Need to add jpg image file to flash file

Dear All,
I am new to flash. I have one flash file in which I want to show some images in a slide show way at start of the flash file.
Please let me know the step by step if possible.
Thanks

You're not likely to get a step by step created just for you here, but there are probably plenty of folks that have already done that for you elsewhere.  Try searching Google for "Flash slideshow tutorial" or if you plan to make it actionscript controlled, use "AS# slideshow tutorial" where you substitute 2 or 3 for # depending on which version of actionscript you want to use.
If your title has any bearing on what you really need to know, then in the File menu select Import, select between the cjoices offered, and select the file from the directory search interface that appears.

    Thanks for your response.  My profiles are located within color sync utility as you can see here:
    These profiles do not respond to clicking and dragging.  Since they are all in one place, more or less, I'm reluctant to make further attempts to relocate them.  Accessing the CMYK profile is the first difficult experience I've encountered with this arrangement.  I have never needed the CMYK profile until recently, and that need has now past.  However, it remains a mystery to me as to why it does not appear with all the others on the menu of export choices in Aperture 2, or on the menu of profile assignment choices in the Preview application (where again all the other profiles are listed as choices).  I'm beginning to think my current set up will permit me to view an image that was created in CMYK space, but does not easily assign, or convert to that space.  I don't face these restrictions with all the others, so it remains a curious circumstance for me.  I anticipate upgrading my computer and software in the near future which might alleviate this issue altogether.  Again, many thanks for your attention to this matter.  The reach of this community is astounding.

  • Want to convert  tif image file into jpg image file , pls help me

    hey coders, i want to convert a tif image file into a jpg image file , can u all help in this

    In it's simplest form, it's two lines of code.
    BufferedImage bi = ImageIO.read(/*the tif file*/);
    ImageIO.write(bi,"jpeg",/*output file*/);Though, you need to install [JAI-ImageIO|https://jai-imageio.dev.java.net/binary-builds.html] read the tif file into a BufferedImage.

    ResultSet rs2=dbBean.getSQLRows("select binarycontent from ContentVersion where contentindex="+IndexValue+"");
    byte[] bTempData_content=new byte[65536];
    while(rs2.next()){
    File f = new File("c:\\ReArchive\\test_content.tiff");
    f_content.delete();
    f_content.createNewFile();
    FileOutputStream dest_contentVersion = new FileOutputStream(f_content);
    while(rs2.next()){
    InputStream is_content=rs2.getBinaryStream("Binarycontent");
    nActualRead_content=is.read(bTempData_content,0,65536);
    while(nActualRead_content>0)

  • Need help finding moved image files

    How would I find files after they have been moved? I travel and use a MB Pro laptop. The workflow I'm using is to download images to my desktop, review, rate and add keywords immediately. I make 2 backups, 1 to portable data store hard drive and one to DVD. Then every few days I erase the desktop image files. When I arrive home I download the entire trip's images from the portable storage to my desktop drives (2 500Gb SATA drives).
    Is there an easy way to direct Aperture to look for the files in the new location? Or, failing that, is there a better way to work? I regularly have 40 - 60 Gb of images after a trip and the laptop hard drive is inadequate for the task.

    The question isn't really clear to me yet. If you know what "the new location" is, then it's easy to make Aperture point to it. But that may not be the question. I think you may need to describe your workflow in more detail.
    You don't say how to review etc images on the MBP. If you're using Aperture, it must be with a library. Are you using Managed images there? So is the problem how to transfer data -- images and edits and metadata -- from the library on the MBP to the library (with referenced images??) on the desktop?
    Synchronizing libraries is not something Apple makes easy or offers any real help with. The best way to do it turns out to be to export one project at a time, connect to the other machine and its library, and import the projects. (In the process you might also Relocate images to make them referenced.)
    But your note about the laptop drive being to small is confusing. I don't see where your images are when you're on the road.

  • How do I add an image file to a library?

    Hi,
    My project requires files (normally in the form of JPEGs and PDFs) to be added to a library. The file paths are passed into the plug-in via sockets.
    In QuarkXPress we do this by using a hidden document, which is not visible or accessible by the user. Files are placed on the document and then transferred into the library. I can see how to do some of this in InDesign:
    Create a library using - ILibraryCmdUtils::CreateLibraryNewLibCmd()
    Add an item - ILibraryCmdUtils::CreateLibraryAddItemCmd()
    The bit I can't work out is the hidden document. I was hoping that a document could be created as hidden via the INewDocCmdData interface - no joy. I cannot see any reference to hidden documents anywhere in the SDK documentation. Does InDesign have a default one? So I'm wondering if this is the best way to do it.
    Can anybody point me in the right direction? It might be that hidden documents is not the best approach.
    Best regards and thanks in advance.

    Thanks to Dirk's help, I've now got my library code up and running. I can now handle my library through commands from an external source and from any user action. Had a few problems with outstanding bosses, but I've managed to configure the code to prevent this.
    With that out the way my attention has moved back to adding image files to the library via a hidden/headless document. I've written some code that will transfer images from the document to the library using ILibraryCmdUtils::ProcessLibraryAddItemCmd().
    The bit that's giving me problems is the file to document bit. The SDKHelper sample code (function PlaceFileInFrame) shows how this can be done, but there is a snag - I don't want the user to see the document that is used to transfer files to the library. Unfortunately a document UIDRef will not work in IHierarchy as it is not a displayable item.
    Does anyone know of a way this can be done? The user should not see or interact with the document.
    Cheers,

  • How to add an image file in classpath?

    im having problem in my batch file, im having ok output but there's no image or logo in my output pls tell me what can i do to fix this problem?

