Need to get mass info from my XML library file

Hi. A while ago I was trying to set up my computer so that a user other than me could play my iTunes songs but not be able to delete them. In the course of that I somehow moved a file I shouldn't have and iTunes lost all my info. I finally managed to get it to find all my songs again but it lost all the playlists and playcount info. I really dig the play count stuff and like it to be accurate. I have a copy of my old library xml file and have been going through it, finding song names and their play counts and then manually playing that song however many times in iTunes to make it up to date. But it is taking forever. I've been working on it for a few months and only have 1200 songs done out of 5600.
I was wondering if someone had an easier way. I'm hoping maybe a simple program that could extract the info I need and put it in a .txt file or something. I don't mind doing the iTunes bit myself but there is so much information that I don't need in there it seriously slows the process down. Here's an example of the format:

If there was a program that could delete everything except the Name line and the Play count line...
I don't know. Is that just wishful thinking?

Torch is not working I need to get my info from BB Protect

My Torch just stopped working and I just got an iPhone. I need to get my info that is stored on BB Protect and download my pics, etc. into my PC or my new iPhone. How can I do this? I have a lot of work stuff in there and I am desperate!

1. Pics are not backed up to Protect. Are you pics on your REMOVABLE media card in your 9810?

ASP / PHP pages: How to get streaming info from a XML file?

Hi all
I am using Adobe Flash Media Streaming Server 3.5 but I can't find any output file (fx a xml file) that I can pull out info from and use on my website via a PHP or ASP script. It could be nice - in the website - to retrieve info like "online users attending", "running / streaming state" (online or offline) and other relevant info about the streaming, so I on the website can display how many that are online when a webtv event is streaming.
I see the the info when I login at the web admin for FMS, but I need a solution that can work with ASP or PHP.
I simply can't find any file / address to get this kind or output out of FMS - can you help?

Help! I know nothing and need to get my info from my Curve onto my Pre

Ok first off I know nothing so please don't use any techincal terms or assume that I know what an OS something is because I promise I don't. What I need is to simplely get the info off my Blackberry Desktop Manager onto my new Palm Pre. I've been at it for days and trying to decipher all the lingo on here and I guess I'm not smarter than a 5th grader because I can't figure it out.
What I need to know is step by step instructions. Don't tell me I can save 19.99 if I do certain steps myself because I really just want the easy way out. Please people have pity on me - I can't even figure out my kids PS3.
So I don't have anything important in Outlook or any other program than my Blackberry Desktop Manager. I appreciate any help from those willing to help my lost self. Thanks a bunch!

In order to transfer your data to the PRE you will need to have your data in Outlook. Once you have your data in Outlook, you can use the Palm Data Transfer Assistant to transfer your data to the PRE.
Here is an article on how to setup your Blackberry to sync with Outlook. If you have trouble with this, you will need to call Blackberry support for assistance.

I need to get the music from my iTunes library to my iPhone 4, but it won't recognize my phone in iTunes...

I did so, but after downloading this software, I was told that it needed my MacBook Pro to have Version 10.6.8 or higher to run. My MacBook has Version 10.6.4, and I have no idea what updating it would require. I'd prefer to get my music from iTunes library to my phone without updating. If anyone knows how, please help.

You'll have to update your OS on your Macbook.

I am getting conflicting info (from Apple folks) whether I can upgrade to Lion with 1 GB Ram. Some are saying I need 2 (which I can do by adding memory) - or 3 (which I'm not sure I can do). Anyone running Lion with 1 GB? 2? I am at Leopard 10.5.8 to run some recording mixer which the company (Alesis) told me they weren't going to support drivers to Lion, but I guess they changed their minds. Am I clear on this? thanks.

The hardware requirements for Lion are an intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB RAM.
I wouldn't even both trying with 1GB, and even with 2GB Lion may struggle. If you intend to upgrade to Lion, can I suggest you max out your RAM. RAM is cheap at the moment.

Do you have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes?
If not, before doing so with your iPhone connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. After confirming all apps on your iPhone are in your iTunes library, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab and make sure all apps are selected below followed by a sync.
Now after downloading/installing an app direct with your iPhone, the app will be copied to your iTunes library library automatically the first time you sync your Phone with iTunes after doing so.
Follow this by selecting Sync Apps under the Apps tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes and selecting the apps below that you want installed on your iPad followed by a sync.
Photos/videos in your iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera which is not handled by iTunes.
After the photos are imported by your computer, you can transfer the photos to your iPad via the iTunes sync/transfer process which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes.

You can transfer itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back.

You don't have it unless you have downloaded and installed it either manually or via Software Update.
The update should be installed to protect you from possible malware exploits via Java. However, if you don't use Java programming or run Java applets in your browser, then you do not need the update. But you must turn Java off in your browser's security preferences (it will be a checkbox.)

I just upgraded to a new mac running 10.6.4. I took the HD from the older Mac and put it in the new mac in an empty bay to have access to all the previous data and programs and use as a back up HD.
