Need to print Java Bean contents

Working on Oracl 9i Designer but 10g database.
I have a Form in which I have a bean. I need to print the contents (text) from this bean. Any ideas ?? Cannot use WebUtil.
Thanks

My knowledge is all in Forms. I have added the Java ean example for the Graph and need to print this, but bear ini mind i have merely attached this ready made example provided by oracle. What program do i use and how do i print this graph. Using th Java code you provided for printing does this need to be done within the Java bean or can i do it within Forms?
This is our first look at a bean so we have limited knowledge, but want to incorporate the graph into our form.

    Here is a good link that indicate that JavaBean is not only for applets
    http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/javabeans/whatis/beanDefinition.html
    quote:
    The JavaBeans API makes it possible to write component software in the Java programming language. Components are self-contained, reusable software units that can be visually composed into composite components, applets, applications, and servlets using visual application builder tools. JavaBean components are known as Beans.

  • Urgent : java bean having bidirectional one to many relationship

    Hi,
    We have complex requirement in our application.
    We need to copy java bean having bidirectional one to many relationship to another javabean having bidirectional one to many relationship..
    E.g
    Class Basket1 {
    public String color;
    pubic String type;
    public List<Basket1> basketList = new ArrayList()
    Class Basket2 {
    public String color;
    pubic String type;
    public List<Basket2> basketList = new ArrayList()
    We need to exact copy Basket1 to Basket2. We are in trouble to copy List of child because we do not have how many child Basket1 have of same type..
    Can someone help us how we can implement such kind of complex object bidirectional one to many relationship??

    I can't see anything bidirectional about these relationships. What I can see is a couple of BasketN classes that look identical so I don't know why they both exist, and they both contain lists of themselves as members, which suggests some kind of tree structure. Nothing bidirectional there. I can see tat these things can form circular object graphs but I don't see why you would want to do that.
    We need to exact copy Basket1 to Basket2And I don't know what that means. Please explain.

  • Need ideas for new PJC/Java Beans

    Hello everybody,
    I am always looking for new ideas about the Java Bean and PJC stuff. Sometimes I have good ideas about this, but sometimes it is quite a pain to find something new and innovative.
    If you have ideas or needs about this, let me know in this thread.
    (Sorry Oracle staff if I am going beyond my rights by using the Forum for that purpose)
    Francois

    Francois ,
    I think that we all need to thank you for all your hard work promoting Oracle Forms.
    Your input and constant support on this forum is greatly appreciated.
    But I personally think that all this needs to be addressed by Oracle.
    Your wrote
    Sometimes I have good ideas about this, but sometimes it is quite a pain to find something new and innovative.
    And I agree with you.
    You can go as far as the Forms let you go...

  • Need advice about web services and Java beans

    Hi
    I am very new to web services and to Java beans as well.
    I am trying to understand if and how a web service can use functionality I have in a Java bean. I couldn't find any documentation I can use.
    For example:
    InitialContext ic = new InitialContext();
    Adder adder = (Adder) ic.lookup("ejb/AdderJNDI");In a EJB client project (I'm working with Eclipse) if I add the EJB project to the build path, the Adder interface is recognized.
    Theoritacally I thought I can do the same in a web service server project, but the Adder interface is not recognized.
    Is there something I can read to understand how I need to use the EJB or implement the web service?
    Many thanks
    Sigal

    Okay....I think I made some errors with the original scenario:
    It basically comes down to this....I think. OCS Calendar has a set of Java classes and methods that provide an abstraction for their web services interface. I know how to create something to use these classes using an IDE like JDeveloper, but I'm not sure how that would work with HTML DB.
    I've noticed that the SQL Workshop has a place for Java sources and classes, and I've heard mentions of PL/SQL wrapping. Is there a way to import classes into an HTML DB workspace, wrap 'em up, and access them via PL/SQL?
    Thanks again,
    Jonathan

    You can use XMLEncoder with custom persistence delegates if needed:

  • Fedex Site says I need to Install Java to Print

    I'm trying to print a fedex label and it's telling me I need to install Java. It takes me to this page on Oracle's site: https://www.java.com/en/download/mac_download.jsp  I thought Java was already installed. I OS 10.9.3   Before I do the download I wanted to make sure, do I really need this or is the Fedex site just reading my computer wrong? Is there any risk to downloading this?  Isn't it kind of stupid that Fedex has to make me do this extra crap when plenty of other sites can print out labels just fine (that last question was rhetorical).

    Figured it out. I tried using Safari rather than Firefox and it worked fine. No need to download anything.
