Need help with overcoming the following message: “Nothing was imported. The file(s) or folder(s) selection to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in this catalogue”.
The photos being scanned are old film shots. They have NOT been previously scanned. I am using Photoshop Elements 9 software.
QUESTION: how do I override this STOP and or circumvent the photo comparison option????

Are you scanning as jpeg, tiff or some other format?
Are you using continuous numbering for files names as by definition scanned files have no exif data.

I have an old iPhone 3Gs with software version 4.3.5, I am trying to use it again, and it works fine, but I have not been able to update the software. Every time I try, I get the following message:
"there was a problem downloading the software for the iPhone, the network connection could not be established". This happens even though I have a working internet connection.
Besides that, all the other functions work properly, even synchronize apps and library.

Can someone help. I use Photoshop Elements 13. I can no longer save edited photos. get messages - "Nothing was imported" "The file or folders selected to import did not contain supported file type. What anti-virus software did you install? Although there's a lot of bad anti-virus software out there, no anti-virus software should cause such a problem. A gray screen with a flashing question mark on a folder means that no bootable system could be found, which means that the system was badly damaged or corrupt. Even installing bad software would not normally cause that, so either there was something badly wrong with the system already or the anti-virus software you tried to install was really, really bad!
As mende1 says, you need to reinstall the system at this point. After your system is back up and running, read my Mac Malware Guide. If, after reading that, you want anti-virus software, use one of the programms recommended in that guide. -

I just purchased GarageBand 10.0.3 last week and I repeatedly keep getting the following message when I try to download ANY of the FREE Piano lessons in the "Lesson Store", "Garageband was not able to install the new sounds. Close and re-open Garageband to download and install them again." I have tried EVERY suggestion that I have come across on the internet and nothing is working! If I'd known I would encounter this issue, I would not have paid for this. Tried restarting, rebooting, reinstalling, deleting the cache, and on the verge of just reinstalling the OS. I have come across people have the same issue for months and I can't believe Apple has not offered a fix or update or anything.Immargarita, Since you just purchased the software you qualify for a no charge one on one at an Apple store. They never could tell me what was wrong, but after three visits and not one dime, all lessons downloaded at the store. I was not going home until it worked.
Hint, hint, I had just upgraded OX when the problem started. So... I qualified for tech support. I forgot to get my none working since the up grade Photoshop fixed. Some Java component can't be found and just like GB, the link to Apple for support does not work. I have the good old PS disc. I'm not happy with this cloud stuff.
When you call and give the SN for your computer, they may say it will cost $29.00 dollars for one time support. Instead choose a different prompt, tell the human being what your problem is and set up a visit to the Apple store. BTW, no one at the store seemed to have heard of this issue.
The techie just started the download and ran the activity monitor. The download stopped once. Then he continued it and everything is there now.
Shame on you Apple.

I am unable to import all photos to IPhoto on computer. At a certain photo the following message appears: IPhoto cannot import your photos
because there was a problem downloading an image. How can I circumvent this particular image and import all other photos?I'm having the same issue. i have imported everything but the offending photo from my iPhone. problem is, with over 5000 pics, i have no idea how to find THAT ONE pic that won't import (bc I just get a greyed out pic image - with no data in iPhoto)
any idea how to get "date taken" info of THAT ONE pic out of iPhoto (or any metadata) so I don't have to search 3 years of pictures?

I'm having a problem. When I try to import images ( directly off my camera - Canon G15 ) it appears the files are being transferred but I get this message saying " Nothing was imported. The file(s) or folder(s) selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in this catalog." "Reason: the file is damaged or is in a format that cannot be included in Elements Organizer". I've never had happen before, in fact, photos from my Canon 5D Mk 2 download into Organizer as they should. I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, PSE 11. My photos are in RAW ( CR2 ) format. Movies from the G15 are in MOV format and they imported OK, only the photos are not. I had a problem with my computer a month ago & Windows was reinstalled. Prior to this time I've never had a problem importing files. Tried reinstalling Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements but that didn't help. My software is up to date, I have ACR 7.4. My logic in prepareForDML() updates some attributes (shown in the snippet below) based on whether an insert or update is taking place. But, when I delete a line, I get the following error: JBO-27101: Attempt to access dead entity in EO. So far, I have not been able to catch this error.

Thanks for responding. Whenever I delete a line and commit, I get the error. And, since inserts and updates are all that I am interested in, I did not think that I needed deletion logic. The VO contains several EOs, but all are reference EOs that cannot be updated except for the main EO.

I have two table, CURRENT and PREVIOUS.(Table Defs below).
CURRENT:
Column1 - CURR_PARENT
Column2 - CURR_CHILD
Column3 - CURR_CHILD_ATTRIBUTE 1
Column4 - CURR_CHILD_ATTRIBUTE 2
Column5 - CURR_CHILD_ATTRIBUTE 3
PREVIOUS:
Column1 - PREV_PARENT
Column2 - PREV_CHILD
Column3 - PREV_CHILD_ATTRIBUTE 1
Column4 - PREV_CHILD_ATTRIBUTE 2
Column5 - PREV_CHILD_ATTRIBUTE 3
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Here the columns 3 to 5 are the attributes of the Child. Lets assume that I have two loads, One Today which goes to the CURRENT table and one yesterday which goes to the PREVIOUS table. Between these two loads there is a CHANGE in the value for Columns either 3/4/5 or all of them(doesnt matter if one or all).
I want to determine what properties for the child have changed with the help of a MOST efficient SQL query.(PARENT+CHILD is unique key). The Database is ofcourse ORACLE.

Earlier replies give you the information you want, with one row of output (maximum) per row in current_tbl. There may be 1, 2 or 3 changes on a row.
You just have to unpivot that data to get one row for every change, like this:

I am kinda new to creating JAR files for application. I checked out the tutorials for creating the jar files, and I understood most of the concepts. There is one part in the tutorial which I still don't understand
it says:
We want to execute the main method in the class MyClass in the package MyPackage when we run the JAR file.
We first create a text file named Manifest.txt with the following contents:
Main-Class: MyPackage.MyClass
I am not exactly sure what the package is. Is it the name of the jar file, which I wish to create? Your detailed explanation would certainly be helpful. Thank you in advance.
