Hi,
My query is:

The output from above query is :

                        c3              0227                     19824            S0 --> new row generated which sums AmountI need to break my first result to group it by Cost center and Sum the Amount as shown in 2nd output. A new row will be generated for each cost center summing the amount of all the requests for that cost center. So here for Costcenter C1 the amount is summed for 200136 and 2000014 and displayed in a new row..
for cost center C3, the amount is summed for 2000136, 2000014, 2000013 and is displayed in a new row.

  • Do you need to generate HTML table rows from XML in InDesign?

    General issue: you export XML and you get a bunch of content for xml elements that were a table in inDesign. But they don't have any rows, just cell after cell. What will make rows in your output?
    Solution: XSLT; you need to use the @aid:tcols attribute of exported XML to determine the number of columns that your table should be. This is written in XSLT 1.1 so it shoud work with an export from InDesign. If you have problems with using it on export of XML, try using it on the XML afetr it has been exported, in Oxygen or other XSLT processor. Best to save acopy of your files before using the XSLT with them.  Copy all of the plain text and past into a new file, save with your own filename, ending with .xsl file extension. Then when exporting XML from InDesign CS3-5, browse to your new .xsl file and select it. PLEASE read about XSLT files at w3c.schools or other resource if you want to understand what is going on with this file.
    BTW <!-- indicates comments in code -->
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!-- NO WARRANTY that this example code will work as written for your XML file in InDesign. You can add more templates to the output to map your heading styles to h1, h2, etc. -->

  • Need to generate a Index xml file for corresponding Report PDF file.

    Need to generate a Index xml file for corresponding Report PDF file.
    Currently in fusion we are generating a pdf file using given Rtf template and dataModal source through Ess BIPJobType.xml .
    This is generating pdf successfully.
    As per requirement from Oracle GSI team, they need index xml file of corresponding generated pdf file for their own business scenario.
    Please see the following attached sample file .
    PDf file : https://kix.oraclecorp.com/KIX/uploads1/Jan-2013/354962/docs/BPA_Print_Trx-_output.pdf
    Index file : https://kix.oraclecorp.com/KIX/uploads1/Jan-2013/354962/docs/o39861053.out.idx.txt
    In R12 ,
         We are doing this through java API call to FOProcessor and build the pdf. Here is sample snapshot :
         xmlStream = PrintInvoiceThread.generateXML(pCpContext, logFile, outFile, dbCon, list, aLog, debugFlag);
         OADocumentProcessor docProc = new OADocumentProcessor(xmlStream, tmpDir);
         docProc.process();
         PrintInvoiceThread :
              out.println("<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\" ?>");
                   out.print("<xapi:requestset ");
                   out.println("<xapi:filesystem output=\"" + outFile.getFileName() + "\"/>");
                   out.println("<xapi:indexfile output=\"" + outFile.getFileName() + ".idx\">");
                   out.println(" <totalpages>${VAR_TOTAL_PAGES}</totalpages>");
                   out.println(" <totaldocuments>${VAR_TOTAL_DOCS}</totaldocuments>");
                   out.println("</xapi:indexfile>");
                   out.println("<xapi:document output-type=\"pdf\">");
    out.println("<xapi:customcontents>");
    XMLDocument idxDoc = new XMLDocument();
    idxDoc.setEncoding("UTF-8");
    ((XMLElement)(generator.buildIndexItems(idxDoc, am, row)).getDocumentElement()).print(out);
    idxDoc = null;
    out.println("</xapi:customcontents>");
         In r12 we have a privilege to use page number variable through oracle.apps.xdo.batch.ControlFile
              public static final String VAR_BEGIN_PAGE = "${VAR_BEGIN_PAGE}";
              public static final String VAR_END_PAGE = "${VAR_END_PAGE}";
              public static final String VAR_TOTAL_DOCS = "${VAR_TOTAL_DOCS}";
              public static final String VAR_TOTAL_PAGES = "${VAR_TOTAL_PAGES}";
    Is there any similar java library which do the same thing in fusion .
    Note: I checked in the BIP doc http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/bi.1111/e18863/javaapis.htm#CIHHDDEH
              Section 7.11.3.2 Invoking Processors with InputStream .
    But this is not helping much to me. Is there any other document/view-let which covers these thing .

