N81 PROBLEM PLZZZZZZZZZZ ANSWER

i have a problem with my n81 n gb mobile it doesnt recieve msgs and there is no log and whenver i get to change any option it tells me no enough memory to perform operation i updated its software but nothin changed and it keeps sayin full phone memory and there is 25 mb in use although i dont save any thing on phone memory

You have to hard format your mobile. For that..
1. Backup your mobile's contacts, messages, notes, calender and bookmarks via Nokia PC Suite backup utility. Don't backup anything else like settings or user files etc.
2. Now backup your images, videos and music files using Windows Explorer.
3. Now format your memory card and switch off your mobile. Remove bettery and SIM card and now insert only bettery. Leave yous SIM card at side.
4. Now press and hold this 3 key in switch off position "green call key, * and 3" together and switch on your mobile. Press and hold down that 3 button till country insertion dialogue appear. Insert required detail. Now switch off yous mobile and insert SIM card and switch on it.
5. Now connect your mobile with PC and run Nokia PC Suite and wait for a minute. Now in PC Suite, click on Help - Reinstall PC Suite support. An installation message will appear in your mobile. Install everything and wait for a minute. Now restart your mobile.
6. Now restore all your backup using PC Suite and explorer.
This will solve your problem. Now install applications you like.

Problems with answering and making calls

I have owned a Droid 2 for almost a year now. I love it! But for the last few months I have had a problem with answering and making calls. Sometimes when I answer a phone call it connects like I have answered the call but I can't hear anything and the other person can't hear me. The call says I am connected and I can see the timer going but there is no communication. It does the same thing when I go to make calls sometimes. I can hit send and it connects the call but I can't hear anything. The timer is going and the other person answers but I can't hear anything. The only reason I know they answered is because they then call me back and leave a voicemail, sounding very confused. I have to restart my phone and then the problem is solved. But only for a little bit. I haven't been able to pick out a pattern or anything. It is random and very frustrating. I went into my local Verizon store about the issue and they arranged for me to receive a new, certified pre-owned phone because I pay insurance on my phone. I received the phone the next day and everything went great, for a few days. But this phone is also having the same problem. I am getting very frustrated with this because I need to be able to actually talk to people when they call me. Anyone else having the same problem? I want to go back to the store but I feel like they wouldn't do anything more than they did last time, which didn't solve the problem.

I have this same issue on a bi-daily basis: I can place a call, but then I hear nothing. I can answer a call, but I then hear nothing. The calls connect as the people I am in contact with will tell me they answered my calls and heard me, though I could not hear them - and vice versa. Also, this phone does not like to place a call using the "call" option if dialing from "recent calls". I turn this phone on/ off daily, I've taken the battery out on about 50% of the occassions when this issue has happened. This has been a problem for me for approximately 1yr. My early renew date is just shy of 2 months from now and I cannot wait to get rid of this phone. Aside from having great difficulty making/ receiving calls, the phone is overall slow to respond to basic functions like text messaging or using the camera. Also, most times while taking a picture, the camera will "take a picture" but then there is no image in the file. Highly annoying - the only way to temporarily fix this is to reboot - but like the call issue, the problem recurs. I do have a bunch of apps on installed on the phone, but since I also have an APP killer on the phone, nothing aside from "Weather Bug" app is ever really running in the background that would slow this phone. BUT, right now my main concern is may safety: God forbid I am ever in danger or in an emergency situation, this phone's constant malfunctioning could possibly be the physical harm or death of me. I hope that my family can sue the company that provides the software for this phone, Verizon & Motorola in the event of my untimely death.

N81 problem with installing Ovi

I am using a N81 8G. After I downloaded Ovi on my mobile phone, I could not install it. It said that I had system error. Would anybody hefl my solve this problem?

What do you have Settings > General > Use Side Switch Set To ? If 'rotation lock' then you mute/unmute sounds via the Control Centre (swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen), not the switch on the side of the iPad.
If that is not 'on' then try inserting and removing headphones and see if that gets sounds to work, and if not then try a soft reset (i.e. a reboot) and see if that makes any difference : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear

N81 - Problems with internet browser

I've got an N81 8GB.
Have used the internet browser using wifi perfectly fine until now. When I try to open the browser, it just closes straight away.

Huge speed drop and connection problem when answer...

About 2 days ago my internet speed dropped hugely and it's almost now unuseable. I've run a speed test and the results are below. Any idea on what to do to get this resolved?
Also, every time I answer a call or disconnect a call the broadband connection is los which is very annoying! Again, any ideas about thats causing that?

AndyMc what you have supplied is the wireless connection rate between the router and your wireless adapter this is not related to anything from Bt. This is the connection rate which I am sure would be related to a channel issue more than the connection dropping. Make the change and then disconnect and reconnect the wireless and notice if the connection rate changes. I am sure you will get some interesting results. A good little tool you can use is an utility called inSSIDer just do a google search and install that, it will show you where there may be a conflicting channel issue, the non shared channels are 1.6.and 11. If you need to diagnose the dropping connection problem then that is a different issue to the connection one.

