My web based email: When creating an email, entering the to, cc, or bcc, after typing first intials, it no longer gives me a choice in a drop down menu. HELP

Until about 2 days ago, I did not have any problem with my webbased GoDaddy email. Now with your update, I can not put in the first letters of the person nor group I am emailing and choose from my email dropdown list of potential email contacts either individual nor group. Instead, I have to go to the directory, choose who I am emailing, find them by sorting, select them, one by one, and then click done for each one, then go back to the email. What a hassle! I called GoDaddy, they said it is the browser. I have my you with my frequent pins up on this browser. I checked internet explorer, and it works like yours use to work. I click the To: box, start typing the person's name and there is a drop down list that enables me to choose the person or the group. HELP

Sorry I have no solution but this happened to me after Hulu told me to clear my browser cache (history) to be able to watch a video that stopped abruptly (Hulu lied; you rarely need to clear the cache.)
You can back up your browser history to keep this from being a problem in the future. I'm trying to insert a number in a field based on a word I've chosen in a drop-down menu.
Example:
I have a drop-down menu named "Fruits". In that menu is "Orange", "Apple" and "Banana".
I have a different field called "Price". If the user selects "Orange" in the "Fruits" drop-down, the value of "Price" is 10. If the user selects "Apple" the value of "Price" is 15. If the user selects "Banana" the value of "Price" is 20.
Been working with this for awhile, and feel like Im very close, but can't get it to work. If someone could help me I'd be grateful.

Thanks to both of you. I realize this is more complex than I thought, and that I didn't state my challenge correctly. Let me try again:
I have a number of textual items in a dropdown, let's say "Apples", "Bananas" and "Cherries".
I have an array of form fields, with different properites expressed as a numeric value, say: "Size", "Weight", and "Cost".
Each of the items in the dropdown has a value for each of the fields.
So when I select an item from the drop-down I want to populate the entire array from the values associated with the items in the drop down. Different items will fill the array of values (I actually have 28 properties in the array and about 7 items in the drop-down). The items will always have a value for all the properties in the array, but I want the user to be able to override all entries. So enter custom text in the drop-down, which would provide blank fields in the array, which could also be overwritten by the user.
Hope that makes sense, and I apologize for my earlier attempt at describing this. It's hard enough to do in plain English, there's no way I can make this happen in Javascript, LOL!

How can I create a drop down menu from an array

I am attempting to create a subvi that allows the end user to add a part number to an .txt file, and assigns that part number a value than can be used to select one of two modes of communication to be used to write to a EEPROM. I am using the "write key.vi" and the "read key.vi" to create and read the .txt file. What I would like to do is is use "get section names.vi" to read all of the part numbers and dump them into a drop down menu after the end user generates the file using the subvi.
I guess my question is how do I dump a 1D string array into a drop down menu.
I have attached some semi-functional .vi's to give an idea of what i am attempting to do.

Place a Ring control on your front panel, then create a property node on the block digram. You can wire the output array of "Get Section Names" to populate the Strings[ ] property of the Ring.
Retrieve the specific string selected by the operator by wiring the Ring control to the Index Array function.

Mail Crashes When Creating New Email

Hi... I did a fresh install of OS X 10.3 due to a catastrophic boot sector error. Everything's working again, except Mail. When I click New Mail, it crashes every time. Is is because I messed something up when I tried to import my old mailboxes and preferences? Can I install Mail again and start from scratch?
More generally, how does one re-install a single Mac app. without reinstalling the whole OS?
In the meantime I'm using Thunderbird and it's working Okay.

This could be a Mail.app preference file problem or caused by something else.
FYI - re-installing the Mail.app rarely resolves any problems with the application.
If the account is a POP type account, quit Mail first and using the Finder go to Home > Library > Mail > this POP account named folder (named by the user name and incoming mail server for the account) > Drafts.mbox.
Delete the Drafts.mbox and empty the Trash.
Launch Mail and a new Drafts.mbox will be created automatically by Mail within the account named folder when composing the next message with this account.
If this doesn't resolve the problem, try targeting the Mail.app preference file.
Quit the Mail.app first and using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Mail. Copy the Mail folder and place the copy on the Desktop for backup purposes.
Using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.mail.plist. Move the com.apple.mail.plist file to the Desktop.
Note: Moving the com.apple.mail.plist file out of the Preferences folder will require re-entering all email account information when re-launching Mail.
The only exception to this is if you have a .Mac account which will be recreated automatically and/or any email account created as part of the original computer setup assistant.
Launch Mail and decline any prompt to import mailboxes. After re-entering all email account information, the Mail.app should rediscover the existing account named folders and mailboxes at Home > Library > Mail.
After confirming all mailboxes were successfully rediscovered, you can delete the copy of the Mail folder and old com.apple.mail.plist file from the Desktop.
Test if this resolves the problem.
To re-install a single Apple application from the 10.3 install discs without re-installing the entire OS requires using an application called Pacifist which can be downloaded at this link.

