Need Suggestion to Stage Process Order related data

Hi All,
Could anybody help me by providing the solution or suggestion for the problem which I am describing here. The problem is like to stage the process order related data (which are downloaded from SAP ECC for sending to machine data base or confirmed by machine data base which will be sent to SAP ECC) can we use NetWeaver Data Base by creating separate tables or by creating separate schema in NetWeaver DB or we will go for separate DB to stage all transactional data of Process Order.
Thanks in Advance.
Chandan

Hello Chandan,
1) Yes you can use underlying Netweaver DB either by creating new tables or by creating new schema but as per MII best practices it is Not Recommended because by mistake you might end up affecting the NW and MII configurations
2) There is no hard and fast rule saying you must stage Data but it is very good if you do it because,
                       a) Your data will be buffered when SAP is down
                       b) Faster processing
                       c) Ability to perform more analysis on data through many drill downs to sub-levels
3) I would recommend going for a separate DB to stage all your SAP Data (both for sending or receiving data from ECC)
Hope this helps!!

  • Process order confirmation date

    Hi all,
I am making a Zreport in PP along with the ABAPER for my client. In the report output there is one column named as "Actual finish date" which as the name suggests is the process order finished date for confirmation.
For this I am using "GLTRIactual finish date" field from AFKO table. But in this table many of the process orders are showing the date as "00:00:0000" even though the process order is confirmed & in the order header some value for actual finish date field-GLTRI is there.
When i see the same order in S021 the same field shows some date value.
Since some ABAP coding is done I want to use only AFKO & not S021.
Can any body help me to solve the problem of GLTRI not getting updated in AFKO.

    Dear Vishal,
    Thanks for ur answer.
I have already rewarded for the same.
I will like to know that wheather it is only "closed" OR "TECO" will also update GLTRI in the table..

  • Processing oracle relational data with hadoop

    hello every body:
i would like if it possible to process oracle relational data with hadoop in order to get better performance
native parallel processing in oracle VS hadoop processing? who is the better?
    how can we do it?
    thank you at advance

    Hello,
This is the Oracle NoSQL Database forum. You asked about Oracle Database so you may want to try that forum instead of this one. I suggest that you ask about "In-Database Map/Reduce".

After loading the data from original table to archived table i will truncating the original table.
If my original table is partitioned then what about the restoring of the data??? how will restore the data of last month???

  • Process order release date as batch manufacturing date

    Hi All,
We have automatic batch creation during the release of the process order. Now the requirement is that proess order release date should be updated as Batch manufacturing date in the corresponding Batch data (MSC3N). How this can be done.
    Regards
    Vinamrath

    Hi Vinamrath,
Hope your proess order release date and the batch creation date are same.
In such case go to txn CT04 (create Characteristic) and create a  Characteristic say  "Batch manufacturing date". Then in the tab Addnl data maintain the table name as "MCH1 or MCHA" and Field name as "ERSDA" (created on-this is the batch creation date).
In case your  proess order release date and the batch creation date are not same, then there is a field called " HSDAT" -date of manufacture.you can maintain this field name in addnl data.
Maintain this Characteristic in classification (CL02)
Then this will get updated in the batch and same can be viewed in MSC3N

  • Process Order Scheduling dates.........

    Hi there,
For the process order where we can do the configuarion in SPRO so that the opreation starts on the basis of earlier dates or the latest dates...
    Thanks
    Kaushik

Using OPUZ transaction you can Specify Scheduling parameters to operations in the Process Orders.
Use the following path via SPRO
Production Planning for Process Industries --> Process Order --> Operations -->Scheduling --> Specify Scheduling Parameters
    Specify Scheduling Parameters
In this step you define the parameters for scheduling process orders for
each plant, order type and production scheduler. It comprises
        maintenance of
        o   scheduling levels (detailed-, production-rate and rough-cut
            scheduling)
o   date adjustment when deadlines are exceeded
o   scheduling control for detailed scheduling
        o   reduction
    Hope this helps you.

  • Issue in passing process order related to order type ZGP9.

    Hi Experts,
There has been a development done in CIF user exit to block process orders having order type ZGPD & ZGP7. But we are also facing issue for process order flow for order type ZGP9.
    1. To avoid double counting of Depack orders (order type ZGPD) in actual production key figure of SCIPIO, stop sending actual production for order types ZGPD from P1 to SCIPIO.
    2. To block Rework (ZGP7) and De-pack (ZGPD) Process order in CIF from SCIPIO end, Add one extra field in Custom Structure CI_ORDCUS which transfers Process Orders to APO. This field will capture "Order Type" for Process Orders and send it to APO.
could any body suggest me why the issue is coming for process order ZGP9.

    Hi Venkat,
    1) Check whether the user exit is implemented properly
    2) Check whether the process order showing ZFGP9 is
    created recently?
    3) Archive that process order and try creating a manual
process order and check.   If still error persists, use an
abapper to check which table is calling that order type
    and accordingly you can proceed.

  • Why settlement is needed after confirming production/Process orders?

    Hi,
    PP Gurus.
After cnfming any Prod.order what is the convention of giving TECO status to complete the order. why it needs to settle errors in COGI, why we have to do settlement of prod. Order.?
    Pls guide me.......
    yogesh thorat......

    Dear,
If TECO is done..we can not post any planned goos issue to order, practically we are annoucing that it can be settled. Hence if TECO partically it is finished from Production side, hence to be proceed on overhead calculation, variance calculation, settlement.
In COGI, we have error goods movements for that order, hence production people are expcted to finish all the component issue and GR, so that we can announce finance that we are completed.
    Why settlement required?
Let us say the std cost of product is 10 USD. But after the production the actual cost of production is say 12 USD. It will remain in the production order. Now this has to be booked again either the product or against a variuance cost centre, so that from the variance cost centre we can book it to different cost centres.
Hence during the settlement if the material price control is V, then the difference cost i.e. in our example  2USD will be chared to material GL a/c during settlement.
If the price control is S, then the difference cost of 2/USD will be charged to variance GL a/c which is assigned to a variance cost center. This variance cost centre is zeroed out depending on the business rule.
Hence at the end of settlement, the production order net value is ZERO.
please come back if you need help.

