Need 64 bit test for Win7/Vista

I develop application which is required to be 64 bit and it hosts IWebBrowser - so   is also 64 bit.
when I load html page to this control which contains flash, of cause I get problems, as there is no flash 64 bit activex.
There is, however one solution I could see to- use test version of Flash. For linux it exists ( and for about a year already ).
The question is. If there would be not a release, but a test version of Flash 64 bit for Win7/Vista in near future?
And if yes - what are estimation for time frames?

Hi
The Satellite P300 seems to be a new series at the moment therefore I think that this could be the reason why you cannot find the 64bit drivers on the Toshiba page
But dont worry buddy Im sure that Toshiba will release the 64bit driver in the next time I remember well that the 64bit drivers for the other series were released a little bit later too.
Just for note;
Some series were equiupped with the same hardware devices. SO maybe you could check some single drivers from different notebook series

  • Need to test for a Hashtable key in JSTL

    What I am trying to accomplish is to test a Hashtable for a specific key and if it is there run some HTML.
    This is my code but it obviously wrong since JSTL yells at me when I try to execute it.
    <c:set var="hash" scope="page" value="${UpdateStatusData}"/>
         <c:if test="${hash.containsKey('success')}">
              success
         </c:if>UpdateStatusData is a Hashtable. How can I modify this "code" in oder to test for a key?
    Thanks

    EL != java
    Luckily EL handles Maps quite well:
    <c:set var="hash" scope="page" value="${UpdateStatusData}"/>
    // one way
    <c:if test="${not empty hash.success}">
         success
    </c:if>
    // an alternative syntax
    <c:if test="${not empty hash['success']}">
         success
    </c:if>Cheers,

  • Need a test for fetch into from a cursor or an alternative.

    I've got a small oddity.
    Ultimately it's two cursors that are exactly the same except a part of the WHERE clause. Depending on how many records I am going through (based on a counter) I need to use one cursor or the other as the outer loop, to then process an inner loop.
    My problem is I don't quite know how to exit out of the current loop when the fetch reaches the end of the cursor. Meaning, in each of these loops, there's an IF THEN to see which cursor I'm using, and then fetch from the correct one. If I use a FOR X IN CURSOR loop, I'll have to double up the code, one for each outer cursor loop.
    What's the test in Oracle for no record found or when it hits the end of a cursor with a fetch? Or am I stuck and I can only use the exception block when the fetch fails?
    Thansk!

    You can check whether your fetch returned any data with %notfound.

  • Do I need more memory for Parallels/Vista?

    Hi, I have a MacBook Pro with a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 1 GB 667 MHz RAM running 10.4.10.
    I installed Parallels 3.0 and Windows Vista. I also need to install Office. I would like to have Leopard installed once I am sure Parallels works with it (the Parallels people tell me I should wait a few weeks).
    The problem is that when Parallels is running my Mac is sloooooowwwww as molasses in January. Last week it ran like a breeze but this week it's so slow I have to wait 2 minutes for my mouse to respond. The difference being that this week, I actually need to run applications.
    Will upgrading the RAM take care of the problem, or will it do nothing for me?

    I can vouch for this. Vista is a memory pig. Expect it to use over 512MB of RAM while idling. I've also tried running Windows XP in Parallels on an iMac with 1GB of RAM. With few applications running in OS X, and only doing updates in XP, all available memory is eaten up, and the machine acts like a dinosaur. In my opinion, to effectively run Parallels with Windows 2000 or above, _at least_ 1.5GB of system RAM is required. Anything less, and you're either gimping Windows (by assigning too little memory to the virtual machine) or the entire system (by assigning more memory).
    On another note, if you're going to run anything remotely intensive (video or photo editing, or game playing) use Boot Camp instead.

    No, Mozilla hasn't released a 64-bit version of Firefox for Windows yet. Maybe with Firefox 10 early next year.

  • DTM test on Windows Vista

    Hi,
    I want to do DTM test for Windows Vista, Win 7, Win 8 and Win 12. I am able to perform DTM test for Win 7, Win 8 and Win 12 using HCK 2.1 however HCK 2.1 is not supporting Windows vista. Also as per Microsoft "HCK 2.0 is now retired and no further submissions
    will be accepted using that kit". I want to know whether I can DTM test for Win Vista. If it is possible with earlier version then would I able to merge Win Vista result with other OS e.g. Win7 or Win 8.
    Thanks,

    Hi Sach,
    If you just need to gets a WHQL signature for Windows Vista, then you can run HCK test/submit Win8.1 certification and gets WHQL signature for Vista. Please refer the screenshot and latest WLP.
    PS. You have to make sure your device driver no issue on Vista before to do this.

