You can easily get it by mathematical function ABS .

Function Module to Lock a Variant or see variant values in Disabled mode?

Hi,
I have a requirement in which I create some jobs which takes some variant as one of the input.
My Problem is once i have executed the job successfully in SM37, I need to see the variant values. I know there is a function Module RS_VARIANT_CHANGE with which we can see the values of variant.
But i dont want the user to modify those values since the job has already been executed. I just want to see them.
Can anyone tell me is there any FM to see just the variant values in disabled mode or the the variant is locked so that the user cant modify it?

I'm not sure if you really want to create a program to see the variant values?
Because you can see the values by simply going to SM37, select the job, display list of steps, position cursor and use menu Goto -> Variant
Moreover, (I don't know if it may answer your requirement) when you schedule a job with a report which outputs an ABAP list, you may define in the print parameters the option "Selection cover sheet" to print the values of selection screen parameters/select-options.

I am writing a code where I need to to find another date
based on a key date and and an interval.
Is there any function module where I pass the date and the interval
(say 30) and it gives me a new date after subtracting 30 from it.
Or is there any piece of code which does it?

Is there any Function Module will give the Transactional data of a cube?

I have one Infocube Zco3_BILT , I need to write a routine (BADI Program)on top of this info cube to fetch a characterstic value in the infocube.
F table & Etable wont give any characterstic values.
Is There any SAP provided FM to give characterstic values of the Infocube.

Hi Mohan,
this is correct since the values are stored in different tables (fact, dimension etc) due to star sheme modelling. As far as I know there is no standard function module for this issue.
However ABAP report RSDD_SHOW_ICUBE might help. This is the report for transaction listcube, all relevant data is build up, there you should find all necessary steps and standard reports/modules to fetch the required characteristic value. Although I do not know the exact requirement you will probably have to work with SID values.
Perhaps this will help resolving your issue.

Need Help with Function Module or BAPI for Stock Requirements & PIRs

Hello,
         I am working on making changes to a Report which should be displaying the PIR (Planned Independant Requirements) Quantities as well as Stock Requirements for SOs & STOs for below Type of Materials for the Given Date.
1. Planning Materials
2. Planned SKUs (that is Materials which do not have a Planning Material attached to them).
        In the Current Logic, we are using an FM REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION which fetches the Requirements only for the Planning Materials. It does not work for Planned SKUs.
So, is there any Function Module / BAPI which serves this Purpose for both types of Materisls?
   Also, I've managed to Find out two Function Modules which I thought might be useful but still need confirmation regarding the same.
MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API and
BAPI_MATERIAL_MRP_LIST
        Please suggest any other FM if available for this Requirement.

Basically, here is what my scenario is. I have two Types of Materials which have a Planning Material attached to it. and the Other Category is that it doesn't have a Planning Material attached to it. So, we call it a Planned SKU. That is a Material planned at the SKU level.
          Now, the Issue is , the Function Module REQUIREMENTS_ALLOCATION doesn't work for the Plannd SKUs but it only works for the Planning Material. Now, based on this Function Module, we are populating the Data for the Planning Materials of Material Type ZPLN. Similarly, is there any we can make this FM work for a Material which is planning at its own Level.
          Please help me in this Regard.

Is there a Function Module that gives a given year and month's inventory ?

Hi!
I want to asked whether a function module exists that gives the inventory value in a given storage location for a given plant at the end of a given month of a year .
For example : I have a plan "2000" and a storage location "2001" and for the material "X" I want to learn the closing inventory of material X , say, at the end of January of 2004 or February of 2006 ?

Dunning FPVA/FPVB : Need UserExit Event Function Module

Hi Guys,
I need to develop an enhancement in dunning activity. In which custom function module will be triggered in a dunning activity to check if among the dunned items.
This custom function module must have table T_DFKKOP filled with open items from the contract account been dunned.
I found one event i.e. 311. But I am not sure of its use and when it wil be called.

Goto SE80 Transaction and use Program name for corresponding Transaction Use Find operation like Call Function .. then you will get list of FM ..