  • Need to generate 2 idoc"mapping issue"

    Hi Experts,
    When the Purchase_order_type is coming like HIGH,REGULAR,NEW,BOUNCED. In this case i need to generate 2 idoc, based on HIGH is one and Other than HIGH is one, even though if it's REGULAR,NEW,BOUNCED.
    I can't generate. pl suggest
    rgds
    selvam

    Hi,
    Please make sure you will sort the data in your select query.
    Now, you need to have two idocs in mapping. Click on Duplicate Subtree to have second IDOC. Now lets assume, your first IDOC represents mapping when ORDER TYPE is HIGH and your second IDOC represents mapping when your ORDER TYPE is not equal to HIGH that is NEW, BOUNCED, REGULAR etc.
    I have defined Source and Target data type as follows.
    Source Data Type:
    SDN
       <Row>
          <CQ_NO/>
          <ORDER_TYPE/>
          <LINE_NO/>
       </Row>
    Target Data Type:
    SDNTarget
       <IDOC>
          <Node>
             <CQ_NO/>
             <ORDER_TYPE/>
             <ItemNode>
                <LINENO/>
             </ItemNode>
          </Node>
       </IDOC>
    Mapping for IDOC 1:
    IDOC:
    Order Type -->Fix Values --> remove context
    Fix Values (This should have default u201Cfalseu201D and HIGH = true)
    Concatenate Output of point 1 with CQ_NO (Context of CQ_NO should be at SDN)
    Output of point 3 --> Split by value (value changed) -->collapse context
    Output of point 4 will be first input to u201CStart withu201D function and second input will be constant u201Ctrueu201D
    Output of Point 5 --> create if --> IDOC
    Node:
    Map with constant
    CQ_NO:
    Order Type --> Fix Values --> remove context
    Fix Values (This should have default u201Cfalseu201D and HIGH = true)
    Concatenate Output of point 1 with CQ_NO (Context of CQ_NO should be at SDN)
    Output of point 3 --> Split by value (value changed)
    User Format By example. Pass CQ_NO (Context of CQ_NO should be at Row) as first input and second input should be output of point 4.
    Pass Output of format by example that is point no 5, to collapse context --> Split by value (Each Value) --> CQ_NO
    ORDER_TYPE
    Order Type --> Fix Values --> remove context
    Fix Values (This should have default u201Cfalseu201D and HIGH = true)
    Concatenate Output of point 1 with CQ_NO (Context of CQ_NO should be at SDN)
    Output of point 3 --> Split by value (value changed)
    User Format By example. Pass ORDER_TYPE (Context of CQ_NO should be at Row) as first input and second input should be output of point 4.
    Item Node:
    Order Type --> Fix Values --> remove context
    Fix Values (This should have default u201Cfalseu201D and HIGH = true)
    Concatenate Output of point 1 with CQ_NO (Context of CQ_NO should be at SDN)
    Output of point 3 --> Split by value (value changed)
    Output of point 4 will be first input to u201CStart withu201D function and second input will be constant u201Ctrueu201D
    Output of Point 5 --> create if --> IDOC

  • Combine fillable rows

    I'm trying to create a fillable form from an existing Excel document. In the Excel document, I left two rows of space for the end user's response. Now that it is in PDF, these rows for the response do not wrap the text. Is it possible to combine the rows/fields or wrap text?
    Thanks!

    thanks. is there something else that i need to do? even with multiline selected, it's still just skrinking the text instead of allowing for another line. does the formatting in excel have something to do with it?

    Hello Gurus ,
    I have a table with one column as primary key, I need to create a new row in the table, but with same data as in one of the rows, but with different primary key, in short a duplicate row with diferent primary key ..
    Any ideas of how it can be done without much complication?
    Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Hi,
    Sorry for previous message in which I had missed the usage of " UTL_FILE " package
    I need to generate the excel file with diffrent sheets . Currently I am generating the data in three diffrent excel files using
    " UTL_File " package and my requirement is to generate this in a single excel file with diffrent sheets.
    Please help on this

    Hello 10866107,
    at Re: How to save a query result and export it to, say excell? you can find links to different solutions. At least the packages behind second and fourth link support more than one worksheet.

    I'm not able to realize how Oracle will help in the problem. You may probably want to look at some [.net forums|http://www.google.com.sg/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS280&q=.net+forums&btnG=Google+Search&meta=lr%3D] about this.

  • Need to generate a report for 30 Million records

    HI Gurus,
              We have a requirement wherein we need to generate a report with 30-32 million records on a monthly basis and store the report in some external system via FTP. We estimated the size of the file to be around 2.5 GB. Is it possibloe to save the file in PDF ? or is it possible to store such file in anyother file type?
    Kindly let me know..
    Cheers...
    Nip

    Hi,
    If you are using 7.0 then you can save the file as a PDF file. Would suggest you precalculate while running the report as well.
    Cheers,
    Kedar

    Given a Date as sysdate and any number like 10 and we need to generate a sequence of days with an interval on one month.
    we can consider sysdate '25-may-2012' and 10 as inputs to the function and the output need to be something like this.
    else a single select statement shall also work
    '25-may-2012'
    '25-jun-2012'
    '25-jul-2012'
    '25-aug-2012'
    '25-sep-2012'
    '25-oct-2012'
    '25-nov-2012'
    '25-dec-2012'
    '25-jan-2013'
    '25-feb-2013'Please advise.

