- Have you tried resetting it:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- When you connect it you computer doe you se the iPod in iTunes? If yes I would try restoring it. First from backup and then to factory defaults.
- You may have a battery or hardware problem and thus an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store may be in order. -
i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. I leave it charging until it gets back to full, usually it turns on after a little bit of time after plugging it in, but all its doing is going to the apple logo screen and going blank again.

Never fear, help is here jpeterson4! Have you attempted to plug your device into your home computer? Have you verified that the device is charged? Does anything appear on the device when you plug the device into a charger? Please keep us posted, thanks!

I am trying to import cr2files from the camera into lightroom 5 and keep getting an error message saying Lightroom can not read the files and therefore will not import them. Has anyone had a similar problem….thanks
If you are having the same problem, i.e. a disk permission problem, open your favorite search engine and search on, "change disk permissions", and I think you'll find plenty of information on how to fix the problem. This is a Lightroom forum. Your problem is with your operating system. There is no sense in rewriting instructions that are already available if you do a simple search.

i'm trying to use idvd '09 version 7.1.2 on a powerbook running lion 10.7.2, the system does not locate any themes and therefore will not boot up, any suggestions?

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try on another computer

Battery dead?
Plug it into the charger that came with the iPhone and plug that into a known good wall outlet. Leave it plugged in for 20 minutes. Then while still plugged in reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Instead of dragging the red slider, press and hold the Home button for six seconds.
