Need Help; Must accept email and create item in custom list

Hello Forum,
We have a Sharepoint 2010 site that has been using Microsoft's ticketing system for years. What I need to confirm is if there is a way to email the sharepoint list and have it create a ticket (parsing the from address, subject and body then creating a ticket
from that and sending a confirmation email reply to the user).
I understand there may be some coding needed, but don't know where to start without having to start over and lose our years of lists / data. Can someone please help provide information or at the very least a starting point for me?

I called
out to this code from an ItemAdded Event Receiver on the library to parse the email metadata.
It's also possible to email enable Libraries and receive items emailed straight to the library. There's a special event receiver available for that which helps you parse email metadata. (But I couldn't receive email directly from my project so I didn't use

The Sales BOM helps in identifying that. The product in Red is the Parent Item and the product in Grey are Child items. The paretn item is the table OITT.Code and child items are in ITT1.code.
Let me now if you require more information.
Also how can I send you the layout here for your reference?

Need help with rescue email and security questions

I accidentally entered the wrong rescue email address while setting up my account, now I can't remember the answers to my security questions. Is there any way to reset my rescue email without answering the questions? I can't purchase anything on my new Mac until this is corrected.

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Trigger is created (on After delete, insert action) on table A.
When insert in table B at least one row, then trigger update value to 'Y'
in table A.
When delete all rows from a table B,, then trigger update value to 'N'
in table A.
In detail report changes are visible, but the trigger replacement value is not set in session value.
How can I implement this?

You'll have to create a process which runs after your database update process that does a query and loads the result into your page item.
For example
SELECT YN_COLUMN
FROM My_TABLE
INTO My_Page_Item
WHERE Key_value = My_Page_Item_Holding_Key_ValueThe DML process will only return key values after updating, such as an ID primary key updated by a sequence in a trigger.
If the value is showing in a report, make sure the report refreshes on reload of the page.

In my experience, the code created by graphics apps is less than satisfactory. And image based menus are very awkward for several reasons.
#1 If you decide to change your menu later, you must go back to your graphics app and re-craft the whole thing. After 2-3 times of this, it gets old in a hurry.
#2 Image based menus cannot be "seen" by search engines, screen readers and language translators.
#3 CSS styled text menus are better for your site's visibility, accessibility and they are a snap to edit in Dreamweaver.
That said, if you're still married to image based menus, use Fireworks to create images only. Use Dreamweaver's Image Rollover Behaviors to create your rollover scripts.

Data detectors in emails and calendar items

I'm enjoying many of the improvements in the iPhone 3.0 release, but there is still a shortcoming of the iPhone that really nags me. That is the data detectors. For the most simple cases like a well-formatted address and a phone number without an extension the data detectors work well in emails and calendar items.
However, for numbers with extensions (e.g., 800-555-1234 x99) the data detector identifies the text as a phone number, but is then unable to dial it correctly.
Certain addresses with suite numbers or additional information are not handled correctly either. FOr example:
123 Main Street
Suite 3, Main Tower
Springfield, IL 12345
The city, state, and ZIP are identified, but the additional information on the second line prevents the address from being identified.
While these cases certainly are not the majority of phone numbers and addresses, they are certainly quite common (especially the phone extension case).
Trying to use the iPhone to dial into conference calls is also not easy. While the phone number is often recognized, I have to copy down or remember the code that must be dialed after the call is made. If an extension to the data detector for phone numbers could be added to look for things like 6-digit codes shortly following a phone number, or numeric strings following a phone number and the word "code", this would certainly help. Also, fixing the dialing extension issue above could allow people to provide the dial-in code as an extension (e.g., 888-555-1234 x123456).
Does this bug anyone else?

I should add that not only is the detector unable to dial a phone number with an extension, it actually breaks the ability to dial the number. The detector does detect the extension and underlines it as part of the phone number it detects, but when you tap to dial, you get a standard phone service message that the "number is unable to be dialed". Grrr!!!!
So not only does the detector not give you the ability to dial a number with an extension, it PREVENTS you from dialing the number at all if there is an extension following a phone number in your email/calendar item.
Hope this gets fixed soon -- this is a big complaint of "corporate" iPhone users that are used to the Blackberry dealing with these things easily...

Send email of created item to all the staff

Hi SharePoint Designers,
I have simple workflow to send email to staff once the item is created.
I want to have in the body of the email as the following:
the title of the created item , the description entered for it, and the url link that open in a browser
what should be the fields of them?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to send email of created item to all the staff.
It will be better if you can explain ‘the description entered’ more detail.
To get the url link in the email body, we can use [%Workflow Context:Current Item URL%].
In SharePoint Workflow 2010 platform, the reslut is
http://sitename/Lists/ListA/DispForm.aspx?ID=1
However, in SharePoint Workflow 2013 platform, the reslut is Lists/ListA/1_.000 .
I recommend to create workflow using SharePoint Workflow 2010 platform.
Or call the SharePoint 2010 workflow by using Start a list/site workflow action inside SharePoint 2013 workflow.
In the SharePoint 2010 workflow, we can add action as below and start the workflow automatically when an item is created.

revert back to Maverick that is what I had to finally do. This was the worst upgrade I have ever seen. Hopefully you have Time Machine backup and can revert back. It was pretty painless except for a few issues. I will wait until Apple gets their stuff together on this upgrade or may never will.

The email and password will be the ones for your computer's security, not something for any Adobe product. You might need to consult Mac customer support if you are unable to determine the required information.

I am having similar problem. Can't open any of CS3 programs after trying to download Dreamweaver Trial, which wouldn't work because "couldn't remove DLM extention" error message. So now I can not run Illustrator, Photoshop, or even Adobe Reader. These are properly licensed for about a year. I get "License for product has stopped working". Have 2 pending cases open with Adobe support (one for Dreamweaver trial, one for license problem) since 8/3 with NO ANSWERS - It says answers within 1-3 business days. Was on phone support hold today for over 3 hours before line went dead with no help. What is up with adobe support? Can anyone help?

I have a List on my managed bean. It has 50 records.
I am displaying the first 10 records and need to implement paging.
I hear that there is a faces taglibrary called tomahawk which provides a <t:dataTable> and a <t:dataScroller> to implement scrolling.
Is there a sample implentation that I can take a look at to see how I can solve my problem??
