Nested symbols assign to the same symbol created dynamically
I would like to create nested categories from one symbols.
I have got symbol called categories_sym
I have parent symbol like this:
I would like to create nested symbols from categories_sym asigned to cat_container executed from products_details_sym

Is it possible to create nested symbol in the same symbol created dinamically?
Yes, it's possible, but note that your child_container is actually a div and not a symbol. (The icons are different between a symbol and a container.)

we have some tasks coming from our back- end system. When a certain task needs to be substituted to a colleague, no problem ... for one task. When we wish to assign him a second task, we get following message :

Is substitution only limited to one task per person? What would be a workaround? It's possible to create for each combination of tasks a definition in the back- end which is available from the substition drop down list, but this is not what our customer would like to see.

Manage a resource work load when several resources are assigned to the same tasks
I think I am confusing myself!
Basically I have multiple resources assigned to the same tasks throughout my schedule. I have levelled the schedule and here lies the issue. There are often instances where a resource will not have any work loaded for them for a long period, because they are
waiting for another/other resources to become available before they can move on to the next task.
There are also lots of days where they are working but not being fully utilised too.
Is this simply because we have too many resources assigned to the same tasks and there is no way around the issues we are finding?
Can you offer a solution that doesn't involve creating the same task 4 times (if 4 people are working on it at the same time) and assigning them all individually to the duplicated tasks? the schedule will be so long if I have to do this.
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated

Error: all members of structure are assigned to the same switch
Hi,
I have transported my query to QA environment sucessfully with error code (0). When I execute my query is runs fine but it gives me error "all members of structure 'Key Figures' are assigned to the same switch, query will fail if switch is not active" when I open it in Bex Designer.
Any idea what could be the reason.

any idea what´s behind this "error message" if re-importing the query seems to solve it? We only face this issue with a query in our productive system, but not in the development or test system. And because we can not test it, we have not implemented the note yet.
Has anyone implemented the note already?

Update book inventory with NEW company code assignment for the same site

Our company have this business scenario:
the site has run in Company Code A for several month with business of Material Management function, then the site have to be changed to Company Code B for financial requirement .
What we want is we change the CC assignment by OX18 for site master without changing the site number (creating a new site master ),except for the open purchasing or sales document clearance , is there any way we can update the book inventory with new profit center corresponding to the CC B ?

The position name is "driver" and the no. of the "driver" positions is 187.
I forgot to assign job to positions during the creation of the "driver" positions.
The same job has to be assigned to all the 187 positions.
Using po03 and the task profile in simple maintainance jobs can be assigned to position.
I wanted to know, if there is any method using which the job can be assigned to all the 187 positions at once in simple maintainance.

Problem with embeding the same view in dynamically created view container

I am getiing a dump when i try to embed the same view inside the dynamically created view container of
dynamically created tabs of a tabstrip
The requirement go like this, i have 2 views in which i have have to embed the 2nd view to view1 where i have an empty
tabstrip without tabs. During runtime i create tabs as well as view containers accordingly and then try to embed view2 in tabs.

However onaction tab select i change the embeding position( 'FILE_PERS_EDIT/view container name of different tab') of the view2 an try to embed view2 in a different tab.
At this point i get a dump stating View2 already present in the window 'FILE_PERSISTENCE_WND' of component.
I think, the view2 embediing has to be removed before i add the view2 in a different tab
Kindly let me know how to remove view2 embedding from tab1 before i add a view2 to a different tab or is there any other
means to handle this problem?

Ann.: I my example, I had 3 views: VW_MAIN which embedds VW_SUB. VW_SUB has the tabs in it and VW_SUB embedds VW_CONTENT.

