NB6 - jtable listener TableModellistener not found in JTable properties

According to Swing Java tutorial, a listener TableModelListener must be implemented in order to update JTable entries. I am looking for this listener in NB6 properties for jtable component but can not find it.
Does anyone knows what is the replacement name for this listener under NB6 or how JTable are updated dynamically.
Please advice

You should be looking in the API when you need to lookup other objects and in this case an interface.

    the password value stored in OID is just a hashed value (by default) and it's virtually impossible to retrieve the original value of password, as entered by the user.
    There are option in OID for storing the encrypted value (vs the hash value). Perhaps that in this case there are means to do the job.
    In my opinion it's a bad choice (from governance perspective) to allow developers retrieving a user password value from a directory.

    Here is the how the ListenerClass is set up for JMSSessionPool in config.xml. The com.carescience.jms.CMMsgListener class file is in cia.ear deployed as application for this domain.
        <JMSServer Name="JMSServer-0" Store="jmsq" Targets="myserver">

            </JMSSessionPool>
            <JMSTopic DestinationKeys="MDSDESTKEY"

            <WebAppComponent Name="axis" Targets="myserver" URI="axis.war"/>
        </Application>
    I know we can avoid to the error by adding the jar file containing this class to the class path. But is there any other way?

    You could double-check in the JMS newsgroup, but I'm pretty sure that a statically configured listener like this would have to be in the classpath.
    If possible, I'd encourage you to consider using a MDB instead. That could be in your EAR file instead.

  • Listener class not found which is declared in the Connector project.

    Hi friends,
    I have a problem, I have created a new J2ee connector project in eclipse
    and created the classes listener,activatioinspec,resource adapter and worker with the name JCA1. I have created another Message driven bean project with name MDB1.Since iam using EJB2.1, I have not implemented MessageListener instead of that i have implemented the
    listener class which is created in the JCA1 Connector project.In the MDB class i have imported that listener class implemented.
    Iam using application server Jonas, i have declared in ra.xml message listener type, In the MDB1 ejbs ejb-jar also declared messaging type.
    While deploying the MDB1 jonas log says the class listener declared in the JCA1 not found , can any one suggest what is the problem ??, Listerner class is declared in JCA1 Connector.

  • Chainsaw 1.3 error on socket listening (class not found exception)

    Hi,
    I'm not sure that's the right place to post on this subject, but I can't find a better place on forum's topics.
    So I've got following problem :
    I'm using chainsaw 1.3 with java web start. Before september, it was working very well.
    I'm using a log4j.properties, and that the sample for socket appender :
    log4j.appender.socket=org.apache.log4j.net.SocketAppender
    log4j.appender.socket.remoteHost=localhost
    log4j.appender.socket.port=4445
    log4j.appender.socket.locationInfo=true
    Few days ago, chainsaw has updated itself and since I got everytime this lone and pretty ugly message on chainsaw :
    Level
    ERROR

    My console and file appenders are still working on, but I'm not very comfortable to read them (they are pretty messy!)
    So if somebody could help me to fix that, or even give me advice to set up another kind of receiver, I will thanx him a lot. (I am figthing with log4j xml setup file, but I can't figure how to set up something working with chainsaw...)
    Bye

    I'm one of the Chainsaw developers...
    LocationInfo is temporarily broken. In the meantime, there are two workarounds:
    This workaround won't give you locationInfo in Chainsaw but will load the events:
    1. Set the socketappender as the first appender in the list in the log4j.properties file - example:
    log4j.rootLogger=debug, stdout, Socket, Rollingfile
    reason this works: socketappender defaults to locationinfo=false, and rollingfile was using %L pattern (locationinfo), which modifies the logging event that is sent over the socket. Send the event over the socket prior to using the %L locationinfo pattern in the fileappender.
    This workaround will give you location info in Chainsaw:
    2. Don't use a socketappender-instead, have Chainsaw parse and 'tail' the file using logFilePatternReceiver.
    As long as the location info pattern is part of your pattern layout in your file appender config, Chainsaw will display the location info (location info isn't being serialized in this case).
    Here's an example logFilePatternReceiver config for use with Chainsaw (modify the param values based on your fileappender config):
    <plugin name="logFileReceiver" class="org.apache.log4j.varia.LogFilePatternReceiver">
    <param name="fileURL" value="file:///c:/downloads/log4j/sample.log" />
    <param name="timestampFormat" value="yyyyMMddHHmmssSSS"/>
    <param name="logFormat" value="TIMESTAMP LEVEL(FILE:LINE)#CLASS,LOGGER THREAD!MESSAGE"/>
    <param name="name" value="logfileReceiver" />
    <param name="tailing" value="true" />
    </plugin>
    Here's the source/javadoc for logFilePatternReceiver describing the params and keywords supported when defining the logFormat:
    http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/logging-log4j/src/java/org/apache/log4j/varia/LogFilePatternReceiver.java?rev=1.19&view=auto

  • JTable with DefaultTableModel not showing?

