Hi,
I m getting this error on deployment of EAR file using ejb on oracle10g application server 10.1.2. can any body help.

oracle.oc4j.admin.internal.DeployerException: Unknown assembly root-tag attribute: xmlns 10.1.2 is J2EE 1.3 compatible and therefore does not support the use of XSD in deployment descriptors.
I would guess this is the cause of the problem you are seeing -- you need to use the DTD approach in deployment descriptors when deploying to 10.1.2.
If you need J2EE 1.4 support then use 10.1.3.

1. Missing SIDS : Mostly occurs due to missing master data or if error records are parked and not loaded susequently, or if Master data is not loaded before loading Transaction data. You need to fix these situations.
2. Missing Idocs -Canbe due to idocs getting stuck, rfc connection failures, bad idocs, partner profies missing or deactivated. need to correct these errors on the source side.
3.Source system errors - Jobs on source system failed or are slow.idoc errors. Source system crashing. Problems in generic extractions. Problems with update jobs. Data not getting posted to Delta queues. Data not coming through correctly after DS enhancement. Data posting errors to infostructures are some of the errors you'll face on the source system side.
4. Missing messages again can be due to jobs being slow, processes being killed, or warning messages. Need to treat the warning messages or reset the job.
5. Can be due to IDOC errors. Goto SM58 and push data packets from there on the source system side or due to IDOC errors.
6. Same as 3.

What is the solution for this ERROR Message

In the morning hrs on every monday, we have following error's in out log files. Then we manually start the DB with SQL Scripts....any solution to this error.....
ORA-01519: error while processing file '?/rdbms/admin/sql.bsq' near line 2943
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
ORA-00980: synonym translation is no longer valid
Error 1519 happened during db open, shutting down database

ORA-01519: error while processing file 'string' near line string
Cause: CREATE DATABASE encountered a problem while processing specified file. The specified file is bad.
Action: Retry your system installation procedure or contact your customer support representative.
Don't understand, did you want to create a database or just start it ?

thanks to your suggestions i could solve most of the problems i faced. i get this error, could someone help me with it.

Message no. RSAR137
Diagnosis
An error occurred in record 1 during execution ofconversion exit CONVERSION_EXIT_CUNIT_INPUT for field /BIC/UNITQ40.
Procedure
Check that the record where the error occurred has the correct format, and correct it accordingly.

it's happened that value in your characteristics unitq40 not valid, it can be the value not exist in 0unit master data, try to solve this with
- check the monitoring for detail, the invalid value, e.g EA
- transaction se16, table t006a, check this value may not exist here
- logon r/3 side, check if this value exist in table t006a, if so do transfer global setting with use rsa1->source system->right click r/3 source system->'transfer global setting', mark 'unit of measurements' and choose option 'update table'->execute
- if the value also not exist in r/3 then you need to maintain with transaction cuni

I wonder if anyone can help me with a Captivate issue: I just upgraded to 5.5 - when I try to insert a video slide I get an error "seek encountered an internal error". The video is a 35.3 MB flv file.

Required Solution to this error.

In our application we are encountering this error.
The application is residing in HTTPS (secure layer).
Application was developed in Java.
Database is Oracle.
Servers are running in UNIX environment.
Problem is uploading of .pdf files is working fine and
while downloading that file we are getting this problem on
our Internet Explorer 6.0.2SP2
"Internet Explorer was not able to Open this site. The request site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later"
If we set browser IE internet options to "Restore defaults" it is working fine.
How to handle this through code. Can anyone tell the solution or tell the root cause why this exception is occurring.

I have 3 tables 1)PREVILEGES (groupname, previleges(values y or n only))
2)GROUPS (groupid, groupname)
3) USERS (uname, groupname).
Here each user belongs to one group, each user hav a default previlege means example if user is consutant then he can access only consultant group. Means default previlege will be used. For default previleges, there is no record in Previleges table.
The Problem is that, I need to reterive the groupname from users which de doesn't belong as well as his previleges from previleges, If there is no values in previleges in the table it should return n. or value what is therey.