Problem with answering machines and PSTN voice mails

Hi,
We are experiencing issues when we place a call to the PSTN and it is redirected to a answering machine, for example if I place a call to my cell phone and it is powered off normally it will be answered by the voice mail of my celular company, but in this case whe have two strange behaviors:
1.- the call keeps ringing like my cell phone were available.
2.- the call is connected but we are experiencing something like one way audio, we cannot hear audio from the voicemail, but checking my voice mail on my cell phone I realized that I am able to leave a message.
This two issues occours randomly and for both home answering machines and cell phones voicemails, with regular calls we have no problems.

The GW is connected with the CUCM via SIP, and with the PSTN with E1 R2.

PROBLEMS WHEN ANSWERING THE QUESTIONNAIRE

I finish to create a questionnaire in the SRM, functioned everything perfectly, I sent the questionnaire, the user received, however when the user starts to answer the questionnaire, clicando in the options of each question, the user when clicar flega the option and the system always comes back to the beginning of the page. This finishes being complicated, therefore the user has that to clicar in the bar of clod roller to go down until the next question and later that the same clica in the next question the system brings up to date the page and comes back again to the top of the page.
Somebody would know as to decide this problem?

I have the Bold 9650, and haven't had that problem at all. The microphone, as Spiral said, is on the bottom left. make sure your case or your hand is not covering it. Sometimes I'll try to hold the phone between my shoulder and chin and that's when my callers have difficulty hearing me. Better to hold the phone with my hands!!
Are you using a handsfree or bluetooth when this happens? What kind of case (if any) do you have on your Bold?

Is firefox going to contimue pretending that all the problems are answerable is a few gems of technical jargon? There are no big problems--such as the download of firefox 4 creates problems??

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

Rational Numbers GUI; Problem Displaying Answer

I have to make a GUI that adds, subtracts, divides, and multiplies rational numbers. You input them as fractions. I think most of it is right, it does compile, but I don't know how to get my answer to display. I tried simple stuff like just adding it into the setText part at the end, but is there something that I'm missing like convert it to a string or something, I don't really know, I'm still very new to all this.

If I understand correctly, in your calculate method you just concatenate the result onto the end of the string.

Problem with answers

when I connect to Internet and use the Answers/Dashboards it's throwing error like
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage "
and
"not supported xml"

Can you be more specific with your error? If your not able to access the presentation webpage, either the services are down or the RPD file is corrupted. Check both these things and try to restart BI servers and access the same url again in different browsers. From my experience firefox works the best without any issues for OBIEE.

Problem with Answers Chart Output Not Displaying Last Column, Bottom Label

Good morning --
I have created an Answers chart that has the following characteristics:
- Bar chart
- Should display approx 20 bars
- Data is being returned correctly as a table
What is happening is that the frame for the chart is too small -- as a result, three or four columns are not displaying (with the last one truncated partway into displaying). The default label at the bottom of the chart is also getting cut off.
I have tried to manipulate the size of the container in the Compound View, but this does not help -- the graph expands or shrinks with exactly the same partially truncated set of bars. Added "cell padding" and just had more white space between the edge of the container and the truncated label / bar. I have tweaked the Graph Properties to no avail.

could it be because the chart is interpreting the values as text values instead of numbers? and 9 would then be much larger than ther other values? I'd try values without comma....tell it it's a numeric value like 12345.67.

I followed your advise on re installing and all that but it is still NOT working. i tried contacting you or chat but I am always behind X amount of people that Never Change. This is extremely annoying and disappointing. It is not like I had another option! I HAD TO subscribe to this and now it is not working.

Presenter short answer quiz problems with answer

Hi everyone,
it's my first time using adobe presenter. I started to make a short answer quiz and put a word i.e. "car" in the answer field. As I read the manual the question will be correct, if the user is typing the word as answer. After testing the quiz I wonder because the will be only a right answer if the word car will be type alone. When typing a sentence i.e. I have a car this means a wrong answer for the program.
Is there a way to tell the quiz just look out for the right word or means short answer just exactly the word in the answer cell? If I read the manual correct a complete sentence with the word must be a right answer. What's wrong?

To take Leo's and Jorma's comments one step further, any time a client (or even one of our Instructional Designers) requests that kind of question type, one of the first things we do immediately is to set the question to ONE ATTEMPT and then set both the correct and incorrect feedback responses with the same identical content...so regardless of whether you got it right or wrong, the same feedback will display.
So what this means is that the resulting feedback might say something like: "Did your answer include the following?....." and then include the correct information.
I know that seems counter-intuitive, but one of the most difficult aspects of using the Short Answer question type is in terms of how a learner might respond. It can be a very difficult animal to control...and although you could use the retry feedback prompt to help the learner with hints for a correct response, we've found that it's just too cumbersome to worry about.
Additionally, any time we use Short Answer question types, we usually set it to 0 points and totally disable the the Report Answers option, so even as the learner answers this type of question, no reporting whatsoever is triggered back on the LMS, for the reasons that Leo and Jorma outlined above.
