Need assistance with font(number) alignment.

I am in the process of updating many of the forms that our office uses to live forms and am not finding any information on how to format the font such that the number (first character in a line) will align correctly. As you can see from the image, the alignment is ocurring from the front edge of the character. This gives the appearance that the formatting is incorrect, when in fact all of the boxes are aligned at .5. We are in the final stages of editing the forms and this keeps arising as an issue with the management team that the numbers are not aligned correctly. I am using the Arial font.
Is there any way I can manipulate any of the font settings to correct this issue? Any other suggestions? If not, I'll just have to tell my team that this is how it is designed.

See Paragraph properties > Indents > First. Select 'Hanging' from drop-down and tweak the size.

Need assistance with fonts in trash

Aloha all, I have a rather strange problem that I can't seem to figure out and would appreciate any assistance to remedy this anomaly. Every time I restart my machine, I get a folder with rescued items, sometimes two folders. Usually I recognize what the contents are, but every time there are fonts in the folder. I haven't trashed any fonts, but I have turned some off, and occasionally while using Safari I get popup asking me for permission to use a certain font that I don't have installed. Any idea why these fonts keep showing up in the trash, and more importantly how do I stop it? When they appear I drag them to the desktop and re-install them, but they show up again. What's going on here? Mahalo for any all tips, info. JB

recovered files in trash are junk and you shouldn't do anything with them. these are temporary files created by some program you have. when you restart the computer programs are supposed to delete their temp files but some badly written programs don't. then those files are put into Trash in "recovered" folder. this also happens during improper shutdowns when programs don't have a chance to deal with their temp files properly.

I have a Windows 2008 R2 server which is experiencing random BSOD during the night. This is occurring maybe once or twice a week. I have gathered two Memory crash files. This server is running Citrix XenApp 6.5 but nothing else is reporting an issue except
for the memory dump. I’m looking for assistance in reading crash file and finding the cause.
I’ve spent over a week going through articles trying to learn and trouble shoot the BSOD but no closer to understanding the WinDbg 6.3.9600 report.
This is a production server and I have verified that Windows Updates has updated the server with latest releases. I’m hoping that the crash file will show something before I have to run the Driver Verifier.

LaCie doesnt make ANYTHING. It contains a Seagate 3.5" 5400RPM HD.
Check the HD on another computer, if nothing, your SATA bridge is fried, or the HD (very unlikely since its a Seagate inside)
Youd have to crack open the HD, remove the SATA bridge cart thats plugged into the HD and put the HD into an enclosure or a HD dock to get the data
those external HD use a 50 cent SATA bridge famous for failing. The curse of all the good HD externals is the junk 3rd party SATA bridges attached to them that crash and burn.

Need assistance with multiple issues with several G5's

Hello All,
I need to get some assistance with some issues that I am having with several G5 Dual’s
I just started a new position and I have 4-G5 Dual’s that are in various states of disrepair. Normally I would call Apple support but they did not purchase the extended AppleCare packages for any of the G5’s theu purchased and they are ALL over a year old now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
G5 number 1 - Has its fans running at full output all the time. Could this be a firmware issue?
G5 number 2 – Had it’s logic board replaced by one of our company computer techs and now at start up gives a long tone then boots to white screen with a command prompt. Requiring me to either type “mac-boot” or “shutdown”. If I continue the boot process the machine just goes to a gray screen and stalls. I researched this yesterday and tried several solutions I found here but to no avail. Seems to me that past of the issue is that it is stuck looking for a firmware upgrade. How do I get past it?
G5 number 3 – Mac seems to boot correctly but when you click on the Apple icon in the upper left hand corner the Finder blinks out and then comes back. It does this every time we try to go to the Apple menu. We removed the original hard drive and installed in a known good drive, our tech drive with a G5 image, rebooted the mac and the same issue occurs with the Finder.
G5 number 4 – This unit boots to black screen with a Unix command prompt displaying “root#”. Any thoughts.

Apparantly someone not certified to repair them messed them up.
Tell bossman it would be in his best interest for you to take them to a authorized Apple Repair and get it done with.
Tell him that Mac's rarley screw up hardware wise and there really hasn't been a great demand for skilled repair techs outside of Apple.
If your worried about your job, tell him you can take care of the software, training, minor hardware and networking end of the matter. Which, luckily for you, are longtern and ongoing needs. You can tell him that.
There's nothing wrong in admitting you don't know how to do something and keeping your job, than to be unable to fix them and lose your job.

I recentely bought a account at dreamtemplate and i'm working on creating my first website, ive got the basic down but whenever i want to change the font of one character in a word( lets say the k in kind to a different font) it switched the entire word or sentence to that font. ive contacted dreamtemplate about it and this is the solution they gave me but i dont understand it:
To change the font, you need to put the TrueType font files of edwardian and Kunstler in the font file of the template folder.
You may change the font of one character in a word as below.
For example:
In the HTML file,

if anyone can shed some light and knowledge on how to apply it that would be amazing.
Also another problem i've been experiencing is that whenever i edit something in an html file (index.html) and save it and view it none of the changes show up besides the change in words(ie. no font change, no size change) but pictures are fine.
Now my last which has bothered me a lot latly is an issue with my propertie inspector box, It works fine with an html file but whenever i try to edit a .js file it either goes blank or is greyed out, i've searched for solutions and have made sure im not in live mode, but no luck, i even reinstalled DW, still no luck. I need to edit a menu bar that is a .js and i cant do it with this issue. if anyone needs further info let me know.

Need help with a decimal align tab script for CS5

I have a list that consists of 6 tabbed headers in helvetica bold, followed by a list of numbers that should right align under the headers, and these need to be in helvetica regular. The list is currently in arial font. Is it possible to change both the fonts and set the tabs to align right by using a script? If so, is there one 'out there' somewhere? I am desperate, this is for my daughter's basketball team and they need it asap!

Need assistance with Captivate 7 Action - Open URL/File

Hi folks,
I am developing a Captivate application that will be published as an executable. It contains one slide, containing a number of buttons that will perform various operation.
My issue is with the Open URL or File option. I need one of my buttons to launch a small telnet app. It currently exists on my desktop. When I browse to find that file, it opens Firefox, and wants to download the file again.
I need an action that will open the app, not a a web browser.
Can this be done?

You did it! It worked.
I thought about the onLoad function in the new browser, but I couldn't control the menu bar, tool bar etc. without re-directing the user to yet another window.

Assistance with font configuration /etc/fonts/local.conf

I would like to replace all non-monospace fonts with Semplice Regular, size 6px, and all Monospace fonts with Profont, size 8.
After messing around with the configuration for two days, I have come to a sad realization that I have no clue.
In particular, these lines of code amaze me the most:

<string>Semplice Regular</string>
</edit>

I would expect that it would replace all-monospace with Semplice Regular, leaving the size unmodified for now as I was trying to get at least something working. However, what it does, is that it makes me unable to use almost all fonts and replaces those with a generic one.
Could someone enlighten me on the matter? Thank you!

Your rule might need "fixed" instead of, or as well as, "monospace".

Need assistance with font(number) alignment.
