Hi I bought my Photosmart C7280 in the UK i then moved to Australia had my printer reset by HP so i could buy the ink instore and now i need to put it back to UK settings i know you have to get into the printer preferences and then into the next screen which has for use with support assistance only with 5 boxes on the top row with numbers 41 - 45 and 1 box below numbered 51 can anybody give me the numbers and also the id ref i need as i do not want to throw the printer out as it has always been good.

When in printer properies needed to change print to black it errors, this stated after download fox 4

After downloading fox 4, was unable to utliize the properties in my printer window to change print to black as I don't currently have a color cartridge.

Getting sick of my Mozaic locking up. Do i need to send it back?

@? I bought a mozaic for my wife a while back for our anni'versary and to be honest it is getting on my wick! When it arri'ved it wouldn't work at all so i got on the net and downloaded to firmware and then it started working, all good. Now it works for a while could be 20 mins could be 3or 4 hours then just locks up. I have to push the rest button and then turn it on again and its ok for a while.
I am pretty new to all this mp3 stuff and am getting a bit miffed off as my wife wont use it because it locks up al the time.
Should i be sending it back to creative? I got it off them with the travel speakers as a package?
Hope somone can help out with some info.

Resetting may not be enough. When you add or remove a fair amount of files to the player you should do a Cleanup>Reboot to get rid of broken links ect. & in general tidy up the dri've. Instructions can be found here. Although there seems to be none for your particular player the instructions used for the Zen should bring that mode up. DO NOT CHOOSE RELOAD OS? HP Officejet 7110 Wide Format Printer not printing true black on HP Semi Glossy A4 paper

I recently bought an HP Officejet 7110 Wide Format Printer and I have tried several times to print black on HP Semi Glossy A4 paper C6818A and each time it comes out as an almost dark brown off-black. I have tested it with another HP printer and it printed a perfect dark black from the same file using standard printer settings for plain paper. I have just replaced the printer cartridges supplied with the printer with some new ones and this has not fixed the problem either. If you could suggest any possible solutions I would appreciate it. You need to change the account settings in Entourage for removing messages from the server when downloaded by Entourage.
At the Entourage menu bar, go to Tools and select Accounts.
Select your BellSouth account and then Edit.
Under the Options tab below Server Options, select "Leave a copy of each message on the server" and then select OK.
With this selected, Entourage will not remove messages from the server when downloaded.
Getting messages removed from the server when downloaded by an email client such as Entourage back on the server isn't an easy process with a POP type account.
You can use the Redirect feature but this must be done separately for each message. Select a downloaded message in the account's Inbox mailbox and at the menu bar, go to Message and select Redirect. Enter your BellSouth email address in the To: field and select Send. This should make the message appear the same as when originally received - not appearing as being forwarded and Entourage will redownload each redirected message but not remove it from the server when downloaded.

The document print was acceptable, but the picture was solid black. There were no error messages. These were, my initial tests, to check this new printer.

I read through your post about your new Officejet 8610 scanning a document to your computer and printing out all black. I have a couple ideas for you to try.
Try the steps in this guide: Unexpected Scan Output Using HP Scan Application for HP Multifunction Printers When Using OS X v10.9...
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
Ensure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help.

Hello Community...Macbook w 10.6.8 and I need printing help. Using three canon photo printers of same model and need them to print individually. They are older and NOT network-able. Currently using another Mac to print to 2nd printer. 3 is idle.

Is there software available where all I have to do is hit print and any of the 4x6 printers will print? Once I get this issue settled, I'll get a second larger format. I have to get this rectified because of time and ease. As mentioned, I have a second mac that I share screens with so my assistant can find pics for customers while I'm shooting. So, I can print through that mac to the printer. (ie....print to canon@##%#@Mac 2) I don't want to bring a third computer just to print to three of the same model printer. (That's what I've been doing) BTW....I totally know there are faster dye-sub printers out there but I'm about 4 more events from purchasing one...($$$) Some print under 10 seconds. I would appreciate any answers out there. Thank you.

I don't have that printer and I'm not on Mac, so someone else has to step in there. Generally a green/magenta cast indicates none/double printer color management. But then I don't know what you mean by "slight".
The Spyders aren't the most consistent and reliable calibrators out there. I had a Spyder 3 sensor that I just threw away because it gave a distinct red cast (I have several other calibrators, so there was no doubt). Another potential problem is that with most calibrators you can only adjust the white point along the blue/yellow Kelvin scale, but not on the green/magenta scale. This is often necessary to get a good white point color. In this case you need to use the monitor's OSD controls, and if possible the "pre-calibration" function in the calibrator to measure and monitor it - if that function exists. And I don't know if this is possible with an iMac.
This is basically a question of getting the white point right, both on the blue/yellow and the green/magenta axis (and luminance of course). The goal is to get a visual match to paper white on screen. With the white point properly set, neutral color balance relates to that, and the rest more or less follows by itself. (In addition you should set the proper black point/contrast for full control, but that's not the issue here).

