Need to send sms to the customer through Oracle Apps Custom form

Hi All,
This is sandeep, i have design a Oracle Apps Custom form, i am entering the Customer related date like customer name, number, customer Amount, cheque number, customer phone number, user want, when the user will save that form, so that above information should be send to the particular customer automatically, user entering the only one customer at a time. again user will open the new form and enter the new customer related data for that i have URL provided by the third party.
Please help me how can i achieve it, and what code i have to write and where.
it's urgent. kindly reply me as soon as possible

I have resolved that issue my self. now i am able to send transitional messages to the customers.

I think that there is some confusion/misunderstand around this topic.
YES, you can use LV to send data using UDP and TCP to other systems.
NO, UDP by itself does not ensure lossless data transfer. So UDP can lose packets. That is something which LV cannot influence by any means. TCP is a lossless protocol which should be used if you require the security.
NO, neither TCP nor UDP are deterministic. So even if the packages you are sending are sent within a time x ms, there is no one garantee of any means that this happens EVERY time. Sometime packages might take a multiple of this time.
NO, transfer times are not influenced by the sending PC at a primary level. It all depends on your network; if the network sucks, using UDP packages are lost. If using TCP, packages are resent, so it also depends on sender and receiver alike.

With SAP ALL its working. But cannot assign that to all users. Whats the specific role for this?
I tried with /IWFND/RT_GW_USER. But it says the role does not exist.

Hi,
As usual you need to build a role by yourself based on your requirements. In case of Odata services there are two different TADIR services that needs to be added. One corresponds to authorization to execute logic on backend server and the other one to access service on front end server. You can get specific services by tracing one call using ST01. For Fiori apps from SAP you get role templates. You can use them for inspiration.

Actually i am trying to send 10 sine signals from server pc to client pc. So i will bundle 10 signals in server pc and send it and in client pc i am unbundling it and need to save in TDMS format.
Till unbundling i was able to do. TDMS format it is saving only last value. I need to save all the values. Kindly help me on same. I am attaching both the VI.

Discover Report in Viewer through Oracle Apps

I want to launch the Discoverer Report in Viewer through Oracle Apps.
Through Concurrent Program, by passing some parameters...?

Hi,
You can launch Disco Viewer or Plus from the Apps menu by creating an OracleOASIS Application Function.
If you want to run Discoverer from a Concurrent Program then I assume you want the output of the Discoverer report as an HTML ( or some other format) available as output from the concurrent job. If that is the case then Discoverer Desktop Edition must be used to export the workbook into a file and this can be done from the current manager with a bit of development.
On our system we have developed a concurrent request to schedule Discoverer workbooks. The main parameters for the concurrent request are the workbook you want to run, the parameters for the workbook, the responsibility you want to use to run the workbook in Discoverer and the type of export you want (ie. HTML, PDF, Excel etc). The concurrent request then sends the request to a Discoverer workstation. A simple VBSript on the workstation runs Discoverer from the command line and exports the workbook to a file to the request output directory back on the database server (using a SAMBA drive). The Discoverer report then can then viewed as output from the concurrent request. However, we mainly use a web page integrated to Apps to view and download output from our concurrent requests. This all works smoothly and provides a better alternative for Applications than using Discoverer scheduling.

I have created a custom form , everything is working fine but when i pressed on the oracle apps custom form ( F11) then its not changing the form color to blue.
I have already done below setup but nothing is working fine :-
1.APP_STANDARD.EVENT('WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE'); at your block level Trigger.
2.Execution Hierarchy Property to "Before" or "After" at block level trigger.
Could anyone help on this.

I am trying to pass the value of a field from the seeded page /oracle/apps/

I am trying to pass the value of a field from the seeded page /oracle/apps/asn/opportunity/webui/OpptyDetPG. The value I want is in the VO oracle.apps.asn.opportunity.server.OpportunityDetailsVO and the field PartyName.
I have created a button on the page whose destination URL is
OA.jsp?OAFunc=XX_CS_SR_QUERY&CustName={#PartyName}
It opens the correct page, but in the URL it shows this

You can see that &CustName is not getting the proper value. Do I need to do something different?

You cannot call the form with OA.jsp . This is applicable only for OAF based pages registered as a function.
For calling a Form, use the below example:
You have to change the application responsibility key and form function name .

How to identify a One time Customer In Oracle APps AR?
Is it possible to find out how many number of transactions a Customer does so that, if the number of transactions is 1, then that customer is a one time customer. or else he is not?

Hi Bob,
to my knowledge, i cannot recollect a seeded report from oracle that could meet your requirement. You can try running the Transaction Register report from your Go live date till now, so that system would generate a list of all the Invoices along with the Customer Name, then you could export this to excel and perform a sort, filter and groupby to get the desired result ....
However if you are a person with technical expertise, check the table RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL this stores all the transaction related information ..... you can select TRX_NUMBER, BILL_TO_CUSTOMER_ID from this table and perform a count by customer...(I am not sure on the syntax and usage of sql functions) you can get the desired results ...
Also in future, while creating a new customer if you know well in advance that this customer is going to be an ONE TIME CUSTOMER, there you could capture that information in any unused field on the customer configuration or can enable a DFF and capture this information, so it becomes very easy to identify such customers or have a report built based on it...
I assume there is an objecive behind trying to find One time customers or customers with a single transaction history ... are you planning to disable/end date/inactivate such customers ....?

While running the report from oracle apps i am getting the below error.
First time when i ran it it works fine in the second time it is giving the below error like
MSG-00001: After SRWINIT
MSG-01000: Label sets failed
MSG-01000: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
REP-1419: 'beforereport': PL/SQL program aborted
Can anyone please give your kind advice on it.

I seriously doubt it. So, all you can do is send email messages to their email address assigned to their mobile phone, provided the carrier offers that. Most ofen the form is <phonenumber>@<mobile.carrier.isp>

Can I use my MAC (G5 & OS 10.4) to send SMS from the UK?

When I used an earlier PowerMac and OS 9, I was able to dial a Vodafone number (using the communications module of Claris Works) to send SMS messages to mobile phones.
I have recently seen Widgets advertised which seem to offer such a facility, but not, apparently, in the UK.
Is there any way of sending SMS messages from a Mac in the UK?
