Hi Everybody, I just started to learn database programming with C#, but i am facing problems over problems. Actually I'm running Windows 8 Pro, x64 Architecture. I tried installing SQL Server 2008 Express and SQL Server Management Studio Express, it do
get installed but was not working when i linked it to c# code. Anybody please guide me about how to install SQL Server and make it running on Windows 8 Pro... Thanks in anticipation

SQL Server 2008 SP3 Express ,
SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 Express or
SQL Server 2012 Express on Windows 8. For more details, please review this article:

I tried to install the latest version of iTunes on my Windows PC, but the installation failed and I have the error message "Runtime Error R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly." When I then tried to run iTunes (assuming that, since the new install failed, my older version was still OK) I got the message "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. I just installed the latest version of iTunes on my windows 8 computer. I was trying to transfer an audiobook I downloaded through overdrive media console to my iPod nano. Overdrive says it was transferred successfully, but it is not in my iPod. I have had no problems transferring audiobooks until I downloaded this new version. Help!

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

When I try to install the latest version of ITunes on My windows computer, it doesn't install. It says log in as administrator (which I am). Any fixes?
What didn't work? Removing everything or just the older version of Bonjour? Did you follow the instructions in the link I provided above to walk you through the process?
Perhaps it would be a better idea to post this in the iTunes forums, since it is an issue with iTunes and your iPod Shuffle.

What is the latest version of SQL Server which ColdFusion 7 supports? For example can Cold Fusion 7 connect to SQL Server 2012 or 2008 without any problem? Thanks
First things first, I would advise you to apply the upgrades, if you haven't yet done so. I remember Coldfusion MX7 to be quite buggy. We could not wait to apply the upgrades and hotfixes. Version MX7.0.2 turned out to be the lasting upgrade. We used MySQL, however, not SQL Server.
You can get the information you want from Adobe Support. But you can think it through yourself. The way I think about it is as follows.
Coldfusion is an application that includes database functionality. I may therefore assume that Coldusion would be backwardly compatible in its support of database server versions. In other words, a new version of Coldfusion, say 9 or 10, would work with an older database server like SQL Server 2005.
However, I would not expect a previous version of Coldfusion, say MX7, to be compatible with newer database server versions like SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2012. Even if someone told me they were compatible, I would still expect such a set-up to be an accident waiting to happen. -
I cannot install the latest version of iTunes on my laptop (windows xp). I receive a windows installer error. Am not having any problem installing other software or syncing w iPhone. Made the mistake today of uninstalling my older version and not cannot install new. Need new version in order to sync w new iPad.
Any help would be appreciated.Apparently, security programs like Macafee and Norton view Itunes updates as new programs and block then from access. If you add Itunes to the list of exemptions, it solves the problem.

(You do not need to add a driver for connections to Microsoft Access databases.) To add a driver, click Add Entry and select the path for the driver:
For Microsoft SQL Server or Sybase Adaptive Server: jtds-1.2.jar, which is included in the jtds-1.2-dist.zip download
To find a specific third-party JDBC driver, see the appropriate website (for example, http://www.mysql.com for the MySQL Connector/J JDBC driver for MySQL, http://jtds.sourceforge.net/ for the jTDS driver for Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase Adaptive Server, or search at http://www.teradata.com/ for the JDBC driver for Teradata). For MySQL, use the MySQL 5.0 driver, not 5.1 or later, with SQL Developer release 1.5.
You must specify a third-party JDBC driver or install a driver using the Check for Updates feature before you can create a database connection to a third-party database of that associated type. Alternative:
As an alternative to using this preference, you can click Help, then Check for Updates to install the JTDS JDBC Driver for Microsoft SQL Server and the MySQL JDBE Driver as extensions.

hello, your system is probably infected by malware/adware. please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove FindLyrics 1.111 and Sing Along 1.111 (if it's not possible to delete them, keep them disabled). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

SQL Server Error when tryingt to install the CMS DB on SQL Server 2005 x64
I am trying to install BOEXI R3 on w2k3 64-bit OS in a SQL Server 2005 x64 database, I am currently at the installation step where i Specify an exisiting CMS database. I created a System DSN and tested it, and it was successful. So when I got to the screen where I select my datasource I had to check use trusted connection because the datasource would not show up when Use DSN created by WOW64 option was checked. From there I could select the database I created. Oh yeah, I also made the application server local system account part of my DB admins group so it has full access to the database yet when I click next to connect I get a CMS Database Error: STU000226. here is what I have in my log:

How do I get past this?The workaround was, I installed the SQL Server Client tools and created a System DataSource and then had to create a user DataSource (it is a quirk in the installer I guess) to get past this point in the installation. Now I have an even bigger problem. Everything but the CMS installed and the installer hung at the "Configuring the CMS" part. The installation finished but when I tried to log into the Central managment console I got this error:
Error: Server GSD-RRPT-RDC:6400 not found or server may be down (FWM 01003) null
I looked at the forums for the cause of this error and came to the conclusion that BOEXI does not support an installation on SQL Server 2005 when using Integrated Authentication to the SQL Server. See the engineers here disabled SQL Authentication for the SQL Server and will not allow it.
Is this true? Or is there a workaround to install the CMS using Integrated Authentication in the DataSource ?

I am trying to connect to sql server 2000 from forms 6i (patch

by using the following command at command prompt
