Need to find the time spent based on condition

Employee Name   Problem Description         Condition   Time
Alder, Harrison     10W Hydraulic Tanker       ACUP       2/18/2008 1:34:46PM
Alder, Harrison     10W Hydraulic Tanker       COMP      2/18/2008 1:59:37PM
Here's the skinny, for every ticket that goes into the system, there are two time stamps attached to that ticket.
1. is when the ticket was signed on to and became active ( ACUP or ACDN )
2. is when the ticket was signed off or completed ( COMP, COUP,CODN,MSDN,MSUP,PTDN,PTUP,SMUP,SMDN ) all of these are possible sign off conditions.
I need a way to find the difference in time between these two time stamps either based on the condition or if there is another way that would work, I am completely open to suggestions.

  • How To Find out Time Spent on a project

    The reason I am asking this question is because I would like to know how long I spent on a project so I can record it for future reference.
    With Sony Vegas you could have the time spent actually showing in the software with some tweaking Iw as wondering if you could do the same in Final Cut Pro.
    Thanks for the help guys

    Not as far as I know.
    I find the program based trackers to be a waste of time. Does this happen to you? You go for a coffee break that turns into lunch that turns into a new project meeting and you left the project open the whole time? If so, whatever time the program says you've been working is hours off.
    Just keep a notebook on the desk to track hours if you like analog or set it up in iCal (or Quicken) and develop the discipline to keep your time.
    Nothing is as simple as making a note on a piece of paper - really.

  • Calculate the time spent to execute your program

    Hi
    I have a pgm which calculates the response time in milllisecond using method System.currentTimeMillis(). And I get answer 0.
    My question is If we measure the time in terms of nanosecond, do you think we still get zero answer?and What is your explanation for that?
    Waiting for reply. Thanks in Advance
    Regards,
    Jyoti

    Hi,
    Here is the code for calculating the response time.
    public class RunLinkedEvenOddList {
         public static void main(String[] args) {
              long time1;
              long time2;
              time1 = System.currentTimeMillis();
              System.out.println("Program 2 output:");
    LinkedEvenOddList eolist = new
    ew LinkedEvenOddList();
              eolist.insert(9);
              eolist.insert(4);
              eolist.insert(3);
              eolist.insert(2);
              eolist.insert(5);
              eolist.print();
              System.out.println("print Even:");
              eolist.printEven();
              System.out.println("print Odd:");
              eolist.printOdd();
              eolist.delete(9);
              eolist.delete(1);
              System.out.println("list after delete 9, 1:");
              eolist.print();
              System.out.print("execute isMemeber(3): ");
              System.out.println(eolist.isMember(3));
              time2 = System.currentTimeMillis();
    System.out.println("The starting time: " + time1 +
    +
                        " milli seconds.");
              System.out.println("The ending time: " + time2 +
                        " milli seconds.");
    Answer the following questions based on the output of
    your code:
    1. Calculate the time spent to execute your program
    based on the value of time1 and time2; you need write
    your formula first and then give the answer in
    millisecond.
    Answer:
    time2-time1
    time spent to execute your program = 0 millisec
    2. If we measure the time in terms of nanosecond, do
    you think we still get zero answer?
    Answer:
    3.What is your explanation for that?
    Answer:
    Pls help me in answering question 2 and 3. Thanks in

    Are you using a new 802.11ac Time Capsule - the "tall" one - and are you still using Mac OS X 10.6.8?
    You need OS X 10.7.5 "Lion" or later, or an iOS device, to configure an 802.11ac Time Capsule:

    If so you can open it from there.
    If it is you can get back on the Dock by dragging it there from the Applications folder again.

  • I always need to see the time counter on the music player, is that possible?

    As a spinning instructor I need to see the time counter on the music player all the time. Now it dissepears after a short time and I need to touch it to see it again and that is not good! I also wish that it was bigger numbers on the counter so I easy can see how long time it's lest on the songs.
    Ideas anyone?

    By default the screen display will dim in about 20 seconds to conserve the battery. And I cannot find any setting to inhibit this function. I am afraid there is no way you can keep the screen bright and enlarge the numbers on the timer.

