my Imovie project wont play on the right screen any suggestions?
Installing a SIM card will never rectify the device being in recovery mode.
Put the device in DFU mode and attempt to restore it as new via iTunes. Google "DFU mode" for instructions.

Hi David. I don't have as modern a Macbook Pro as you, mine is a 2012 model, but perhaps I can help. I often find that my SD card will not load when I first insert it. I have to remove it and then put it into the slot again firmly.
You also haven't posted any information about the SD card. What size is it, do you know how it is formatted, has it worked in that same mac previously, where did it come from, does it currently work in another device (such as your camera)? This sort of information will help to narrow down the problem.
If you post some more information I'm sure people will try to help you. In the meantime, if you look at your post again you should see "More Like This" at the bottom of the page and you may find an answer in some of those related posts.

I can't get my project to share. A pop up screen comes up saying, "This item can't be shared while it is still referencing media on the camera". Does anyone know what this means. I'm confused because I don't have a camera hooked up to my computer.
may you have directly imported clip to timeline without copying it to local drive..
update project for links and check if missing clips are there..

I have been trying to create a multicam clip from two camera's. They sync properly when using the sync feature but not when I use the multicam feature does anyone know what I may be doing wrong?
Probably best if you could post screen shots of the Inspecror window in extended view with a couple of the clips you using for the 2 angles.
If you have audio from both cameras and have identified them separately, the sync is usually pretty reliable.

Trying to solve my non-playing flash videos wherever I surf in Firefox 401 w Flash plugin 10.2.159.1, such as CNN or anywhere really while surfing. Even at the Adobe web site I cannot play demo videos and I own CS4 Suite. I can play any YouTube video I select.

I logged out and logged into my clean account where I install nothing. No joy.

I purchased a Mac OS x 10.9 in December. When using Mac Mail i get thousands of incoming mails that do not show up on my computer. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? this sure never happened on my old mac. i have three email accounts. gmail, verizon and hotmail.
I posted the same question a day ago with no response. I'm using an Acer x193w. You actually don't have to switch monitors to get it to work. Just make sure you turn off the monitor after shutting down the Mac mini (actually push the power button on the monitor, not just let it go to sleep). If you turn on the monitor (push the power button on the monitor), then power up the Mac mini, the monitor is recognized. The issue didnt exist with Snow Leopard for me. It only started after I started using Lion. Hope this issue gets fixed In a future OS update.

If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will

A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. My Ipad which has a capacity of 28.5 GB (and I have used less than 10), is telling me when I want to update the ios system that I have the latest version (which they say is 5.1.1). This is not true. As I need version ios8 to download apps. Can anyone tell me why I cannot download the latest version and why my ipad keeps telling me I have the most recent version? I went into my Itunes account and tried to update it there while connected, but it is also telling e I have the latest version (5.1.1) too! Why is this happening and what can I do to obtain the upgrade?

The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.

For location the iPod uses the location of nearby wifi routers that are in Apple's database. You do not have to be connected to the network/router to use that router's location. Thus, it appears that the iPod cant see a nearby router that is in Apple's database. Apple continuously updated their database based on info they obtain from iPhones. No one has been able to find a way to inform Apple of a router or correct is location.

I am running a 7 year old MacBook Pro 15. Since upgrading to Yosemite I can not run my airport express' without having to reset each of them every time I wish to use them. I did not have this problem with Mavericks OSX. Does anyone know what the problem is and is there a fix?