  • 64-bit Editions for Windows XP

    Yeah I see a lot of post and questions about 64 bit edition for Windows Vista... but is there a 64 bit edition for Windows XP of iTunes or does the vista version work with the 64 bit edition of Windows XP? Cause everytime I try to download the iTunes on the main page it says It calls for 64-bit edition and that I need to go download that version... is there a version of Itunes for Windows XP 64-bit?

    I am a Mac advocate but have to use Windows and currently uses Windows XP Pro 64Bit (SP2) and I have the same issue I have found several websites on how to work around iTunes's problem to get it to work but what I am looking for is a way to request Apple to include the 64-Bit drivers and modify the install to recongize Windows XP Pro 64-Bit as a valid OS. This is all the work arounds are doing in the first place. I DON'T want to got Vista x64 to get a supported configuration of iTunes. You have 64-bit drivers for bootcamp so ITunes and Safari should be 64-bit.
    BTW Here is the site I found with the workaround
    http://yukichigai.googlepages.com/iphonex64
    Steve love your products but we need your apps to work in 64-bit on XP Pro 64bit and Vista 64bit, don't do a Microsoft.
    Also while your at it can you hurry u with the Blue-Ray capable 15' MacBook Pros that can do WUXGA or 1080p HD resolutions (1900x1200).
    Thanks for the lack of blue screens,

  • No HCK test for ndis filter driver in server 2008 R2

    I am running HCK 2.1 to test my ndis filter driver.
    1. The testing client is running server 2008 R2.
    2. The driver is built for win7 x64 with vs 2012.
    However, there is no test avaiable in the HCK console. Even I choose "Add Features" in "devices and printers" or "software devices", I still can not find the proper tests. But
    if I build the driver for win8 x64 and run the tests in server 2012, the "ndis 6.5 logo test" shows up.
    Now I do need a signature for win7 and 2008 R2.
    Does anyone know how to add "ndis logo test" for win7 in HCK 2.1?

    anyone can help?

  • Drivers/Utilities CD..XP and VISTA..can I use vista for WIN7 64 bit install?

    Drivers/Utilities CD's, that came with the p-35 Motherboard..XP and VISTA..can I use Vista for WIN7 64 bit install, or download the chip set drivers for Awin7 BEFORE the OS install??
    MSI P-35 Platinum
    Q6600 Core 2 Quad
    Presently XP 32Bit
    NVidia geforce 8600GT
    8GB DDR2 SDRAM PC6400-800MHz
    Windows 7..waiting to be installed.
    Hello,
    I WANT TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL.I have Windows 32 Home XP, I have the Win7 OEM I want to install.
    When i bought my MSI mobo, it came with both the drivers and utilities for XP and Vista.   Can I use the chip set drivers and utilities for Vista, until i can go to MSI and download the latest chip set drivers?  When do i install these drivers....before the OS install, or after?
    Can I format these drives first, go in the BIOS change to boot sequence from Raptor Boot Drive to the DVD/Rom to boot the WIN7 from, or should I format while installing Win7?
    Someone on another forum suggested that 1) disconnect the two droves, then install the OS on the boot drive, and2) before win7 install, make the proposed boot drive (NOT THE DVD/CD ROM the first choice priority for the boot sequence....is this right?
    Is it absolutely necessary to unplug the other two drives, while formatting and installing the WIN7 O.S.?  People tell me that there is a chance of the OS installing sometimes on the other drives.
    Also, if I want to change the now present boot drive Local disk letter (C) to my storage drive (G) and the other two drive letters, can I do this in manage disks, anytime, or only during windows setup install?
    Thx

