Need Help on JSP Radio Buttons please

How do i create radio buttons on a HTML file to link to other JSPs??
do i have statements in my HTML that gets a JSP i.e option and then that runs the links to the other pages?

Hi ..kinda new to java and jsp , worked with abit ...
I have a problem have to solve. I have 2 jsp pages..one is for header displays a picture at top and has four radio buttons choices. Then at bottom of window is other jsp this jsp displays the result of whatever is choosen fromt he four buttons at top in the other frame from 1st jsp.
I kinda have part of answer from your post about onclick. But how do i pass a value from the 1st jsp to the 2nd. jsp. There is some code in the second page that displays certian pages depending on what the value is from the four radio buttons.

Need help placing a like button on my site.

I have managed to put a like button on my site, but now i have the next problem. If you look on my site

You will see the facebook like buttons hanging on the left side of the page. I really want to place the button on the right side..next to the black buton with the text "mijn portfolio".

in my form I have 4 Radio Buttons:
1. Married
2. Single
3. Divorced
4. Widowed
(only one can be checked ... )
now, there are following 6 input fields regarding the spouse.(like: name, family name etc....)
im looking for script that all all other 6 fields regarding the spouse will be invisible. BUT if user checked:married, (only Married) all other 6 fields will become,ready for input + required.

Have you tried to create 4 radio buttons all with the same name but different "Export" values and observed what happens when you check each button?
You can see the value of the radio button group if you use the JavaScript console.
Assuming you have named the radio buttons "Marital Status" then you can use the following code in the JavaScript console to observe the value available to JavaScript:

You then need to decide with what action to use to test the value of the radio button group and adjust the fields as needed.
Since you will be using the same script for all radio buttons, I would suggest using a document level function to manipulate the spouse's fields. I would also use a hierarchical field name for the fields. Prefix all the spouse's field with "Spouse.".
You then could use the following document level function in the "Mouse Up" action for each of the buttons:

Help me with Radio Buttons and Subform fields, please!

I've built a dynamic order form with three product options listed as radio buttons. The three options are "Contoured" "Standard" and "Custom". "Contoured" requires five subfields to be filled in if it is selected. "Standard" requires two subfields to be filled in if it is selected. "Custom" has no associated subfields.
My problem is that I can't figure out a script that isolates the subfields to the appropriate radio buttons. Can anyone suggest a script to use?

Brian, to understand what I did, I will first explain my hierarchy.
RBList has 3 radio buttons: A, B, C. Specify the Item Value for each Radio button, e.g. A=1, B=2, C=3. For radio button A, create 2 dropdown lists & 3 numeric fields and wrap in a subform called SubA - ensure you leave it as Visible presence. For radio button B, create 1 dropdown & 1 numeric, wrap in a subform called SubB, and make sure this is visible. I put my code on the subforms (SubA and SubB) rather than the radio buttons. Also, in order for the layout to be saved in Reader, if you want to save and reopen, you must use the script on the Calculate event. The Click event will not save the layout for you (learnt this from past experience in Designer 7.2 Designer 8 saves layout different again). The event Calculates the function as soon as you open up the file.
Using JavaScript on the Calculate event, on the SubA subform would look like this:

Help: Need to calculate a radio button when selected or not selected

I am hoping its possible to use a script to calculate a radio button when it is selected. For example:
My form has 4 grouped radio buttons (Radio Button 1-4) of 5 buttons.
So its something like this:
     Level 1     Level 2     Level 3     Level 4     Level 5

2.   RB2          RB2            RB2           RB2         RB2

Items areas total:               Total Points:               Average Score:
The buttons already have different values set for each button to calculate a score in the "Total Points" text field. (Level 1 scores 1, Level 2 scores 2, etc.)
I would like to have the "Items areas total" text field to calculate either a value of 1 if selected or a 0 if not selected. So if 3 of the 4 rows are selected a return of "3" is calculated, if all 4 rows are selected then it returns "4", etc.
Seems it would be a simple script.

I understand that we can show the selected row in different color.
But still there is a requiremnet given saying that there should be an radio button or Select button or check box (Checked only one at a time of several rows) apart from showing the selected row in a different color.
Current display of the page:
We have three regions, 1> Main region, 2> Master region, 3> Detail region.
Main region has some text parameters, Master region has a adf:table and when ever you select a row on the master region the detail region values are getting refreshed based on the row selected.
Is there any simple way apart from adding a boolean transient attribute to VO and displaying it as one of the column in adf:table?