    Well, going by the question title (since it's hard to understand the body of the question), put the image file in the same directory as the class that picks it up and use getClass().getResource("foo.gif"); to access it.
    e.g.
    ImageIcon image1 = new ImageIcon(getClass().getResource("foo.gif"), "Foo");That will use whatever mechanism is used to access .class files to get the .gif file.

  • I need to change my image file size but keep the same pixels. Possible?

    I'm trying to upload an image to a mobile ad platform (Adfonic) with the following requirements: Image dimensions 216 x 36 pixels; max file size 3.0 kb; file formats supported GIF, JPG, PNG. I figured out how to change the pixel size but now my file is too big. I have Photoshop CS4 Extended & Vista.
    I changed the file resolution but then the pixel size changes. What can I do?
    Thanks!

    Save-As, JPEG offers you a quality slider.  You trade quality for size.  This still wouldn't give you what you needed?
    You could try JPEG 2000, but beware, it's not as compatible with as many things, and it can look kind of weird, but boy does it compress...

  • Pixelated jpg image files

    Muse 7.2, OSX 10.9.2
    I have inline images and a gallery slideshow on a site.  Some of these images are extremely pixelated on the rendered web page.  All the images were sized in Photoshop to the exact pixel dimensions and saved as  saved-for-web jpegs in Photoshop.
    Several of the inline images have been on my site for about a year and only recently appear pixelated.  I'm making some edits to my site but have not touched any of the images that are now pixelated.  Also, I have embedded the links to all images so Muse need not search through my computer for the image source files.
    I did replace one pixelated inline image with the same source file, but with a different file name.  For some reason this image now renders properly.  However this technique did not have any benefit on several images in a slideshow gallery that has both thumbnails and full size image.
    What's your opinion why these images appear pixelated, and what suggestions might overcome the trouble?
    Best regards,
    Tim

    Zak,
    A second thought on pixellated images.  Currently I have overcome the problem by replacing all the affected images with a replacement image (the same original) but using a different file name.  These same images are used elsewhere in the site, but at different sizes.  Likely the file name was the same as the images that became pixellated.
    The odd thing is that other images that have not pixellated have the same treatment.  In several places (pages) the images are the same with the same file name but at a different size.
    I have not made this site active yet but these odd problems have made for lots of extra work to sort out.  You can see this site at:  www.fractalfotos.com/debV3/index.html
    Thanks, Tim

    Sameer

    There is OS command provess available in process chai, but i think you cannot use a command file; you have to use more time OS command with single command each time.
    Hope it helps.

  • User upload of non JPG image files to be then displayed in iScripts

    I am attempting to build a tool for non-technical users to easily create quick link pagelets with icons that point to URLs or Content References. One of the issues I am running into is the image upload PeopleCode commands seem to limit the file type to jpegs. Jpeg do not allow transparent backgrounds which makes it hard to take seals and similar icons and just super impose them over a background. When I looked at the file attachment functions I did not see a way to output a web server URL for image to be included on a page it only looked like there were only ftp server calls. Any thoughts?

    Use the File Attachment API (AddAttachment) to upload files to a database table, and then use an iScript to serve them. This blog post has an example iScript for reading attachments from tables: http://jjmpsj.blogspot.com/2009/01/exporting-attachments-part-2.html.
    Chapter 2 of my PeopleTools Tips and Techniques book (http://www.amazon.com/PeopleSoft-PeopleTools-Techniques-Oracle-Press/dp/0071664939) has a complete example including a component for uploading files and an iScript for serving them. I call the component "Web Assets."

  • How to add interactivity to files that will be exported as .epub

    We're creating a short ebook for internal use and are having difficulties with adding interactive features. Not sure if it's the limitation of .epub files, although they are advertised as being able to be made media-rich on the adobe site.
    Hyperlinks aren't clickable.
    Videos don't pause.
    Interactive buttons (for use on a checklist) don't work.
    Pan and zoom on photos doesn't work.
    I realize that these items would probably work if we were creating a folio, but since that's a 10 step process, and you need to have the adobe content viewer installed on your device to read them, we figured .epub would be a better way.
    I'm using a mac.
    I'm creating the file in indesign 2014,
    The document set-up is for Digital Publishing, iPad resolution.
    I'm using the various interactive features that are available.
    I export as .epub, open on my iPad and nothing works except a video that doesn't pause.

    You do not create movieclips on the timeline using code, though you can create them and add them as children of something that has been manually placed in the timeline.
    To create a MovieClip using code you use:
        var mc:MovieClip = new MovieClip();
    If you need to add an image, then however you intend to acquire the image, after it has been acquired, you add it to the MovieClip using:
        mc.addChild(img);
    where img is the instance of whatever form of object the image takes (Bitmap, Loader)
    If you need to add a TextField to the MovieClip then you use:
        var tf:TextField = new TextField();
        mc.addChild(tf);
    and you can set up properties for the textfield such as the font and color and position as well after it has been instantiated (the first line).
