Negative number badge for Messages

I just noticed that the new message badge for Messages in Mountain Lion shows -1.
The messages app was not running(no light under it on the dock).
I ahve not seen this before. Strange behaviour!

I would reboot the mac.

BD59 for message Cremas

Hi,
I want to add filter object type for vendor number (LIFNR) for message type Cremas. I added already LIFNR with segment type E1LFA1M in BD59. But when I launch BD64 and I do not see vendor number in the filter set.
What happens? Is it because of vendor number represents as a key field thus unable to be used. Other non key fields have no problem. This is just my assumption.

For type E and W, the relevant message is normally returned and the variables are then stored in SY-MSGV1 to V4, if available. Not all messages have variables.
In case of an Abort (A) you will get a pop-up with the message. In case of Short Dump (type X), ypu will get an overview page in which will be explained what the problem triggered.

Number of unread message is in negative when all message are read

How do I set up a new phone number for messaging and facetime on my iPad?

My iPad has it's own phone number through Verizon. Before I knew this, I had already set up messages to use my iPhone number. Now I can't figure out how to set up the iPad phone number for messages and facetime on the iPad.

Number range for object MDTB does not exist - Message no. 61501

Hi All ,
I have done the necessary configurations in PP say
Order Type
Order Type Dependent Parameters
Scheduling parameters for planned & production order
Confirmation parameters
Availabilty check etc
and iam able to create planned & production order and confirma the production order.
I want to configure for MRP: -
Settings done are
Have activeted planning file entry for all plants.
When i run MRP system throws a error <b>Number range for object MDTB does not exist - Message no.61501 </b>
Is there anything to do with plant parameters OPPQ and Mrp Group OPPR.
I just tried plant parameters,standard 0001 is not available for copying.
Suggest me how to proceed to set MRP.

it is a good practice while creating the plant copying the plant from the standard plant so that all the standard table enteries will be copied for the plant as the standard plant is not there youcan think of copying from any other plant similar to your plant which has the required entry. else
in SE16N check the NRIV table for the Object MDTB. if enteris found then make the table entry with the help of abaper.

TS4268 cant link my phone number on new ipad for messages

Hi, I have just purchased a new ipad mini and set up, as per instructions, however on the first set up i chose "set up as new" rather than back up from my iphone 4/itunes..... the reason for this is that my harddrive on my pc crashed at xmas and have lost everything for the time being, including itunes etc....
anyway, everything worked ok with the new ipad, but none of my apps synced (i am guessing due to the fact my phone was not linked to icloud at the time?) and what ever i try, i cannot get my phone number to display on the ipad for tex messages/imessages & facetime etc, it only displays my email address associated with my apple id.
no matter how many times i have signed out on all devices & signed back in, it doesn't change??
can anyone help with this please?

Somehow my iPad got switched for messaging to showing from my email. There is no option showing to use my phone number. How do I get it back to my phone number? This happened when I upgraded my iPhone today, but it is using the phone number fine.

Can we get rid of "redirecting number in IE" message for CER 911 calls?

Hi There,
Cisco CUCM version 8.03, CER 8.5, DMS-100 PRI, MGCP configured with "Redirecting number in IE-Outbound" option checked on gateway.
When we do 911 tests with CER involved, the voice gateway receiving the redirecting number in IE---911 message:
        Calling Party Number i = 0x0081, '4861234567'
                Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
        Called Party Number i = 0x80, '911'
                Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
        Original Called Number i = 0x00000281, '911'
                Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
        Redirecting Number i = 0x000082, '911'
                Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
The call finally is routed to wrong PSAP with strange CLID displayed on their end, such as 4869110085, and the carrier told us that we are sending 911 as the ANI from their logs.
But if without CER involved, the gateway has the message:
        Calling Party Number i = 0x0081, '4861234567'
                Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
        Called Party Number i = 0x80, '911'
                Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown
And the call can be correctly routed to the proper PSAP with the right CLID.
Although on MGCP gateway we can uncheck the option of "Redirecting number in IE-Outbound" to solve the above 911 calls issue with CER involved, unckeck this option may impact other applications.
Therefore my question is:
Is there any fix or workaround to have CUCM not send redirecting number information for 911 calls only in MGCP environment?

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I'm seeing a similar issue with a carrier masking the calling number with the Bill To Number based on the redirecting field plan being set to "UnKnown".

It's best to start with figuring out your eMac model and OS in order to answer the question. This article will help you determine your model:

And to get the version of Mac OS that's installed:
From the Apple Menu at the left end of your menu bar, select "About this Mac..."
In the resulting Window, you can see the Mac OS version just under the big "Mac OS X":
If the eMac is older and you have never upgraded the system software, it's possible that your OS version is too old to run the current iTunes. The current version requires OS 10.5 (Leopard)or higher, which is a pay-for system upgrade.

No phone provides true call blocking. At best, they provide call diversion. Essentially, the call is answered and disconnected automatically. If I recall, Apple is adding call diversion features in iOS 7.

Badge app for message app isn't working

The badge app notifications on my message app recently stopped working. So whenever I get a message, and my phone is unlocked, I am not notified. So, I have been missing important texts from family. I looked at the notifications and they are turned on, as are the sounds. I do have the banner notifications turned off. Could this be the reason? Any suggestions as to how to get the badge notifications working again?
Just a side note, I have tried turning the settings on and off and restarting the phone, to no avail. I also tried a hard shut down of the app and restarted it and that also had no results.

If the notifications for Messages still aren't functioning, the next step would be to reinstall iOS on your device by placing it in Recovery Mode, then choosing Update in iTunes.
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

There is no phone # associated with your iPod Touch for use with iMessage. It actually uses your Apple ID email address instead. To view this email address, head to Settings -> iMessage -> Receive At.
