Urgency means two things:
- either your homework is late (do it yourself)
- or you have a deadline on your job (ask a co-worker)
Both isn't really making me want to answer your question. Your time isn't more valuable than that of the others.
And the big question is probably not "how to write the Java code" but "how to make a MySQL dump", Java or not. RTFM for that, and then use either MySQL or Runtime.exec.

Hi Gregg,
You can create one transformation from the DataStore to itself. In the "Technical" rules group, set 0RECORDMODE = 'X' (before image) or 'R' (reverse). Therefore, when you execute its corresponding DTP, all existing records shouldl be set to zero.
Then, as a second step, you can execute the DTP which is related to the transformation between the DataStore and the DataSource, thus loading the new records.

We have a requirement to retrieve the uniquemember attribute values using OID 11g API. We are using labeleduri approach for dynamic groups and thus all the uniquemember values are created using dynamic groups.
When we are trying to retrieve the uniquemember values using Java code snippet, it is not returning the values. The strange thing is: The uniquemember values created using dynamic groups are not visible in ODSM OID console or JExplorer tool. However those values are visible in LDAP Browser v2.8.1 tool.
So can somebody throw light on this? Any pointers or sample code snippet to retrieve uniquemember values would be grateful.

Export java code out of database? difference between Prod and Test

Hi all,
I'm a seasoned DBA, but I have never really dealt with Java, so this is all new to me. Within one of my test databases (10.2.0.3.0), I have a database package - within the package is a procedure that has this Java call:

This Java code goes and exports a file to .xml format. The basic problem is that in our Test environment, there is a problem in the xml file that gets generated - the second line is missing the first few characters. However, in all of our other environments, including Production and Validation, it all works fine - the xml file is good. What has me confused, is that we've done several database refreshes, where we export from production, then import it down to test. So from everything I'm looking at, the schema is exactly the same - but something is different, causing the issue in the xml file that is being generated. I was wondering if I could get into the database and export the Java code, then that is something where I could confirm if there's a difference or not, from Prod to Test.
Does anyone have any input/feedback on how to do this? I've been googling, and tried several methods, including dbms_metadata.get_ddl, and DBMS_JAVA.EXPORT_SOURCE, but I can't get anything to work.
Or if anyone has any other thoughts on how to debug/troubleshoot this, I'd appreciate any ideas!!

Button Actions in templatepage and normal pages

I am usig ADF components with JDeveloper 11g. I placed the two Command Buttons named BUTTON1 and BUTTON2 in a Template page to perform two differnt actions. I created the page with that template and placed some inputfield components and Command Button named SUBMIT with some validations. When I click the buttons(BUTTON1 and BUTTON2) which are placed in the template validations are performing. I dont want to perform the validations whin i clic BUTTON1 and BUTTON2. I want validations to perform only when SUBMIIT button is clicked.

Sounds like you may want to set immediate=true on the 2 template buttons.

Complete action using popup and call button in text message

I hate to have my first post a rant, but after my phone updated to jellybean (in which it didn't even ask if I wanted to update, which I find rude) there's two major annoyances I have. One, the "complete action using" popup takes an extra click to get thru, there's no more check box, just two buttons asking for "all the time" or "just once". Two, while writing a text message in landscape, there's now a "call" button right next to my back button. It used to be some kind of info button, and if I missed click (which happens often) it would just bring up additional info. Now, while I'm trying to go back to my list of text messages, I keep calling people.
Is there any way to revert these back through some kind of settings? Thanks for any info.
P.S. The notifications bar is ugly now too, it's too drab in color, can I change that?

No, you can't reverse the OS system update. Most of users with your phone model have been very impatient to get this update.

With this dialog, you select the preferred option and then touch "all the time" to have that action always complete in that manner. You won't see the pop-up again for that particular action unless you clear the defaults.