If you have upgraded to 10.3.9 and your 10.3 install package includes an earlier version, after deleting and re-installing a single Apple application from the 10.3 install package using Pacifist, you need to download the 10.3.9 Combo Upgrade package and re-install 10.3.9 to get the re-installed application to the current version as of 10.3.9.

When I proceed to enter my email, every time that I place the cursor in the username window, every past entered username appears in a drop down menu; I want to clear this memory for this element.

Could you be a little more specific? I took that section out of my CSS file but the problem persists.

I have simple workflow to send email to staff once the item is created.
I want to have in the body of the email as the following:
the title of the created item , the description entered for it, and the url link that open in a browser

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to send email of created item to all the staff.
It will be better if you can explain ‘the description entered’ more detail.
To get the url link in the email body, we can use [%Workflow Context:Current Item URL%].
In SharePoint Workflow 2010 platform, the reslut is
http://sitename/Lists/ListA/DispForm.aspx?ID=1
However, in SharePoint Workflow 2013 platform, the reslut is Lists/ListA/1_.000 .
I recommend to create workflow using SharePoint Workflow 2010 platform.
Or call the SharePoint 2010 workflow by using Start a list/site workflow action inside SharePoint 2013 workflow.
In the SharePoint 2010 workflow, we can add action as below and start the workflow automatically when an item is created.

TS3276 the images (attachments) are automatically resized (smaller) when I send them to a customer. My email screen does not show a drop down menu box where you can leave as actual size. Is there a setting elsewhere that can be set.

Any suggestions on problem I have. I receive images, say a file that is 3 mgs through email on Safari mail and when I try to resend it or forward it or any other larger file, when it sends the file is reduced by about 1/3. My screen does not show and drop down menu with a feature to keep actual size or reduce that is suggested when I looked up solutions to the problem. I can't find a setting anywhere in mail that I can change to make sure my files are kept at actual size. I figure a setting got changed -don't know how - but it happened about a month ago. Caused problems as I work in graphics can't send files to clients as they come out too small. Any suggestions on how to fix.

What email program are you using? And what do you mean by "Safari mail"?

Safari won't provide a drop down menu when I click on paper clip in outlook email. Any help on this would be great.

You could try enabling the Develop menu and try using IE but no guarantees. Not surprising that (Microsoft) Outlook isn't compatible with Apples' Safari.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Prerferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now from the Safari menu bar top of your screen click Develop > User Agent
Try IE 7, 8, or 9.

The same problem occurs when I send the email to the mailing list addresses individually. When I send a simple test message to myself, I do receive it in my Inbox. Can you help me??

Are you using either cc or bcc? Is googlemail involved? Some email providers suppress cc's and bcc's to oneself since you will have a copy in your Sent folder.

How do I delete other email addresses from showing up in the drop down menu (on ie. Facebook) when I'm logging in?

There are other people who have logged into facebook from my laptop so their emails still appear on the drop down menu when I type the first letter of the email. I would like to clear all the emails that appear. Please advise.

Hi,
ADF Mobile cannot directly send emails as this is a security precaution of your mobile phone (imagine all applications could send mails without you confirming). Instead the send mail functionality launches the mail client you have configured and fill in the information you provided in the application. The mail function by the way is implemented through Cordova.

No, not really. I can't take you up on your advice and use delegates. The use case excludes PC all together - there is no computer nearby to be used. In my case they need to make and receive phone calls, be able to transfer calls, and have
a voice mail feature. Lync Edition device does not accommodate this use case well. Here are the issues so far.
1. You can't transfer calls unless phone is unlocked. There is a way to change that trough policy, but the phone lock policy works on per site basis. On a small deployment like ours with a single site this means phone lock for everyone or no
one.
2. Phone shows error about "Exchange integration" as we discussed above. Due to interface design choices this means that "menu" button is obscured form view. That makes it impossible for uninformed user to transfer a call.
Here is the bottom line the way I see it: the Lync Edition Phone is great for an office (cubical farm) environment, but when time comes to deal with special use cases the assumptions Lync/Exchange team made backfire. I'd have to go to Lync Server compatible
phone like Polycom VVX to get around phone lock issue. In Polycom world that is configurable on per phone basis, as, one would argue, it should be. Polycom have bugs of their own though - you can't make "blind transfer" a default method of transfer.
So, no good solution so far.
