My phone just freeze with the apples logo after downloading the ios 6. Can someone help? I cant get to the connect to itunes screen
hi , can someone guide me to restore my iphone? I was downloading ios 6 but i think it was stuck and after that my phone just freeze with the apple icon. I keep following the instruction to press HOME and POWER OFF button then try to get it boot up to recovery mode but failed. Anyone have any idea how to fix it?
1) i have downloaded the latest itunes
2) i have tried the home and reset button but it didnt work
3) attempt to restart my PC connecting the iphone

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

For better or worse, I think it's part of the design for the app tabs to be window specific. I know my first reply didn't solve your problem, but that was one way that worked for me to get the app tabs back when I restarted Firefox. Also I noticed the tag for this post is Firefox 4. I've only tried it with Firefox 5.
I agree with you that the way it's working isn't ideal. For the time being, I've stopped using the app tabs. Maybe they'll fix/improve it soon. -

Hi, thank you very much for your reply. I finally found out how to solve the problem. In System Preferences you go into Accesibilities and then you have to uncheck the box for Invert colour, somehow this got checked (no idea how!) anyway if checked all the colours go weird and photos & pics look like negatives. So I hope this will help other people too if they ever get this problem.

I have disabled extensions, cleared the cache, and run spyware. I also have the same problem with other browsers, but Firefox is the only one I use. I am running Windows 7 home edition. I am using my Mac laptop to ask this question because my Windows Firefox browser will not let me connect to the help site.
chiduke i think because this problem exists in every browser, its not an issue with Firefox browser, i think your windows machine is under attack by some malicious software or your spyware is blocking the access to internet.
Did you say you are able to access for some time after you reinstall Firefox, i don't actually know why it works think its working until the malicious software or your spyware detects Firefox's presence and blocks the internet.
Try to start your machine in Safe mode, i mean windows. (Don't know how as i don't use windows but i know there is a safe mode when i Googled it say you can access internet only in safemode with networking option enabled so make sure you open in that), try to access the web & test for few hours if it works then its a problem with windows. May be you can ask windows support for help. -
i just update my iPhone which was previously jailbreaked when i update it after downloading all the file it start to show the apple logo for a moment and it went and completely turned off i tried to connect through iTunes but it doesn't show any iPhone connected to itunes

Have you tried copying it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases and seeing if it plays ok on your computer ? If it does then try deleting it from your iPad and then sync it back and see if it then plays. The prompt to connect to iTunes is automatic, but not the restore process. You must manually select restore. There is no automatic restore.
