My phone is logged in as my old apple id and it is telling me that the password is wrong, but i am typing the correct password for the new apple id... how do i change it!

My phone is logged into my old apple ID and is telling me my icloud can not sign in. I am synced into the new apple id on my mac and there is no problems. I have reset the password about 4 times. I need help

Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID = Sign Out...
Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
Note:
Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID
