Need help on IDoc for Picking, Packing and PGI against the Sale order
Hi All,
I am new to this IDoc stuffs. Below is the scenario for which I would like to know the details of the IDoc...
Business Case:
1. Storage location is a HU Managed but not WM managed.
2. This storage locations is managed by a third party
3. Outbound delivery document against the SO will be created by our personnels in SAP for this storage location.
4. Picking, Packing and PGI needs to happen/post via Idoc. (By packing here, i refer to assign the HUs that are already created for the materials and is available in the storage location and not repacking)
Is there any standard IDoc that can be used here to Pick, Pack and post PGI. We would like to have picking and packing in a first idoc and PGI on the second idoc.

The business process is as below (it was changed recently to have the creation of OBD, pick HUS and then post GI via single IDOC)
1. We have a storage loc in our enterprise structure that is HU managed but not WM managed.
2. This storage loc is being maintained by a third party.
3. SO will be created to be shipped out of this plant/sloc.
3. The stocks at this storage loc will be Special stock "E" against the sales order. And the stocks will be Packed in HUs.
4. The third party is informed to deliver the stocks (HUs - that do have the special stock number which internally refers to the the SO number and the line item number) directly to ship to party address in SO.
5. The 3rd party will physically ship the HUs to customer and send in the details that they have shipped goods against the sales order.
6. The details sent by the 3rd party will be received in SAP to create OBD for the sales order, Pick, Pack and post GI. This can happen via a single IDOC..
I am now planning to create a custom IDOC type referring to the standard IDOC type DELVRY03 and message type DESADV and to use a custom BAPI/FM.
Do you think I am using the right ones?

I need to know if the item number when capturing/ modifying a sales order can be calculated automatically with some route in the customizing, or do I need to do it with some user exit in the sales order entry?.

Goto the T.Code "VOV8".
Select your order type.Details.
Goto the "Number systems" tab.
Maintain the value as "10" or "15" like this any number as per your requirement for the field "Item no.increment".
So that the main item will be incremented by the number you specified here.Suppose you specified the number as "10" the line item numbers would be 10,20,30,.....
Next is if you maintain the value for the field "Sub-item increment" then the sub items will be incremented by the number you specified here.
It would be mainly used in the case of BOM.
To get the numbers from the order,goto the T.Code "SE11/SE16".
Enter the table name as "VBAP".
Pass the order number.Execute.
You will get the all line items with numbers.

Is it possible for us to configure that deletion of a sales order is not possible? The requirement is that Sales Order should not be allowed in the SAP to be deleted from the system, and user should not be able to do it.
Please let me know, if this is possible and what is the way to do it.

In SAP its not able to delete the sales orders permanently.
So, its better to create User Profiles and Roles for the user to access the list of Sales orders

GR for order against a sale order, in MMBE
Dear all Hi,
I have made GR for order against a sale order, in MMBE X qty of stock is displayed as sale order stock, but when i check it for its reservation the system is not displaying the reference of sale order & also in MMBE screen it is sdisplaying sale order stock qty as X under unrestricted usebut correspondingly it not showing anything under Reserved column,
Please help.
thanks in advance.for material(say A) and plant combination In MMBE what you see is the stock against the sales order which is the result of GR with sales order as account assignment.
Now reservation what you see in MMBE is the reservation made on material A by its parent matrials which my abe sales order account assigned or may not be assigned..\
Hence these two are different meaning and consideration.

Need a report for actual cost by WBS element by month

I am looking for a report that will give me the total costs charged to a series of of WBS elements by month. Does anybody know if such a report can be run and what the transaction number of this report would be?

I tried the S_ALR_87100185 report as you instructed but I cant get it to display as I would like to see it. What I need the report to do is display actuals by month and WBS elemnts from January through August. However the report cuts off at the May period. Does anybody have a workaround so I can see the charges from January through August?

Need a report for O[pen Purchase orders

Is there any standard report for open Purcahse orders for particular plant, my client requires one report of open P.O quantity to know the stauts, like 3 senerios example there is P.O No -100, and 3 line items

10 - X - 10 Nos deliveird 10 Nos
20 - Y -10 Nos deliveried 5 Nos
30 - Z - 10 Nos No delivery - open
in report output, i need to get P.O No and line item 20 for quanity 5 and line item 30 qty 10 Nos, since the 2 line itme need to deliver , line item 10 is completly delivered, so we need to ignore the same.
Please lte me know how to proceed.

Is there any standard report available for Customer listing which display customer details.

I think there is no standard report functionality to get the list of the customer but you can get that in this way,
Go to SE16 transaction enter the table KNVV then execute system will give the all customer which are maintaining sales area data.
Take the table KNA1 to get the general data customers list
Take the table KNB1 to the company code data customers list

Please check in VBAK, VBAP for sale order details like division, material etc. and KONV for pricing conditions. For information, pricing report can be executed through standard report V/LD.

Actually client needs a report with Transactional data of each vendor, where as this report gives vendor wise report. One more thing we are using 4.7 version and we dont have that 1042s variant in the system.
Any related notes to apply to get that variant.
