NACHA Process Customization

Hello Gurus, currently we are setup to run one NACHA per payroll for a pay period. Also, we have one Payroll mapped to one consolidation set. Is there anyway we can run NACHA for multiple payrolls in one run? I understand the underlying process is spawned hence my dilemma of what needs to be customized.
Thanks, Naveen.

Isn't this the same question -
Re: Combining Multiple NACHA files into One
You either need to change the payroll definitions(consolidation sets) or deal with it in UNIX.
The seeded NACHA cannot be customised.
Other way is yo build it from scratch.

  • How to handle the One-Time Customer Process (Customizations - Master Datas)

How can we handle the processes of one time customers (for example sales from a store without a warranty process fort he products)? Iu2019m planning of creating a different sales document type and use a single customer number for all of the documents created. On the other hand SAP has a solution for the one-time customers but I donu2019t know its details. Can anybody explain me the standard one-time customer process of SAP (the needed customizations and the master datas to be created)?
Thanks in advance for the answers....

    Hi..
the one-time customer is an account group (CPDA) that is used for "walk-in" or "cash" buyers. although this account group can be used for regular sales orders, this is intended to be used with the Cash Sales type of sales documents, where no accounts receivable is created. you also need the one-time customer as a "dummy" and avoid creating many customer masters for buyers who may only do one transaction with your company.
when you use the one-time customer account group in the Cash Sales order, you enter the one-time customer number in the sold-to party field. the system will then prompt you to enter the actual name (and address) of the buyer. you can have the option of generating SD reports with the real names of the customers.
you create the one-time customer the same way you do with the regular Sold-to party. there are some differences, in the sense that this is a "dummy" account. you do XD01 or VD01 to create the account, choosing account group CPDA. you also make entries in the sales areas.

  • Cheque Writer and Deposit Advice Process Customization

    Hi,
My client has a unique requirement of ordering the cheques location-wise rather then the default organization-wise. Also my client wants to add FYTD US tax balance criteria and show some calculations based on that, so there are functions within the report which calls these package and do the necessary calculations related to FYTD.
To include these 2 customizations, what could the best possible way to customize the 2 processes/packages. Now, I dont think we can handle all these at the report label, hence the packages related to cheque writer/deposit advice has to be customized also. But, these 2 processes are called by PYUGEN and the PYUGEN only calls the seeded processes. How can we make PYUGEN call the customized packages? If that is not possible, do you think its a good idea to go for full customization of the packages and the report and run them separately w/o involving PYUGEN?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
PUYGEN is a pro*C wrapper around plsql packages. I would keep that.
The actual packages called are stored as data within tables. So that gives you the possibility of
    - changing the seeded packages
    - creating new packages from scratch, and modifying the seeded data to point to your package.
The first customizations seems so easy (changing the order by of the driving query) that i would opt for a change of the seeded package.
Pay_magnetic_blocks and pay_magnetic_headers can help you further.
    Good luck,

in ur pricing u have to create following
    JCDB IN: Basic Custom Duty
    JCV1 IN : CVD
JECV IN : Ed Cess on CVD
    J1CV IN : H&SECess on CVD
JEDB IN : Ed Cess on BCD

    JADC Additional Duty of Custom
JCV1, JECV, J1CV and JADC will go to Excise MODVAT Accounts and JCDB, JEDB and JSDB will get loaded on inventory.
    In M/06, for all above conditions, keep following controls;
Cond. class A (Discount or surcharge) Plus/minus A (Positive)
    Calculat.type A (Percentage)
    Cond.category B (Delivery costs)
    Activate "Currency Conversion" and "Accrual"
    Now for setoff
maintain the following conditions in excise default settings.
    JCV1, JECV, JADC
    path: spro>logistic general >tax on goods movements>India >basic settings>determination of excise duty >maintain excise defaults >
along with ur tax procedure maintain these conditions in the specified fields

  • Approach to customize workflow - setting default values of attributes

    Hello Friends,
I have a requirement to customize the standard workflow - PO Requisition Approval & PO Create Documents. I want to change the default value of certain attributes in both the workflow.
Generally workflows are customized through process customization (create a new process by copying the main process (which gets called) and customize it under the same 'Item type' ) but if we just need to change the default value of attributes , do we create a new 'Item type' and set the attribute values or any other approach? If we make the change in the seeded workflow , whichever OU use that workflow will see the changes in functionality.
The requirement is very common and even Oracle has mentioned that buisness should set these attributes to suit their business needs. One such attribute is 'Is Automatic Creation Allowed' (Should PO be created from iProc requisition without user intervention)
What is the recommended/best way forward.
    Please suggest , thanks !!
    Regards,
    Amit

You can simply update the wf_item_attributes table.
    Set text_default to Y WHERE name = 'CONT_WF_FOR_AC_REL_GEN'
    Hope this helps

    hi
Yes, wat you said is correct we can create PO with Reference to PR.
In some situation we need to show this information to the auditing people ( Internal Process ) for that they need to show the reference doct, beacause of this order only we are created PO..
    And also one more scenario
One customer is palcing material for 100 item but we have only 80 in that case we need to deliver the good the customer from our third party vendor in this sitution also we need some refrence document which is linked to Our Order..
Because we need to create PR

    Third Party Process
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

  • IDOC ABAP enhancements before processing

    Hi Guys!
My scenario is that I'm using XI to send a Sales Order IDOC to ERP. I need to make some ABAP enhancements in ERP so that some data is modified before it creates a Sales Order IDOC upon sending from XI. Would anyone have any idea how I can go about this?
    Thanks in advance!
    Glenn

