Named Credentianls Error

Hi,
I am in the process of setting Cloud and DBaaS , I followed the instructions in the documentation for Privilage Delegation. When I am creating a credential, I put the credential properties (Username, pw, Run Privilage:sudo run as root) and click Test and Save I get one of the following errors: "ERROR: NMO not setuid-root (Unix-only)" or " Failed to launch process: Cannot run program "/u01/app/oracle/agent12cr2/sbin/nmo"; java.IO Exception: error 13, permission denied".
Thanks for the help in advance.

It looks like the agent is reporting one of the following errors
"ERROR: NMO not setuid-root (Unix-only)" or
" Failed to launch process: Cannot run program "/u01/app/oracle/agent12cr2/sbin/nmo"; java.IO Exception: error 13, permission denied"
Both these errors point to an incomplete agent installation. The root.sh on the agent is not executed leaving in one of the following cases
- NMO not linked giving the "Failied to launch process ..", seen with PS1 agents
- NMO is not set-uid enabled, giving the " NMO not setuid-root (Unix-only)" error.
Customer should run root.sh to complete the agent installation.

you need to use the name java:comp/env/Country in the client.
and the client deployment descriptor will need an ejb-ref entry:

  • Naming Exception error in initiate task

Hi guys, I'm really in need of help. I'm getting naming exception error in my initiate task. There is no error code from bpel. I had copied my workflow from my development server (using oracle 10g) to my production server (using oracle 9i). I did not get this error when I'm in my development server.
The difference between these two servers are:
    1) IP address
    2) Oracle database version as stated above
    3) domain name
The initiate task is just after setsystemdefineattribute and before my next task of sending email. The error did not halt the workflow but continue to the task of sending email.
Can someone help me? I can't seems to find the error which cause this problem.

I've found out the reason why I'm getting the naming exception error. It is due to wrong configuration in is_config.xml. I'm using Active Directory instead of JAZN and somehow I configure it wrongly to get the error.
I've switch back to JAZN XML base provider and it is working fine now but I would want to use the active directory as my identity service provider.
Currently my active directory in my production server is win2000. I'm using the is_config_for_activedirectory template but I still don't understand what values is needed to provide for the is_config.
Below are some of the items I don't understand.
    1) Can I still use this if my AD is on win2k? If not, what should i use as I'm using AD as my id service provider now.
    2) The default xmlns after the tag <BPMIdentityServiceConfig> do we need to change it? If so, to what values?
    3) What is this property name and values after the providerType?
    4) What is needed for binddn? I only know what to put for ou and dc but I'm not sure about cn.
    5) What is this password for and whose password?
    6) The whole lot under userControls and roleControl, I'm totally lost.
I've read through the Identity Service Provider (16.7.1) but I still can't understand how to config the active directory part.
I really hope someone could help enlighten me on this. Thanks

  • Naming conflict error in SPAU corrections

    Hi experts,
I am doing some SPAU corrections ,In function group V60F,include LV60FFCC
in screen number 200 it is showing some naming coflicts error in the following fields
    RV60F-CVVSTTEXT
    CCRCTEXT-RCCVVTEXT
it shows that customer modification screen element must be renamed.
Could anyone help me in this .
Useful answers will be rewarded .
    Thanks in advance.
    Regds,
    Devika.

First of all you have show_orders in index and show_order in constraint. I'll assume it is a typo. Secondly, when you create constraint without specifying reinforcing index Oracle looks for existing index on same set of columns in ASCending order. If such index doesn't exists (and that's your case since one of your index columns is in DESCending order), Oracle tries to create one with same name as the constraint. That's why you get ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object. In general, you can explicitly specify index name to force Oracle using existing index. But it will not help you. If you issue
    alter table orders add constraint orders_year_show_uq unique(year, show_orders) using index orders_year_show_uq;
You'll get ORA-14196: Specified index cannot be used to enforce the constraint.
Anyway, Oracle doesn't support using DESC indexes for PK/UK.

  • Javax.naming.NoInitialContextException ERROR

    I get the following error:

I created a Java class which has a method which connects to the database using:
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
    javax.sql.DataSource ds = (javax.sql.DataSource)ctx.lookup("jdbc/TMBLDB01CoreDS");
    m_connection = ds.getConnection();
It errored out on the second line with the above error. I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.
I got it to work with a JDBC connection but prefer to use JNDI with JDBC.
I started the Oracle AS Containers for J2EE (OC4J) by double clicking start_oc4j.bat.
What is missing to make this work?

