I am new user of Final Cut Studio and the problem that I am running into is with the final version of a dvd I have created.
Situation: I have files imported(Final cut studio) in MP4 format (they look perfect), once im done editing and export to dvd studio pro the files look fuzzy and pixelated. What are the proper settings to stop this from happening?

MP4 is a highly compressed format designed to deliver files over restricted bandwidth media. So yes, file sizes will increase when converted to an editable format.
Whether the file sizes you quote are "accurate" or not, I leave to your judgement.

Are you scanning as jpeg, tiff or some other format?
Are you using continuous numbering for files names as by definition scanned files have no exif data.

What anti-virus software did you install? Although there's a lot of bad anti-virus software out there, no anti-virus software should cause such a problem. A gray screen with a flashing question mark on a folder means that no bootable system could be found, which means that the system was badly damaged or corrupt. Even installing bad software would not normally cause that, so either there was something badly wrong with the system already or the anti-virus software you tried to install was really, really bad!
As mende1 says, you need to reinstall the system at this point. After your system is back up and running, read my Mac Malware Guide. If, after reading that, you want anti-virus software, use one of the programms recommended in that guide.

Need help with correcting the select statement

I have two tables mkt & error.
The fields of mkt are
app_id (xxx)
c_mkt_id
app_mkt_id
The fields of error table are
mkt_id
intr_id (its in format xxx.yyy or xxx)
xyz
abc
pqr
I have to select * fields from error table such that
->mkt.app_id = error.intr_id (here i am using combination of sbstr & instr to get the part before "." if present)
->mkt.c_mkt_id=error.mkt_id
Where ever the above two conditions match i have to replace the mkt_id field in my select * from error table query with the
app_mkt_id field from mkt table. If the above two condtions dont match my select * from error table should return the original mkt_id present in the error table.
I have presently developed a query(*) which selects the app_mkt_id from mkt table where ever the two conditions match.
How should i go about using this to get my actual requirement.

You can try using ROLLUP and GROUPING SETS like how some of the other forum members have suggested. Another way of getting the desired output would be :

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Here the columns 3 to 5 are the attributes of the Child. Lets assume that I have two loads, One Today which goes to the CURRENT table and one yesterday which goes to the PREVIOUS table. Between these two loads there is a CHANGE in the value for Columns either 3/4/5 or all of them(doesnt matter if one or all).
I want to determine what properties for the child have changed with the help of a MOST efficient SQL query.(PARENT+CHILD is unique key). The Database is ofcourse ORACLE.

Please don't do that: it's confusing.
Earlier replies give you the information you want, with one row of output (maximum) per row in current_tbl. There may be 1, 2 or 3 changes on a row.
You just have to unpivot that data to get one row for every change, like this:

Need help with changing the name.

I got my palm pre from an uncle who lives in the states. The problem is I can't call tech support to ask them because I live in belize. The proble I have with my pre is that I have added my email account to the phone, but when I send an email, they receive it in my uncles name, my name is lanny and they receive an email form cesar, I think you can see where the problem lies. Is there anyway I can change it to my name? Please help!

I would create a new Palm Profile. To do this you will need to go to the Device Info app, Reset Options, then select Full Erase. All pictures, videos, and anything else stored in the USB side of the device will be erased. I recommend that if you want to keep any of that to connect your device to a computer then click and drag everything you want to keep off of the device and onto your computer.
After you perform the Full Erase the device is going to reboot. It is going to come up with a screen to sign in to a Palm Profile or Create a New Palm Profile. NOTE*** You will need a data connection to do this. Select Create a New Palm Profile and fill in the blanks. Once you are back into the device you can set up your email accounts again and it should display the name you created the Palm Profile with.

Need help with waveform and digital output

Hey everyone,
I am driving a rotational motor with an example waveform output VI and an example digital output VI. I am able to successfully send a square wave with the desired properties to rotate the motor and I am also able to successfully send a digital output (1 or 0) to change its direction (clockwise/couter-clockwise.
However I need some advices to write a setup such that after the motor runs as desired, I can return the motor back to its original position. I think the simplest way is timing how long it takes to finish its task, and just change the digital output, keep the same wave properties and run for the same amount of time.
So how can I time how long the program runs and with some kind of button, change the digital output and run the program again?

As more of a program architecture tip, this sounds like a great time to be using a State Machine. I say this because you mention resetting the motor (one state) then running it again (another state) repeatedly. As a design tip, I would check out this article, along with the Design Pattern Template that comes with LabVIEW. You can find this by going to File >> New... then expanding the tree to VI >> From Template >> Frameworks >> Design Patterns >> Standard State Machine.

I am trying to create a selection of month range (will be in a WITH clause) for a report to display monthly data. But the first month start date can be any date. (Not necessarily the first date of the month)

If you want to generate a Counter Table containing the integers 1 througn x in SQL, you could say

Will be glad if someone can help me to understand the below output from WLC. Actually i want to know the FLASH & RAM size of my WLC so what i did. I run the command '' show memory statistics'' and below is what i have got. Can someone elaborate this

Yes, that value give the RAM size of your WLC.
259112960 bytes valued correlated to ( or 23040 KB or ~248 MB ) dividing by 1024. So I think it is 256MB RAM.
I do not think flash size can be determine by this output.

Need help with changing the product name for a HP LaserJet Pro 401n to use on a ePrint network.

I am in a school environment, naming printers is imortant.
Bonjour Service Name and Device Description name have been changed. IOS7 devices see the Bonjour name but ChromeBooks see the Product name. How can I change the Product name on the printer so that it is then recognized by HP Connected and shown to ChromeBook devices?

You should be able to change the product name in Google Cloud. The ChromeBook uses Google Cloud to print (Google Cloud uses HP ePrint). Log into your google account and change the printer name there.

Need help with disabling the output excution command

hey guys
i'm doing an assignment in which user can input multiple lines. I'm using the scanner class. The problem i'm facing is that when user gives their input in multiple lines then it displays the asking input line even though it doesn't ask for new input because the pervious input stored in the memory. Please help me to disable it somehow. I understand the logic and everything but i can't find a way to disable that line. Here's my code:

The critical part for me, is to display payments not within the date range in 'select expert' statement.
Currenlty my report reflects only payments for FOLDERRSN, where {ACCOUNTBILLFEE.STAMPDATE} in DateTime
(2014, 05, 01, 00, 00, 01) to DateTime (2014, 05, 31, 23, 59, 59) and not other payments outside the date range specified.