    Hi Glenn,
User Exit – Function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS
In the function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS, form call_va01_new_orders is performed wherein BDC data is built up for every screen required to post a sales order. User Exit ZXVEDU04 is performed at various stages during the built up of BDC data
XI tool translates the order into an intermediate document (IDOC) with message type ORDERS and IDOC type ORDERS01.  Reaching into SAP, the function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS processes the IDOC and calls VA01 transaction with BDC data built out from IDOC data. Successfully processed IDOC posts a sales order, whereas a failed IDOC processing generates workitem for workflow processing.
At a high level, the IDOC processing executes in the following manner:
           1.     Interpret IDOC header segments and captures organizational, customer master and purchase
order header details. Performs user exits for each segment to process customizations to data
                   processing.
           2.     Interprets item level segments and captures item level details like material information. Again,
it performs user exits for each segment.
           3.     Sums up the order data and determines the posting criterion viz. creating order with reference
                     etc.
          4.     Builds up batch data communication sequence (BDC) with respect to the required screen
sequence of posting a sales order.
          5.     While building up the BDC data, system performs user exit to process customizations to BDC
                     data.
         6.     Calls transactions VA01 using the BDC data.
         7.     If the processing fails, an appropriate workitem is generated for workflow processing.
if you give me brief i can help you out more.
    Thank you .
    Regards
    Ram

  • Dependency in Xellerate User process task

I create a process task in xellerate user process and in de dep table create de dependency, to execute before the add user task, but the task never start. I modify to execute before System Validation with the same result.
The task is not conditional, allow multiple instances and required for termination.
Why the task don't start, is this normal with oim11g?

If you are using OIM 11g you may want to look at using an event handler to manage such user process customizations rather than Xellerate user adapters. These are the newest way of handling such customizations on user objects and I think may give you better compatibility going forward. In your case a pre-process handler seems appropriate. Refer to the OIM developers guide for details.

  • Configuration & Customization

    Hi All,
Could you please let me know what is the difference between CONFIGURATION & CUSTOMIZATION. It has been asked by many interviewers.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Vamsi

    Hi Vamsi,
    DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CONFIGURATION & CUSTOMIZATION:
The difference between cutomizing and configuration is:
    - CONFIGURATION: we will configure the system to meet the needs of your business by using the existing data.
    - CUSTOMIZING: we will customize or adapt the system to your business requirements, which is the process of mapping SAP to your business process.
    - CLIENT: A client is a unique one in organizational structure, can have one or more company codes. Each company code is its own legal entity in finance.
    Configuration vs. Customization
When considering enterprise software of any type, it is important to understand the difference between configuration and customization. The crux of the difference is complexity. Configuration uses the inherent flexibility of the enterprise software to add fields, change field names, modify drop-down lists, or add buttons. Configurations are made using powerful built-in tool sets. Customization involves code changes to create functionality that is not available through configuration. Customization can be costly and can complicate future upgrades to the software because the code changes may not easily migrate to the new version. Wherever possible, governments should avoid customization by using configuration to meet their goals. Governments also should understand their vendor's particular terminology with regard to this issue since words like "modifications" or "extensions" often mean different things to different vendors.
And Most Important thing is configuration always will come first then customization.
    CONFIGURATION:
    1. Configuration is everything else done in SPRO.
    2. Configuration is what u do from the existing one in sap.
Ex: assigning pricing procedure PR00 for a material.
    3. When installing SAP on any system. that’s configuration.
    4. Configuration means using the standard SAP functionality & mapping to the client’s process
    CUSTOMIZATION:
    1. Customizing is modification of the software to meet special customer requirements.
Changes or additions to ABAP code.
    2. Customization is the changes needed for the existing SAP to meet the business
         Requirement.
Ex: creating a new pricing procedure which is not existing in the SAP.
    3. Modifications according to business requirement is customization.
    4. Customization means modifying the standard SAP for client requirement, it is costly &
         Time taken.
    Please Reward If Really Helpful,

  • BPM composer URL

    Hi,
Whenever I hit the following URL from remote or same machine where the servers are installed
    http://ipaddress:8001/bpm/workspace
    In the browser it becomes
    http://localhost:8001/bpm/workspace
and due to this i am unable to connect to BPM workspace from remote machines connected in LAN.
Also, while accessing em and weblogic console from remote machine or from same machine where the servers are installed
    http://ipaddress:8001/bpm/workspace
doesn't change it remains the same after hitting and i am able to see console as well as em.
This issue is with SOA composer, worklistapp and BPM workspace & BPM composer.
    Regards,
    Nitin

The answer couldn't help us much. I will give you the steps we have followed in detail
We have created a sample customizable BPEL process by selecting a Customizable checkbox in Jdev.
Then,The sample BPEL process is deployed to SOA server from JDeveloper. We could see the deployed BPM process in EM console.
Also the MDS repositories required for customization too are present in EM.
Then We tried accessing the BPM Composer to do some customization on the sample BPEL process deployed. We are able to login to the BPM composer using "weblogic" user.
But the composer displays only the welcome page. There are no other links enabled.
Please let us know How to make a BPEL process customizable using BPM composer.
Also there is an another SOA Composer. When this composer is mainly used?
There is another BPM Workspace console. But we could not login to this using "Weblogic" user though we are able to login in EM, SOA and BPM composer.
Why the login failed uisng "weblogic" user here? What for this console is used?