Yes by adding the following solved that issue.
env.put(JboContext.DEPLOY_PLATFORM, JboContext.PLATFORM_LOCAL);Another thing is I have added BC4J Client as library to my project. When I run I am getting

Saket, the problem is right here:
    ReadObjectQuery(com.amgen.bria.business.bizobject.Clas
    ificationTypeBO)
When you read a an object mapping back, the primary key you have specified for that object mapping in Toplink has to be part of this search criteria (it is how it's stored in toplink's identity map/cache)
Since you are only executing a 'select count(*)', it is erroring out

Check the format of your NS entries.
    The below seems wrong:
    sathy.net. IN NS 192.168.1.2
    localhost IN A 127.0.0.1
    change to
    NS 192.168.1.2.
    or
    NS sathy.net.
Note the dot (.) to terminate the entry.

  • Mysql w/ JDeveloper EJB Named Query Error

I have the following named query:
    @NamedQuery(name = "Node.topParent", query = "select o from Node o where o.node is null")
However, when converted to a SQL query (connected to MySQL) it shows:
select * from "node" where (parentId IS NULL)
The "node" causes MySQL to error however if I manually remove them then it works. Why is the query using "" and how can I configure it to by MySQL compliant?
    Thanks in advance,
    Kris

Appears that by default JDeveloper uses \" in the annotations for table name.

  • Named Pipes Error Recovery

I have a program which uses named pipes to communicate with a (third party) named pipe server. I call CreateFile to open the pipe, then Readfile and Writefile to read and write data. If I get an error, e.g. due to a network fault, I call CancelIo, then
CloseHandle to close the pipe, then Createfile to re-open it. I have tested this by unplugging/replugging the network cable. However, on site in a 'real' environment, I have had a couple of occasions where I have received a 'ERROR_NETNAME_DELETED' from the
pipe I/O, and when I close the handle and call CreateFile to try and recover, I get the error 'ERROR_SEM_TIMEOUT' from the CreateFile call. Can anyone think why this might be? I guess a difference between my testing and what is happening 'for real' might be
that my testing involved disconnecting the network cable, whereas the 'live' incident may have been just a temporary glitch on the network.

Yes, unpluggin a network cable is entirely different from communication glitches, lost packets and firewall issues.
One of the big reasons is that unplugged network cables are detected by windows, and the port is shut down. In network management in control panel you'll see the red cross. resources associated with that port will be freed, and communications will be aborted.
However, if the network port stays up, Windows will not know that anything went wrong. It still sees an active port, so it will just keep waiting for data to arrive. Communications that were in process may still be waiting when you retry them, so you have
to be careful with the error handling, and verify that a) you handle all problems, and b) you cancel all necessary things.
If you want to test such scenarios, you could play with the firewall on the target computer to simulate lost packets and timeouts.

  • Mail: "You Already Have An Account Named 'Whatever'" error: SOLUTION

Symptom: You can't save any changes to your mail account in Mail (Mail.app), unless you change its name. But you don't want to change its name.
*The Reason:* You have CalDAV account(s) created in iCal with that same name! In iCal, the "Account" names don't even have to be unique (i.e. you could have two or 10 accounts in iCal all with the same name), but Mail won't let you save a Mail account which has the same name as one or more iCal accounts.
Solution: Quit Mail. Go into iCal, Preferences, Accounts, rename all the accounts to something besides your Mail account's name. When you open up Mail you should be able to save your mail account with your preferred name.
If That Doesn't Work (advanced stuff ahead):
    Quit Mail and:
Back up your com.apple.mail.plist by zipping it.
Open it with Property List Editor (from Developer Tools)
Navigate to Mail Accounts > and look into each one. Each one has a name. You'll see one normal mail account and also a MailCalDAVAccount. Change the "Name" from your mail accounts name to something else. I just used BlahCalDAV where Blah was the old name.

Do you have a Snapfish account? if so, try signing in by clicking on the Snapfish icon underneath Sign In (where it says Sign in with another account).
If you do have a Snapfish account already, AND it still won't let you sign into ePrint with it, go to Snapfish.com login page and click "Forgot Password". This way you can reset it. Once you have reset your password, by waiting for the reset email, then try logging in to ePrint center again by using the Snapfish login.
If I have helped in any way, just click the Kudos star on the left. Also, if your issue has been resolved, don't forget to select Accept as Solution

The class the error message is referring to is defined with a SWC that my project links to. However, I've even tried to define a class with that same name (and location) within my project and it still fails to find it.
Why am I able to Project->Clean and run this project within the desktop AIR player (or on the device in debug mode) but unable to export it as a release build?
I have found a couple of threads mentioning a similar error but none of them have been marked as resolved.

At this point I feel I am talking to myself, but I will share my work-around in case it helps another who may stumble across this post.
In my particular case, both my main AIR application and my ANE wrapper library were referencing the same external Flex library (same revision). Both projects had the library linkage set to merge. Changing the linkage to "External" on one of the 2 libraries (it doesn't seem to matter which) and leaving the other as "Merged into code" enabled the export to complete without the bizarre "Unable to find named traits" error.