    I hope this is SSCE...
    I'm using a defaultTableModel, but I cannot get the Table to show.
    When I just simply put the vectors straight into the table, without using the DefaultTableModel it worked.
    This is the code I have now, the table doesn't show at all?
    I actually couldn't get this example to compile, as it only contains snippets of the code. The real code compiles and runs, but the table just doesn't show. I guess it's all part of the same problem.
    If someone could help me with where I've gone wrong in the usage of the DefaultTableModel, it would be greatly appreciated.
    import java.util.Vector;
    import javax.swing.event.TableModelEvent;
    import javax.swing.event.TableModelListener;
    import javax.swing.table.TableModel;
    import javax.swing.*;
    import javax.swing.table.DefaultTableModel;
    import javax.swing.event.*;
    public class FutureTable extends JTable implements TableModelListener {
         Vector colnames = new Vector();
         Vector inne = new Vector();
         TableModel model;
         JTable table = new JTable();
         public FutureTable(){
              //vector colnames
              colnames.addElement("Date");
              //vector inne
              inne.addElement("example")
              //Adds inne and colnames to the TableModel model
              model = new DefaultTableModel(inne, colnames);
              //sets Table to TableModel model
              table.setModel(model);
              //adds a listener to the table
              table.getModel().addTableModelListener(this);
    import javax.swing.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.util.Vector;
    public class FutureTableHolder extends JPanel {
         Vector inne = new Vector();
         JScrollPane scrollPane;
         FutureTable theTable = new FutureTable();
         public FutureTableHolder() {
              //Sets the layout to gridlayout so that the table will fill the panel.
              setLayout(new GridLayout(1,0));
              scrollPane= new JScrollPane(theTable);//ScrollPane
              add(scrollPane);
         }//Ends FutureTableHolder()

    When I just simply put the vectors straight into the table, without using the DefaultTableModel it worked. Well, the code is the same.
    You can use:
    JTable table = new JTable(data, columnNames);or
    DefaultTableModel model = new DefaultTableModel(data, columnNames);
    JTable table = new JTable( model );So you obviously have a problem with your code and you are not building the Vectors the same way. Since you did not post a SSCCE, we can't help (Although as noted above your data Vector is empty so there is no data to display).

  • APEX Listener 2.0 - RESTful Services Failure with  404 - Not Found

    Versions used:
    * APEX Listener 2.0.0.354.17.05
    * Application Express 4.2.1.00.08
    * Oracle Database 11.2.0.1
    When testing the sample RESTful Service Module oracle.example.hr I always get 404 - Not Found page.
    I followed the documentation to install and configure APEX 4.2 and the Listener 2.0. Everything in my APEX installation works fine except RESTful Services.
    For example, when calling this RESTful Service:
    http://company.com:45678/apex/DEV/xxuapex/hr/empinfo/
    I get a 404 page.
    The corresponding entry in url-mapping.xml is:
    <pool base-path="/DEV" name="od01" workspace-id="xxuapex"/>
    where xxuapex is the name of the schema as well as the workspace where the RESTful Service is installed.
    Moreover, the corresponding od01.xml, od01_rt.xml and od01_al.xml in the conf directory seem correct.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Eddie Awad.

    Hi Eddie,
    +> try the other option base-url of the url-mapping+
    I did. No change. Still getting 404.When active it should transform the 404 page into a detailed 404 with a description of what the error is. Just to be sure, this is activated in the defaults.xml file of the APEX Listener as: *<entry key="log.logging">true</entry>*.
    You should then see a detailed 404 output in your browser of what's going wrong first of all.
    +> Could you post your url-mapping.xml file?+
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <pool-config xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apex/pool-config">
    <pool base-path="/DEV" name="od01" workspace-id="xxuapex"/>
    <pool base-path="/TEST" name="ot01" workspace-id="xxuapex"/>
    </pool-config>
    Despite using the url mapping script, it didn't map mine correctly and had to edit it manually. It was the use of "apex" that got it to work for me:
    *<pool base-path="/" name="apex" workspace-id="workspace-name-here" updated="2013-01-09T20:48:59.75Z"/>*

  • Stand alone APEX listener install fails with timezone region  not found

    Hi,
    I have searched the forum but found only a thread for the installation with Goldfish.
    I am very new to all this so I apologise if my problem is too simple, but please help as I am very frustrated with it.
    I have a 10.2.0.4 database on Windows XP for testing with.
    I installed APEX into it successfully, then down loaded the listener.
    I have to Java installations, one under my Oracle Home, the other under Middleware where I have JDeveloper installed.
    If I try $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/bin/java -jar apex.war it throws a Unsupported class version so I tried with the Middleware jdk and it appeared to install.
    I then went to http://localhost:8080/apex/listenerConfigure and entered the password for APEX_PUBLIC_USER and the info for a basic connection, it fails with the following message
    Request could not be processed due to error:
    Sat Apr 30 00:06:30 CAT 2011
    ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-01882: timezone region not found
    Please if anyone can help me through asap this I would be most grateful

    Yay, I found the solution:
    I started by running:
    begin
    for v_rec in (select tzname,tz_offset(tzname) v_offset from v$timezone_names
    where tzabbrev='CAT') loop
    dbms_output.put_line('tzname '||v_rec.tzname||', offset '|| v_rec.v_offset);
    end loop;
    end;
    SQL> /
    tzname Africa/Khartoum, offset +03:00
    tzname Africa/Windhoek, offset +01:00
    tzname America/Anchorage, offset -08:00
    tzname US/Alaska, offset -08:00
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    I then added -Duser.timezone="+01:00" before the apex.war ie
    java –jar -Duser.timezone="+01:00" apex.war

    I have tried swicthing my primary Oracle Home using the Home Selector. Did not help.
    Shouldn't the TNS listener be started, or?
    Any ideas what to check?

    I have found the solution of my problem from Oracle9i Portal's Configuration Guide , the troubleshooting part. The document can be found in the Oralce9i Documentation web site.
    The problem is that I set the incorrect information in my tnsnames.ora file when installing Oracle9i Portal.
    The solution is set the host name, port number and SID in the tnsnames.ora file. This file is located at
    \Oracle_Home\network\admin\
    Here is the example of the content in that file:
    PORTALDB_MyHost =

    That is the correct behaviour of the components. A table won't display the column headers unless it's in a JScrollPane. Though you can get the headers from the table yourself manually using getTableHeader and put them where you want.