  • Process Order Details like batch number, mfg date flow to a new process ord

    Hi Experts,
I have a doubt in Process Order.
    I have two stage production.
    1. Blending
    2. Packing
I create a process order for blending and assign a batch number and manufacturing date for Blending operation.
    Release the process order.
Final Confirmation of the process order.
I complete all the process, Goods Reciept is done.
    Technically completed the Process Order.
Now my 1st stage Process order is completed and ready for the 2nd stage production i.e., Packing.
Now I create a new process order,
here I am having the problem that I need to enter all the details like batch number, manufacturing date etc..
I want to avoid this in the 2nd process order.
How to do this i.e., carry forwarding the details of the 1st process order into the 2nd process order.
Is there any setting required at the back end?
I was told about Push operation to rectify the above problem. But I am not clear about that.
Can any one clearly explain about that step- by - step.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Get Process Order List Based on Date Range and Order Status

    Hi all,
Iam using BAPI_PROCORD_GET_LIST to get the entire list of Process Orders based on selection criteria as plant. However I have noticed that there's no selection option to get records between start and finish times neither does any option exists to get only the released or open orders.
To filter records based on Start Date/Finish date or get records with specific status, we need to get the entire list of records that exists for a plant and then use repeater/condition action to filter the same. Fetching the complete list and then filtering is an overhead. Does anyone know a solution to this or does anyone have been in this situation ? Is there any other BAPI that supports the filter criteria to get open/released orders from SAP. Do we need to modify the BAPI to include Process Order start date and end date or System status as selection options ?
    Appreciate your help !
    Regards,
    Gilmour

    Hi Gilmour
I would say you have 2 options here..
    1. Create a new RFC with the search params as you want them. Write the logic accordingly.
    2. Use the Enterprise services for Production Order where you can say you want Process Orders. The Service that has Planned Start Date and End Date along with Status is ProductionOrderSimpleByElementsQuery_sync. See Link [here|http://esworkplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZkPW1pbg==)/render.asp?id=D507C16176BE11DA36BB000F20DAC9EF&fragID=&packageid=DE0426DD9B0249F19515001A64D3F462&iv=]
This service is available from ECC 600 onwards.
You can call the Enterprise Services using the Web Service Action block.

  • Order Related Inter Company configuration required

    Hi,
Can anybody tell me what all customization need to be done for order related intercompany billing?
I gone through with OSS note 63549 but still not clear.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    SATYA

    Hi,
As to the intercompany sales process, you should have the following configuration:
    1. If you need to use the intercompany billing document, billing type IV must be maintained and assigned to the relevant sales document types
    2. Output type RD04 is used to enable intercompany billing to carry out posting to vendor account or invoice entry. In the standard system, billing type IV is assigned to output procedure V40000, which contains this output type. For information on setting up intercompany billing, see the online implementation Guide. Billing type IG is used for internal credit memos.
    3. For condition records used in intercompany sales processing, one of the following condition types must be maintained:
    * PI01 (fixed amount per material unit)
    * PI02 (percentage of the net invoice amount)
    4. Permissible combinations of plant and sales organization must be defined
5.Sales area data (sales organization, distribution channel, and division) must be assigned to each plant that participates in intercompany sales processing
    6. You must also create the following Sales master data:
    7. A customer master record for intercompany billing; this must be assigned to the ordering company code.
    8. Condition records for intercompany billing for every permissible combination of plant and sales organization
Beside these configurations, you should also define the G/L account number for intercompany sales processing.
    Hope can help you!
    Good day

  • Process order( batch key configuration)

I need to create the process order by copying from already created order of order type Zi10 .It gives a message " BATCH SPLIT DEVIATION"
This functionn is happening perfectly for other order types like  Pi01 and Zi06 .
I also noted that in item overview of order, Batch Key is populating as X for Pi01 and Zi06 order types and no message appears ,but for order type ZI10  Batch Key value appearing is 1 or 2  and we are getting message "BATCH SPLIT DEVIATION"
I m not able to figure out where the config change for batch key is to be done.

    Hi Sachin,
I have tested it and it seems to be no relation with Order type.
Problem is during Creation of new Order Batch Determination which was already done in earlier Order is also gets copy in new order.
But due to Non avaibility of Stock in same Batch system will throw this massage.
    For example
    I Had Already created Order
Order No. 1100000510 and order type is C002 and order qty is 23809.
One of the component is 100000028 and Required qty is 9 kg.And for this component Batch Determination carried out
And the Batch Determination is like this
Batch No. is A0RM800046 and available stock of that Batch is 9.925.
Now I am creating new Order by copying order no. 110000510 but order type is c001 and order qty is 119045.
and during order creation System throws a massage same as you got,
    Batch split deviation 95.856-% for 100000028. Required =             0.375
    KG, allocated = 9.050
        Message no. CO583
    Diagnosis
The total requirements quantities in the batch split records plus the
unassigned requirements quantities in the batch totals record is larger
or smaller than the original requirements quantity for component
100000028. The requirement equals             0.375 KG, the total batch
        split quantity is 9.050.
    System Response
The system will execute your change as requested.
    Procedure
Check that you want this variance and that it is correct. For example,
So the solution is correct the Batch Determination or do Read Master data once you create the order by copy.Massage will removed.

    Dhaval