    Just a hint:
    iteration_number starts with 0
    select dt,iter
    from dual
    model
    dimension by (1 as x)
    measures (to_date('25-may-2012', 'dd-mon-yyyy', 'NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE = ENGLISH') as dt, 0 iter)
    rules iterate (10)
    dt[iteration_number] = add_months(dt[1], iteration_number - 1)
    ,iter[iteration_number]=iteration_number
    DT     ITER
    05/25/2012     1
    04/25/2012     0
    06/25/2012     2
    07/25/2012     3
    08/25/2012     4
    09/25/2012     5
    10/25/2012     6
    11/25/2012     7
    12/25/2012     8
    01/25/2013     9no need for -1 therefor ;-)

  • Specific need: to generate a cylindrical projection NOT from a sphere, but from a flat image

    Specific need: to generate a cylindrical projection NOT from a sphere, but from a flat image, like a person's face, etc., such that the cylindrical projection can be used to wrap a sphere (via other software such as the DX I use), where the face could be positioned arbitrarily at the equator (where a cylindrical projection image created FROM a sphere appears most normal), a pole (where a cylindrical projection image created FROM a sphere appears most stretched out), or anywhere else on the resultant sphere's surface. This would allow creation of a, say, a cylindrical projection of a sphere that represents a numbered billiard ball from a flat representation of the number design. Is there an Adobe or Photoshop product that will provide this? Thanks for any help!

    Thanks, Noel. Here's the crux: the image sphincters at the poles, natch. I've been looking for an algorithm or feature in a graphics app that would assume that the flat image of joetalker's entry would be spread proportionately at the poles so that the size of print would be uniform (or the shape of face photo, etc).
    Using such a feature would dictate that type, lets say, would be distributed on the flat image something like this in order not to lose too much at the edges (where the sphere mesh meets at 0-longitude), and sphincters as latitude approaches the poles:
    ++++++++Hello+++++++++
    +++++How are you &+++++
    ++What can I do for you+++
    +++++How are you &+++++
    ++++++++Hello+++++++++
    Yes, over-simplified. Here with a photo, where the original photo is "X" signs, and the empty space is "+" signs, along with the desired created cylindrical projection ready for a sphere mesh:
    Example 1 at equator:
    original:
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++XXXXX++++++++++
    +++++++++XXXXX++++++++++
    +++++++++++XXXX+++++++++
    ++++++++++XXX++++++++++
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    created cylindrcal projection:
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++XXXXXXXXX++++++++
    +++++++++XXXXX++++++++++
    +++++++++XXXXXXXX+++++++
    +++++++XXXXXXXXX+++++++
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
    +++++++++++++++++++++++
    -very similar, with a widening at top and bottom of "photo", right?
    Example 2 at poles:
    original:
    +++++++++++XXXX+++++++++    (bottom of photo)
    ++++++++++XXX++++++++++
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++XXXXX++++++++++   (top of photo)
    +++++++++XXXXX++++++++++
    created cylindrcal projection:
    +++XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX+++
    ++++++XXXXXXXXXXXXX++++++
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++
    +++++XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX++++++
    ++XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX+++
    -now with an even more widening toward the poles to compensate for the pole sphinctering.
    If starting with a true globe already spatially correct, creating a cylindrical projection is commonplace. I'm attempting to find an app that will create a cylindrical projection-like graphic ready for a sphere mesh from a flat photo or graphic. The above example would place the photo in correct proportion over the pole of the sphere, discarding information at the ever decreasing edges as the image projects to the poles.
    Hope this is clear, and thanks again!
    -Johnny

  • Given WSDL, need to generate example request / response XML to give testers

    Without actually making the service calls I need to generate example XML request and response messages for each service in a given a WSDL.
    So far the only other tool that can do this is the Oxygen xml editor wsdl inspector. Not even XMLspy does this.
    Just wondering if my experimenting with Jdev 11.(latest) has missed a way to get this accomplished?

  • Error in planning sequence- 'Cannot generate combinations of multiprovider'

    Hi Gurus,
                       I am facing a problem while executing my planning sequence in modeller. Aggregation level contains all characteristics in multiprovider. Multiprovider contains actual and planned cubes. Filter is based on product name in modeller. Planning function is copy. Characteristics to be changed in calyear. But the error generated while executing planning sequence is
    'To value - 1 for subprocess 1 produces following errors.
    'Cannot generate combinations for multiprovider'
    'Cannot generate combinations in step 00'.
    I would really appreciate the time and effort which will be taken by gurus.
    Thanks in advance.

    2007 is the calyear in the actual cube ic_model.
    in copy function i have specified that 2007 should be changed to 2011 and ic_model(actual cube) to planned cube.
