My search bar in google now turns blue and I can not see what I am typing. Why? I read somewhere it's a problem with Firefox. Is there a fix for this?

I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but one day my Google search bar turned blue when I tried typing in it. I couldn't see what I was typing. I did some research and some forums said it was a problem with Firefox. Have you heard of this? Is there a solution for it?

For me, the google search bar turns blue once I've typed in a search term, but then want to click on it again to change or add something. The entire bar turns blue. I can still type, but it's hidden. Then when I click Search, it does bring up my search results and now the terms I've written are showing in the search bar, with no blue.
The only way to get out of it when the blue is there, is to reload the page.

I can not resolve a plugin-container.exe error while processing payroll through ADP &have been unable to find the right fix for this. I can send error report.

I have been receiving this error now for a few weeks and have been through multiple layers of IT help trying to resolve it with ADP/Chase Payroll services. When I go to print pay vouchers I get the plugin-container.exe error and I can not print the vouchers. I can provide screen shots if this would help. This is an issue with that plugin crashing, which isn't something we can really resolve for you. Try to disable it, find a replacement, update it, or contact their support

As far as automatic update, the iOS cannot be updated without user intervention, so it could not have been automatically updated.
You need to provide more information about your mail. Does this mean you cannot access the Mail app, you cannot download mail, or what? Not sure why you cannot access the cookies setting in Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Block Cookies>set to what you want.
Problems with 3rd party Bluetooth devices, such as car audio, etc., generally has to do with vehicle manufacturers not providing updates to match the current Bluetooth stacks that are found in today's phones. You can go into the phone and remove the pairing for the car, and then go into car settings and remove the iphone. Then put both devices back into pairing mode and attempt to connect them again. This results in an ugly, washed out image half the size it should be. If you turn off scaling everything is tiny as 8K are displayed on a 4K screen. To get the actual 4K resolution you have to turn on scaling. Still 8K is transferred to the device, but doubling the data lines makes the picture look washed out and create obscure effects for line borders.

This indicates the device is in recovery mode.
Connect it to a computer running iTunes and restore it.

I am simply lookig for some help not an argument. I am not an RF specialist however have setup a few wireless networks in my tenure at Wynn Resorts. I fully agree that wireless networking is an art and a science however the powers that be in Network Land have toughted wireless networking is the easiest and quickest way to get two computers to talk with one another. As I previously said I have already turned one (1) MBP in for this problem and Apple decided to replace it because they could not fix the problem with my particular MBP. This MBP was running Leopard when the problems started
I am having a hard time believeing that there are several other devicces in my home that depend on a wireless network to operate and my MBP is the only one having an issue. I took this a step further and decided to see what would happen if I tried to connect wirelessly via Fusion. In Windows 7 I am able to print and scan to my hearts content without any issues. I am able to browse the internet as much as I want. I close Fusion and try to connect to my printer via wireless and nothing.
In order to get Apple to help do I need to get a Network Analyzer and capture packets when I have these problems? Out of the 1000 + posts is there a consolidation of which answer is the best? BTW I am accessing the internet via a wireless connection using Fusion and Windows 7.
In response to Linc's comments, I will look at the router specifications however I did not qualify that these devices are not using the wireless connection at the same time. Right now I would guess there are maybe two (2) or three (3) at the most that are actively transmitting / receiving information. -- Thanks

Can you see them in Disk Utility?
If so, can you select and Mount them?
If not, disconnect them, reset the iMac's SMC and then reconnect them.

3. Wait fifteen seconds.
4. Attach the computer's power cord.
5. Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
If you still can not see them, connect them back up to the iMac running the older OS, open Disk Utility and look to see how they are partitioned and formatted.

If it's because you were using Office 2004, the eight year old version of Office that was written when Intel processors were not used in Macs, then there will be no fix. Lion dropped support for PowerPC applications, as has been widely reported since Lion's release last August.
You can upgrade Office 2004 to Office 2008 or Office 2011. You can use iWorks 2009 that can open Microsoft files. You can use a number of free applications that are also capable of working with Microsoft documents. You can go back to Snow Leopard, if you have a backup. Or, if you have an external drive or room to add a partition to your current drive, you can install Snow Leopard on it.

In the good old days of Snow Leopard, an open Finder folder had a border along the bottom of the window which could show the number of items in that window and the total available space on the hard disk or partition that folder resides on. That bottom border is gone in Lion and those two bits of information are gone with it. Is that what you're talking about? If so, I'd like to learn how to get it back too and "Show Item Info" is not the way.

Have you tried going to System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy and dragging your hard drive into the box then drag it back. That will trigger a re-index.