I need to restrict printing but keep the Content Type and Page Extraction allowed. How do I keep both the content type and page extraction displaying allowed?

When I change the settings to allow for the content type and page extraction and save it, it shows allowed. When I close the pdf, reopen it, review the security properties, it shows the content type as allowed and the page extraction as disallowed. I need both to stay at allowed, how do make this happen?

The moment that you select not to allow any kind of change done to the file then pages extraction is automatically not allowed as well. There's no way around that.

I can serve alternative content to IE6 with a conditional comment, but how can I sniff for the relevant gecko version and redirect to a different page? I understand we are talking about maybe 2.5% of users (which for us is still enough to warrant making sure the page doesnt break horribly for those users!)

Printing in black and white only - looking for a definitive solution

I've been trying to find out once and for all how to make sure my black and white text documents are printing only from the large pigment-based cartridge (525 PGBK), rather than using the smaller black dye-based cartridge (526BK), or from a combination of the dye-based colour cartridges. I've trawled through endless forums, and finally in frustration I recently called Canon's Australian phone support team.
I thought I'd nailed it. The phone support person told me that if the document I'm printing is definitely black only, then all I need to do is print normally, with grayscale DE-selected. He said nothing about also de-selecting duplex. But I've since read online advice that contradicts this in relation to other models (I haven't found any advice based specifically on the MG6150, apart from the phone guy from Canon). Some say you need to SELECT grayscale and DE-select duplex; others say to DE-select both grayscale and duplex; others say to select grayscale, DE-select duplex, and also select dither (on my screen that's under Main > Print Quality > Custom). I'm now wondering whether I've nailed it after all.
If anyone from Canon is reading this, can you please give a definitive answer to these questions:
1. How do I ensure that my black and white text documents print only from the large pigment cartridge?
2. Can I print in automatic duplex using this method, or do I have to do manual duplex?
2. Will this also work for purely black and white NON-text documents as well (e.g., photos that have been converted from colour to B&W)?
3. If not, is there another way of forcing B&W NON-text documents to print from the pigment cartridge? What about a way of forcing colour documents to print from the pigment cartridge?
4. If my smaller black dye cartridge (526BK) isn't being used up at the same rate as the other dye cartridges, is there a way of forcing the printer to use this instead of the pigment cartridge for B&W text documents, but NOT to mix in any of the colour cartridges at the same time?
5. Does this procedure work for all other Canon printer models in addition to the MG6150, or just a limited range?

I have at MG8100 and it seems that there is no solution to this. I have scoured the web for one and it seems that there is no way to print in black and white only. The grayscale option uses all the colours including black to print.
I have gone through a ton of colour ink just printing black and white documents. Its cost me a fortune and I've worked out that I can get it done cheaper by going to the print shop.
As far as I am concerned this unbelievable. A printer that doesn't give you the option to print using black ink only! And its not advertised or made known in any way. You have to buy the product and then find out later that it does not have a black and white print option. It seems there are a lot of people out there that are unhappy about this, and the "problem" seems to go quite far back. Why haven't Canon responded by adding this feature?! I wont say it here, but I think it must be obvious. Brings to mind the story of housecleaning product manufacturers that increase the size of the closures so that consumers will use more of the product, which is actually wasteful, so as to increase the purchase cycle.
This leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I'm flogging mine now, and I am done with Canon for good!

hey,
you need to use ALEAUD Idoc which is used for the purpose of IDOC ack. You need to set it in Outbound Message of you partner profile. You need to run the transaction RBDSTATE and set a varaint. you also need to schedule a job in SM36 and use the variant in it.
you can import the Idoc in you XI and do the mapping of the required fields.

You need to contact them through the phone, and they're going to tell you to recover your system to see if the problem is cleared.
This only works if it's hardware and you can't do it by yourself, like a hard drive failing.
You can call them at 1-866-408-5408 or chat with them.
They're going to send you a box, normally 2 day service by FedEx, and it'll take a couple of days before you get it back.
There's two styrofoam holders that you place in the box.
You have to fill out a paper to describe the problem, how to re-occur it and your Windows password if you use one.
When you get it back it'll be like new (well, sort of) because they have to recover it once again to make Vista compatible with the new hardware.
Note that the box is like 3 ft by 2 ft.