I have 4 Macs and I had the same iPhoto library on each of them. When I chose to turn on the iCloud Photo Library on each of them, each Mac, each one of them uploaded the library to iCloud Photo Library.. Now it appears that I have many duplicates in the new Library. Is it adding each of the 4 libraries to the mix? It's a real problem as I have 25,000 pictures - 70GB in my library. So paused the upload on 2 of the Macs about half way through in case it is creating duplicates, until I get some answers. Any help would sure be appreciated.
I'm in the same boat as well. I'm doing one mac at a time and seeing how it works. Howev the upload is so slow, who knows when it will be done.

for clean versioning and maintenance of development branches we use different versions of a software component in the ESR. It looks like this:

Here is the problem:
Service interfaces are assigned to proxy objects by using the key type/name/namespace of the repository object (refer SAP note [886682|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/886682]). That means that the software component version of the repository objects is ignored when generating ABAP proxy objects.
Since in our case (see above) all service interfaces have the same type/name/namespace combination, all services interfaces get assigned automatically to the same ABAP proxy object. That makes it impossible to maintain different versions of ABAP proxies for the corresponding service interfaces!
As a workaround we only have two opportunities:
Either we add the version number of the SCV to the namespace (e.g. http://namespace.com/project/a/v1, http://namespace.com/project/a/v2, ...) or we add the version number to the interface name (e.g. Interface1_v1, Interface1_v2, ...) in order to distinguish the service interfaces for the proxy generation.
Both solutions are very ugly in my opinion, since they make our clean versioning with SAP's software component model useless.
Are these solutions the only way to seperate the generated ABAP proxies for each version of a SVC? If yes, then I can hardly believe, that nobody else in the SDN ever mentioned this - in my opinion - huge flaw in the ABAP proxy generation.
Please correct me, if I missed something.

Inside an SAP system, there is only one valid SWCV. So when you decide to use version 1.1 for one system, you cannot use 1.2 for the same system.
I don't exactly know, what you mean with "inside an SAP system". We connect different versions of a client application to different versions of service applications. Newer version may contain an enhanced data model (new fields in the messages, etc.). For that reason, we split the development into branches using different SWCVs in order to handle e.g. change requests for older versions seperately. This approach is a common pattern and it is also the purpose of using software component versions.

After a check on the file CheckedInt.h, it was narrowed down to the following code that resulted in the failure (the variable assigned, isSigned is the same as variable being declared) :

This code, however compiles without problems in gcc-4.8.
A workaround was to use a different variable declared in the template (e.g. bool IsTSigned = IsSigned<T>). But I just wanted to be sure whether is this a bug in 12.4 Beta or whether coding rules in templates do allow this kind of declaration? Kindly advise. Thanks.

Historical and transaction data in the same tables creates perf problems
Our Oracle based application is slow partly due to the fact that historical data are kept in the same table as transactional data. For example records about deceased patients, patients treated 5 years ago...etc, are kept in the one and only one patient table, which is needed to run the daily process of the hospital. So gradually all our major tables PATIENTS, CHARTS, NAMES, APPOINTMENTS have grown very large and since most of our SQL join all these tables at the same time, then all screens and reports run very slowly. I have introduced the idea that we should split all these tables in two: historical PATIENTS data, and CURRENT PATIENTS data...the same with all the others. A nice system would first search in the smaller transactional tables, which would run faster being smaller, and if no data found, then fallback to the historical tables. But this would require programming. From what I have read mateialized view could solve part of our problem. We could have views containing for example only one year worth of the data, and I guess any changes could be later replicated in the base table. What I dont know is what to do if we cannot find the patient in the matealized views ? Do I need to fallback to another SQL which will search in the initial base tables ? Anyway we can implement this without programming ? Tx.

Iframe on a symbol created dynamically
Hello,
-I have a button that creates a symbol dynamically. That is OK
-then I move this symbol with TweenMax. That is Ok, I tested it.
-and finally I want to load into this symbol an external URL. That doesn't work.
The problem is, I think, I don"t know how to address this dynamically created symbol.
This is my code :

How can multiple hard drives to be assigned to the same device/mount?
Every time I boot up with two or more drives besides the boot drive - the drives get assigned to different devices and their mount points get all mixed up.