    Your pro doesn't matter.. I presume it is happily working.
    Your imac setup has got messed up because you changed from a local (my book being USB type I presume) to network drive. Did you do a clean install of Lion?
    Did you use the backup from the Pro on the imac? Otherwise I don't see how the Pro shows up in use previous disk. Where is Pondini when you need him??
    You cannot download Time Machine as an App and replace the current version. It is built into the OS.. the only way to do it is a clean install. Unfortunately that might be the only way around the issue.
    There is a number of issues that Pondini has covered in the setup issues of troubleshooting.
    This is the most relevant I think. http://pondini.org/TM/B6.html
    But look at the whole section B setup problems.
    http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html
    If it was me, I would store all the info you need.. not using TM but using a straight copy of files.
    Then clean install Lion. I doubt any of these issues would exist if you had not installed Lion over existing setup or used a different backup.
    See if you can get Pondini to respond.. !!

  • HT201250 where can i find the time machine password

    Where can i find the time machine password?

    There is no such thing.
    If you're backing-up to a network drive (Time Capsule, NAS, etc.), that drive may have a password.
    If you're backing-up to an encrypted external HD, you'll need the encryption password.
    Please clarify what version of OSX you're running (your profile says Leopard, but you've posted in the Lion forum), what you're backing-up to, and exactly what message you're getting and when (a screenshot would be fine).

    Hello,
    You have calculated the number of black pixels using a histogram, right? This is the simple part.
    this is how i would approach the problem:
    OPTION 1: calculate the linear magnification of your system, using the equation M = f/(f-d) = hi/ho. f is the focal lenght [mm] and d is the distance of the object from the lense [mm]. You can calculate the magnification by placing an object of known height (ho) at the distance d, and calculate the illuminated pixels (hi). Then multiply the pixels with the physical pixel size in mm. When magnification is know, you can always calculate the object size, based on the number of illuminated pixels. But this is only for the specified distance d. If the distance changes, the magnification changes also. If your area covers let's say 50 pixels, arrange it in 50 columns and 1 row. Calculate the object size using first 50 pixels and second using 1 pixel (if the pixel size in different in both directions, take this into account when calculating). Then multiply the calculated object sizes to get the area.
    OPTION 2: calibrate the camera system in order to obtain the fx and fy [pix]. Calibration is really simple - use the NI Calibration training interface. Calculate the actual focal lenght in both directions:
    fY[mm] = sensor_height[mm] * fy[pix]/sensor_height[pix]
    fX[mm] = sensor_width[mm] * fx[pix]/sensor_width[pix]
    Let's say that the area of the pixels on your image is Ap. Let's also say that we "arrange" it in Ap columns and 1 row. Calculate the actual object size in X direction:
    OX[mm] = Ap * Pw[mm] * d[mm]/fX[mm]
    and in the Y direction:
    OY[mm] = 1 * Ph[mm] * d[mm]/fY[mm]
    where Pw is the element sensor element size in horizontal and Ph in vertical direction [pix].
    Then calculate the real-world area by OX*OY [mm^2].
    You also need the distance d here - the previous post describes how to calculate this.
    Also, hopefully, someone with more experience could comment on what i wrote above. Maybe there is a simpler solution? I am also learning stuff as i go, so any comment would be appreciated.
    Hope this helps you get started.
    Best regards,
    K

  • To find the time required by the process chain to complete

    Hi Experts,
    I am calulating the average time required by the process chain to compete.
    Is there any way to find the time required by the process chain to complete..
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Ashwin

    Hi,
    There is a Tool provided by SAP to do the Process Chain Analysis.
    It is basically a ABAP Program /SSA/BWT which provides the following BW Tools:
    a)Process Chain Analysis : this tool is used to perform the Runtime analysis of the Process Chains. The analysis can be performed not only at Process Chain level but also at the Process Type level.
    b)Detailed Request Analysis
    c)Aggregate Toolset
    d)Infoprovider BPPO Analysis
    So you can go through the program and analyse the runtime of your Process Chains.

    my imac can no longer find the time capsule....i had to delete the old network and re add the time capsule to create a new one and now the imac keeps searching for the base and cant locate it

    If you mean that Time Machine can't find the Time Capsule, I'd try using the Time Machine panel of System Preferences to redeclare your backup disk.  If that's not what you mean, please explain.

    Hi,
    Since I upgraded to Mavericks, Time Machine no longer finds the Time Capsule Disk on my network.
    Five minutes before upgrading it however performed successfully a last backup.
    I found several posts on this forum and proposed solutions:
    - restarted both the mac and capsule
    - deleted the /Library/Preferences/com.apple.TimeMachine.plist (twice rebooting in between)
    Still have the issue.