Hi Harsh,
A better approch would be to create a selection-screen with 15 buttons to start and make invisible other radio buttons that you dont want in the at selection-screen output event.
You can try like below:
parameters: r1 radiobutton group rad1 default 'X',
                    r2 radiobutton group rad1,
                   r15 radiobutton group rad1.
at selection-screen output.
describe table itab lines n.
l_cnt = 15 - n.
do l_cnt times.
n = n+1.
concatenate 'r' n into l_radioname.      <<< n no of radio buttons wanted

screen-invisible = 1.
modify screen.

while i was on google today my iPhone 4 turned off all of a sudden and only turns on with the wall charger i really need my phone so can some please help!!!!! i reseted done alot and still nothing please help!!!

Reset the device by pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears (about 15-20 seconds).
If this does not work, plug the device into a wall outlet for atleast 20 minutes and then try a reset.

Great catch on the aplet and maybe that is where I am going wrong. So let me back up a little and maybe you can get me out of my bind.
Basically what I want for a test app is: a little text box w/ a button. type in an number and click the button.
the button will then send the info to a terminal emulator. (ibm host on demand)
So that is what the 3 include statements where for. I got that from the API example.
so what I really need the page to do is print the list of connections.

I am trying to write a program.. who monitors my external tool.. please check my way of doing it.. as whenever i write programs having thread.. i end up goosy.. :(
first let me tell.. what I want from program.. I have to start an external tool.. on separate thread.. (as it takes some time).. then it takes some arguments(3 arguments).. from file.. so i read the file.. and have to run tool.. continously.. until there are arguments left.. in file.. or.. user has stopped it by pressing STOP button..
I have to put a marker in file too.. so that.. if program started again.. file is read from marker postion.. !!
Hope I make clear.. what am trying to do!!
My approach is like..
1. Have two buttons.. START and STOP on Frame..
START--> pressed
2. check marker("$" sign.. placed in beginning of file during start).. on file..
     read File from marker.. got 3 arg.. pass it to tool.. and run it.. (on separate thread).. put marker.. (for next reading)
     Step 2.. continously..
3. STOP--> pressed
     until last thread.. stops.. keep running the tool.. and when last thread stops.. stop reading any more arguments..
Question is:
1. Should i read file again and again.. ?.. or read it once after "$" sign.. store data in array.. and once stopped pressed.. read file again.. and put marker ("$" sign) at last read line..
2. how should i know when my thread has stopped.. so I start tool again??.. am totally confused.. !!
please modify my approach.. if u find anything odd..

This master.java program will run continuously for days or weeks, each time through the loop starting another slave process which runs for five minutes to up to an hour, which means there may be ten to twenty of these slave processes running simultaneously.
I believe threads is the best way to do this, but I don't know where to locate these slave programs: either inside the master.java program or separate slave.java files? I will need help with either method.

Need Help with new site glitches PLEASE!!!

I need help trouble shooting a website. The site is
www.farrowandwatkins.com. Nav buttons on Mac they display correctly
which is aligned at top and bottom of content to left on Home page.
However, when viewed on PC, the buttons spread to fill the
distance of the "Patients" Page. All the pages spread to this
length also, but are not suppose to.
Nav buttons have padding of 10 on bottom, except last one.
Please help if you can

First guess would be that there doesn't seem to be a fixed

I need help with my wifi sync, please?

I am trying to sync a single band from my laptop to my iPhone. This is my new laptop and I have no transfered all my music from my old computer onto here, so I can not sync through the cable or else I will have to remove all my exsisting information on my phone, I do not have all my music on my laptop yet. All I want is to simply transfer a few songs from my iTunes to my phone wirelessly and I can't. I enabled the button when I plug in my phone that tells me I can sync wirelessly but when I disconnect it refuses to work. Please I need help.

Need help with JSP - Session Bean scenario

I have massive problems with a simple JSP <--> Statefull Session Bean scenario with Server Platform Edition 8.2 (build b06-fcs)
What I do is generating a Collection in session bean returning it to JSP
and giving the List back to Session Bean.
A weird exception happens when giving the List back to Session Bean
(see Exception details below)
The same code runs without any trouble on Jboss Application Server 4.0.3
Any help would be great!
