Hi,
If its for a week than I won't bother. Probably you should try to get teh same report for these wait events in a much smaller period , like 20-30minutes of time period when your db is fully operational. If still at that time the wait events,these or any other, shoot up to high wait times, things can be investigated more deeply.

  • Can anyone see my problem?

    I am using the following code and the value of {contact_type}
    for the record I am using to test is "Past Client". I put the 2's
    in the values to see if the code is working. It seems to be
    writting the correct items to the dropdown, but does not select the
    correct item (Past Client2). I can't seem to figure out why it is
    not working correctly.
    Here is what is displayed in the dropdown:
    Present Client
    Past Client2
    Colleagues
    Associates
    Vendor
    So it Shows the correct items in the drop down, but the
    "Present Client" is selected when the form loads the dataset and it
    should have "Past Client" selected instead.
    Here is the code:
    <select name="contact_type" id="contact_type">
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'!='Present Client'"
    value="Present Client">Present Client</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'=='Present Client'"
    selected="selected" value="Present Client">Present
    Client2</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'!='Past Client'"
    value="Past Client">Past Client</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'=='Past Client'"
    value="Past Client" selected="selected">Past
    Client2</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'!='Colleagues'"
    value="Colleagues">Colleagues</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'=='Colleagues'"
    selected="selected"
    value="Colleagues">Colleagues2</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'!='Associates'"
    value="Associates">Associates</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'=='Associates'"
    selected="selected"
    value="Associates">Associates2</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'!='Vendor'"
    value="Vendor">Vendor</option>
    <option spry:if="'{contact_type}'=='Vendor'"
    selected="selected" value="Vendor">Vendor2</option>
    </select>
    Why would it write the correct item in the list box but not
    follow the select="selected" part???

  • I have not been able to open up Lightroom on my computer for over a year now. Whenever I double click on it, this comes up - can anyone help? Problem signature:   Problem Event Name:APPCRASH   Application Name:lightroom.exe   Application Version:3.4.1.10

    I have not been able to open up Lightroom on my computer for over a year now. Whenever I double click on it, this comes up - can anyone help? Problem signature:   Problem Event Name:APPCRASH   Application Name:lightroom.exe   Application Version:3.4.1.10

    First thing to try is the latest version of Lightroom (currently 5.6). If it don't crash, then problem solved - upgrade.
    If Lr5 won't run on your machine, then Lr4 instead.
    If both Lr5 and Lr4 crash on your machine, then at least you know it's a not a Lightroom version problem but something wonked in your system.
    If you can't figure out how to resolve the crash on the system you have, then it's time for a new system (or try another converter/editor app).
    PS - A few things to try:
    * After re-installing new version, if that doesn't fix it, then get rid of all Lightroom-related data files (rename them so they can be restored), in case problem is in Lr data file.
    * Remove all non-essential hardware in case problem is hardware/driver.
    * Startup up machine with minimal software services.
    * If still no go, consider updating driver software, including mainboard drivers and/or bios firmware if need be.
    * Of course run all the system hardware and software diagnostics you can - problem could be failing disk or ram..
    * Check system event logs for any clues.
    If you don't know how to do some of these things - ask.
    Do not say "you've tried everything" unless you want a lecture - there is most definitely something you haven't tried. It's like when you can't find your car keys - you haven't looked everywhere -  there is somewhere you haven't looked!
    PS - Has Lightroom EVER worked on your machine? what's changed since then..
    Good luck,
    Rob

  • Hi all, I upgraded my MBP to Lion , but on the screen where i need to type my password, click  on my photo and it does not appear the place for me to type my password and it stay stuck there. Can anyone solve this problem for me?

    Hi all, I upgraded my MBP to Lion , but on the screen where i need to type my password, click  on my photo and it does not appear the place for me to type my password and it stay stuck there. Can anyone solve this problem for me?

    Reboot the machine holding Command and r keys down, you'll boot into Lion Recovery Partition
    In there will be Disk Utility, use that to select your Lion OS X Partition and Repair Permissions.
    After that is done reboot the machine and see if you can log in.
    If not repeat the above steps to get into Lion Recovery, get online and reinstall Lion again, it will overwrite the installed version and hopefully after that it wil work.
    Reboot and try again.
    If not follow my steps to create a Snow Leopard Data Recovery drive, then option boot from it and grab a copy of your files off the machine.
    Then reinstall all your programs onto the external drive like setting up a new machine, then use Disk Utility to erase the entire internal boot drive (select the drive media on the far left, not the partiton slightly indented) format Option: GUID , 1 partition OS X Extended and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the external to the newly formatted internal drive. Once that is finished reboot and disconnect the external drive.
    Once you go that, boot into Snow Leopard and update to 10.6.8, use the AppStore and option click on Purchases and download Lion again and install.
    Lots of work, but there is no Lion disks.

  • Can anyone spot the problem?