      I've never had this much trouble hooking up a HDD.
           I have two IDE DVD/CD ROMS.  (My RAID MODE was IDE in XP OS, and still is with WIN7.)
           I have three SATA HDD's.
    After unplugging the SATA 2TB HDD while I installed the WIN7 OS on the 500 GB HDD (it was on the 74 RAPTOR, but I moved location, and made absolutly sure nothing went on my raptor)
      So today I decided to re-hook up the 2TB Storage HDD, and when I did, I went into bios,and to the cell menu, and LOAD ALL DEFAULT SETTINGS, so it could see my newly installed HDD,which I had all my backup Data from the previous HDD. I also checked and the RAID MODE was IDE, and the boot sequence was the WDC 500GB Boot/OS drive, rebooted,then I got that annoying blanked out screen with that blinking cursor, so I got back into the bios,and changed the 1st boot to the IDE Pioneer DVD/CD ROM, 2nd boot to the 500GB HDD, and rebooted again..still got that blinking cursor.
    I opened up the Mobo, checked and replugged all SATA, and power cables to the three HDDS, tried it again,then still got the blinking cursor.  Seems no matter what I change in the boot sequence,it never wants to boot properly
    ....AND THEN,
     I started with TAB > POST> started WINDOWS, then once it opened up, I went to manage Disks, saw all three HDDs were online and healthy.  Win. Explorer also listed them in that folder, in device manager, it listed all three too.
     The managed window showed this:
    74GB    (system,active,Primary partition)                       Storage
    2TB     (Primary partition)                                           Excessive Storage
    500GB  (Boot, page files,crash-Dump, Primary partition)   Operating system
    Both the PCI IDE BusMaster and ON-Chip SATA Controller were both ENABLED.
    Before I just got online, I tried RESTART, and it opened Windows the usual way,  so I hope I don't have any more problems. It worked fine BEFORE I just plugged in the 2TB HDD back in.
    I pretty much did what everyone suggested,except for leaving in the 74GB Raptor when I installed WIN7, which prompted me to format the drive prior to installing the OS.  Also, when I changed the IDE, RAID,and AHC1, to the AHC1 Mode, just before I installed Window7, like a few suggested, I also had problems, so after the install, I went back and changed it back to IDE.  My Floppy was an IDE, but I removed it from my system, and disabled in BIOS, but even a few times I went into Bios and saw that thje floppy was 1st Boot, even though I changed to either the DVD/CD Rom, or the 500GB boot drive.
    So what is the preferred boot sequence?

  • Need Vista 64-bit drivers for Satellite Pro P100

    Hello,
    I have one question about Drivers for Vista 64bit version. I have a notebook Satellite Pro P100 and search in the drivers catalogue and find only a BIOS update for 64-bit systems.
    But where can I find the Hardware drivers for 64-bit versions?
    Regards
    Mischa

    The 4 GB RAM issue is a known issue at the toshiba helpdesk (yes I had it and called) it's due to a problem programming the BIOS to handle more then 3GB.
    As for your drivers I can tell you in advance you can find everything except SD Card driver and the microphone jack in plug support driver.
    I'm sorry I forgot where I found those but the rest is out there (you can also try installing 32-bit version for the most).
    Ow and the BIOS - update for 64 bit doesn't work for me so don't count on it to much lol

  • Drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit on Satellite L300-1AM

    When I can get drivers for Windows Vista 64-bit? Or I need to intall 32-bit drivers on my 64-bit Vista operating system?
    Please links ;)

    [Toshiba - Download Drivers|http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp]
    In the Drivers Search Page (the link above) select these filters:
    _Product type:_ +Notebook+
    _Family:_ +Satellite+
    _Product Series:_ +Satellite A Series+ (don't try the L series if you want to find anything useful)
    _Operating System:_ +Windows Vista 64 Bit+
    _Country:_ +World Wide+ (you have to select this in order to get rid of those multiple country options available for the modem)
    _Language:_ +English+ (obviously)
    Don't modify any other filter. The results will be about 100 (maybe more, but the site is set to show up to 100 results).
    Advices:
    1. Download the latest versions only (there's no point in downloading multiple versions of the same driver, yet they will be shown in the search results area)
    2. Download what's specific to your laptop only (network - RealTek, both wired and wireless; chipset and graphics - Intel; modem - Toshiba; webcam - Chicony; there's no point in downloading anything from otehr vendors - except maybe the touchpad, but Windows can handle it properly without aditional drivers)
    3. Don't download any BIOS or Firmware file; they might not be for your notebook, and installing the wrong ones is a sure path to screwing up your notebook (and losing the warranty); if you need them upgraded, go to the download page for your specific model, Windows XP or Windows Vista 32 Bit drivers (since they are OS independent anyway)
    Toshiba utilities (DVD Player, ConfigFree, etc.) should be OK too (again, download the latest version only).
    BTW, I own 2 Toshiba notebooks (L300-1AM and L300-1AN; quite similar, the differences are in HDD and CPU only) and I had the same problem: no 64-bit drivers (and the same "support"). Quite strange the idea that Toshiba is testing these 64-bit drivers before releasing them (according to a previous post), since the same drivers, for the very same chipsets - but installed on other models - are available. Windows Vista 64-bit is out on the market for nearly 2 years now, the production of these models has already been stopped (and I assume they have not been produced during one night only :) ), yet they had no time to test the drivers... High-class support from Toshiba!
