My swipe is not working

I'm trying to delete a song on my iPad. I tried everything I tried swiping left the right right to left it works on my iPod but not on my iPad.
I even tried to go into the music settings and turn off view all music and then went back and tried to do it again and still not working.
Can anyone please help me this is my daughter's iPad and it has explicit songs on here that I want to remove.

Whenever you go to the music application, do you see a little cloud icon next to it?
If you've already tried turning off show all music, you may need to unsync the music using a computer with iTunes.

Now all my new apps as well as several others are gone from the iPhone.
Look on other screens. The 4.1 update ands Game Center to the home screen. If that screen was full it create a blank screen and moves one app from the home screen to the new screen to make room for Game Center. All the other screens are pushed back one place.
How can I get my apps back? It cost me a lot of time and money to discover those apps and get them onto the phone. Are they just gone now?
If they are really gone, you can download them again. You will not be charged again if you use the same iTunes account.

Swipe gesture not working in safari

After upgrading to Mavericks the swipe gesture (previous page) in safari is not working and if I swipe ( i am so used to it now), it causes the safari to freeze.
Anybody else have same problem

Shutdown Mac
Reboot
Before Grey screen appears press the folloing button simultaneously...
OPTION+COMMAND+P+R
When Grey screen appear, release and let to continue to boot cycle.

Swipe settings not working

I can not slide to unlock or power off. I can not swipe to a second page. The only way is to tap and then double tap again. All of the apps work if I double tap to open them. The slide volume will not work either. The touch screen apears to work but the swipe function does not. Is this a setting or is the screen U/S.

The swipe action is part of the Springboard program that runs internally in the iPod Touch. Appears that something is functioning properly with it.
Have you tried to either RESET and/or RESORE your iPod Touch?

Swipe gestures not working on iPad or mouse

The swipe gestures to move between windows, or access launch pad are not working. Cannot do secondary button on mouse. Track pad is also not working completely. Not sure what settings I may have fouled up, or just what happened.
Any suggestions?

Quick Swipe Comping not working

I've recorded a few takes of a vocal. The takes show up as a comp, with the disclosure triangle in the upper left and the comp menu in the upper right. But I can't drag any selections in the takes to edit the comp via quick swiping. This used to work just fine and now it just doesn't. The pointer never changes to the quick swipe cursor when I point at the edge of a selection where one take ends and another take begins. It's baffling. Anyone have an idea what I could be missing?

I also am experiencing this problem. Quick-swipe comping does not work, and then I copy into a new project and it works again. Closing and opening the project back does not fix, rebooting computer does not fix. I have been getting around it by manually dragging a copy of each take from the "Audio Bin" sidebar tab into new tracks in the arrange window, and then doing old-fashioned slicing and comping from there. This has only been happening to me recently (the earliest i can pin it down is maybe jan or feb. 2010).
For some reason, the problem-take shows up in the Audio Bin tab (& Audio Bin window) with a little lock symbol by it. I looked this up in the user manual (p.292) and it says the lock signifies a "protected" region, which means you can't change the start or end points of the file. This would explain why we can't do quick-swipe comping. However, the manual states you can unlock the region by going to the Audio Bin window (not the tab) and clicking on the lock. THIS IS NOT WORKING. I can lock or unlock other takes at ease, but i cannot unlock my problem take.

Swipe Gesture not working on MBP

I have found since going to 10.5.7 on the MBP 15.4" (2008 unibody), that I can no longer do the three finger to the side swipe to get back/forward a webpage. Everything else like Expose works, just not that.
Anyone else had the same issue ?

Open System Preferences/Keyboard&Mouse/ and click the Trackpad tab. Try resetting your Swipe preferences and see if that helps.
If that doesn't help, download and install the 10.5.7 "combo" update.

After the installation is finished, run Disk Utility and repair disk permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility.

Help! Trackpad swipe gestures not working - windows 8 pro mc x64

Hi
I have windows 8 pro mc x64 with bootcamp 5, on my macbook pro 13" mid 2010, everything worked, but my trackpad has no swipe gestures.
No back/forward with 3 fingers on google chrome for exemple.
Is there a WINDOWS REGISTER mod that would enable this feature?
I tried trackpad++ but no good, and also i don't like it, a lot of junk to install.

Trackpad ++ is the only viable option for swiping et. al and is very simple to install.
If you follow the install instructions and read them thoroughly you'll see what I mean.

Two finger swipe is not working in mavericks

In mountain lion (MAC OS X 10.8) I use " command+alt+Y " key combination to watch the photos from any folder and use my two finger to swipe photos foreword and backward.
But it seems missing this functionality in mavericks, if not please any one help me to get it back in mavericks (MAC OS X 10.9).

Scrolling back and forward no longer works with any web browser (I've tried it on Opera, Chromium, and Safari) - with either a Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad. Anyone figure out how to get this back?

I had this issue. My solution was to unplug my Time Machine external Hard Drive from iMac. I know it sounds really odd that having it plugged in would stop the gestures, but it worked for me. It must be completely unplugged, not just unmounted.

3 finger swipe does not work in finder after mavericks upgrade

I used to navigate in finder by swiping with 3 fingers left or right. This still works in Safari. It even works when navigation through system preferences but not in finder. I looked at the options in the track pad preferences and all the gesture options are the same as before. I loved the 3 finger gesture because it made navigation through folders a breeze.

Go to System Prefernces and Trackpad or Mouse, depending on which you are using, and see that the gestures you want to use are all checked.

Magic Mouse Swipe Navigation Not Working - Not Preferences Issue

Hello.
Hoping to find some answers after days of frustration. For some reason, in Safari, when I swipe left to go back one page (like I've always done) my safari browser just freezes up and my only option is to close the window and start over. It's not the same issue I've found most people having where they need to reset their preferences. Mine are set correctly.
Is anyone else having this issue? Or have a solution?
I'll be more than happy to provide more configuration information if needed.

Yep, have reset PRAM and SMC. Same issue.
It's actually fairly common - I've found at least 15 topics on this forum about it and a bit of Googleing revealed it wasn't just me. Can't find any topics that have a proper resolution though.
I did a fair bit of research before posting on here because I didn't want to post a problem that was specific to just me. It seems like it's a fair few people.
One "solution" is to install a 3rd party piece of software and assign right click to a right "tap" (not a full click) - that's not really a solution, more of a workaround.

I just started on a new I phone 5s. Within two hours the swipe stopped working. There is an irritating voice command for everything I press. I have to press every button twice. Please suggest remedies.

How to delete a podcast on an iPad if swipe does not work?

Hi, I'd really appreciate your help regarding my problem.
I usually delete podcasts by swiping them from right to left and hitting the appearing delete button. It can be done either in Music/Video or in settings under the general/usage section. During the last download however the podcast froze in 'preparation' for download and was impossible to finish or to cancell as long as wireless was on, so I switched off the wireless and deleted it manually. It disappeared from the settings/general/usage menu, but remained as 'downloaded' in iTunes and Music lists. Swipe no longer reveals the delete button for it, and it takes space and can be fully played offline, although Music incorrectly shows that its length is only 3sec. Please advice on how to delete it?

Did you try the other standard deleting method? Tap and hold down on the podcast icon until the X pops up? Tap the X to delete.
Have you tried rebooting the iPad to see if that helps you remove the podcast? Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears?

Magic Trackpad will only work on clicking , finger swipe will not work at all.

Please help the new guy out, just switched to Mac