    Hey i've been workin on an applet which accepts two boolean equations with 3 variables and returns an answer telling if they are logically equal. When it comes to the PLUS and MINUS cases the program works fine. However in the TIMES and DIVIDE cases it returns at least one wrong answer, despite the fact i'm using the logical AND gate. For example if i enter x*y the program returns
    answer 1 = O, when (x,y)=(0,0)
    answer 2 = 1, when (x,y)=(1,0)
    answer 3 = O, when (x,y)=(0,1)
    answer 4 = 1, when (x,y)=(1,1)
    were answer 2 is wrong using an AND gate.
    Here is the for loop which passes the values
                 for (int y = 0; y < 2; y++)
                   for (int x = 0; x < 2; x++)
                       int d = MyParser.answer(x, y);
                       int doub = MyParser2.answer(x, y);

    I'm not even entirely certain what you are trying to accomplish here.
    It looks wrong in any case.
    I can't see anything in the way of debugging, so heres my help for today:
    public void printCode(){
          System.out.println(equation + ":");
          for(int i=0; i<code.length; i++){
            switch(code){
    case PLUS: System.out.print("Plus "); break;
    case MINUS: System.out.print("Minus "); break;
    case TIMES: System.out.print("TIMES "); break;
    case DIVIDE: System.out.print("DIVIDE "); break;
    case UNARYMINUS: System.out.print("-"); break;
    case VARIABLEX: System.out.print("x "); break;
    case VARIABLEY: System.out.print("y ");break;
    case VARIABLEZ:System.out.print("z ");break;
    System.out.println();
    I suggest you parse a couple of expressions, and print out the code generated using this handy little method.
    Parse parse = new Parse("x+y");
    parse.printCode();
    parse = new Parse("x*y");
    parse.printCode();(x+y) : x y Plus
    (x*y) : x
    I think you will find the problem in your parseExpress method (well one of your problems anyway)
    Also take a look at your ParseTerm function - I'm pretty sure that a * is meant to represent "TIMES" and not "PLUS"
    Did you ever thing about using switch statements rather than ifs?
    Good luck,
    evnafets

    Hello! The question is this. In London, took the Iphone 5 as sim free, flew to Moscow put Simcoe, and he writes me that is locked to the operator O2. Can anyone encountered this problem? What to do? How to remove the Unlock?
    <Edited by Host>

    Look at your receipt. Does it say unlocked? It is possible to purchase both locked "sim free" and unlocked iPhones from Apple.
    ONLY the carrier an iPhone is locked to can legitimately unlock it.
    IF your receipt says that it was supposed to be unlocked, and it is not, call AppleCare. They should be able to straighten it out.

    The trashcan is not showing up in the right hand corner of my photos on my iPad. So I can't delete pictures. Can anyone solve this problem?

    Where did the photos come from ? Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing.

    Hey damien555,
    Thanks for the question, I understand how frustrating this may be. It sounds like the update process may have been interrupted, and to resolve the issue, we’ll need to restore your device in recovery mode with iTunes:

    It means you declare your method to return something, but you don't actually return anything.

    Hi, Can anyone encounter the problem that you couldn't update your apps from Mac book pro??
    Currently, my mac can't update any of the software from App store as well as bulit in software like garageband.

    yeah...
    i did that but it didn't work.
    Every times, i click on the software updates, software updates dialog box is popping up and
    checking for new updates.
    After that, acknowledged me whether i want to update or not.
    once, i click on "install".
    it appears following message.
    "A network error has occurred. Check your Internet connection, and then try again."
    i totally can access to Internet as i can browser all the websites.
    Please help me, is it a "virus" or "malware" causing my mac?.

  • The home button has stopped working on my iphone 5c. Did the same a few months ago and recovered 24hrs later. Can anyone explain this problem. Phone still in warranty. Had steam issue recently but this was after last home button episode.

    Have an iphone 5c 8g. The home button has stopped working. Did the same a few months ago and recovered 24hrs later. Can anyone explain this problem. Phone still in warranty. Had steam issue recently but this was after last home button episode and no evidence of damage.

    If you are playing in hockey arenas a lot or if you are bringing it into bathroom same time as shower it may not seem like much but overtime the steam can acquire and build up in the phones usb dock flex cable swell as the home button flex cable. Bring again into apple store and should be covered under warranty again. could also be a delay in a 8gb 5c software may just be very lag.

  • Very weird event-can anyone make sense of this?

    Can anyone explain this:
    Last night while on Firefox (3.5) was editing a post (not here) when, all of a sudden, the text cursor reversed direction uncontrollably and, character by character, deleted (swallowed up) everything I had written. Clicking didn't stop it.
    Don't know if this started exactly at this moment, but heard a continuous series of error beeps which persisted even after FF was closed, with the mouse pointer now flickering constantly. Re-opened FF (page was now dimmed, but came back to life when I clicked on it). No change with flickering mouse pointer and constant error beeps.
    Then went into DU and verified disc and permissions. Everything OK there--SMART status verified, no funny sounds from the drive--and nothing at all written to Console or the Firefox crash log. I think the OS was still responding throughout this event, despite the constant error beeps and the flickering mouse pointer. Was able to access DU during this. Nothing crashed. I think only FF, Mail app, maybe Console (which I keep in the dock), and TextEdit were open at the time.
    Re-booted and everything seemed back to normal. Then ran Applejack (lower case) through its paces, including caches and preferences in user account. So far, after re-booting again this morning, everything seems normal. Don't think this was a Firefox issue, since the flickering mouse pointer and error beeps persisted even after quitting FF.
    What was this?
