NetBeans 6.5 - Decompiler - Not Working

Hi,
it seems that the NBJAD plugin does not work for Netbeans 6.5. Does anyone
know whether this plugin will be updated?
or alterntively, if there's any other currently available plugin that would
give the same functionality?
what i would like to do is to view the decompiled content of classes from my
Libraries folder of a Netbeans project.
thanks in advance for any input!

Hello Brian,
thanks for the solution - unfortunately- NOT WORKING ;(
I get to the step of lowering the output resolution as you describe it and it gives me a message of error with timing and optimal picture on the 2nd screen BUT when I then change it to ANY resolution - it just goes into black and then energy saving mode. I haven't done the PRAM like you before though...maybe that's an issue here?
Dang...I don't want to go through the hassle of reverting to 10.6.4...poooh.
Anyhow - thanks for the advice - i you have missed some minor detail on your procedure that makes this work - please let me know. I am still out of picture here through the HDMI. *****...just had the cables pitted across the whole apartment

  • Java NetBeans and Firefox will not work together

    I'm just beginnig to learn Java an have installed jdk 1.6.0 and NetBeans IDE 5.5.
    In NetBeans I have the possibility to chose Firefox as a tool to read docs (over the internet).
    But when I try to set it up with the following parameters:
    /usr/bin/mozilla-firefox -remote "openURL({URL})"I get the following error:
    Cannot execute /usr/bin/mozilla-firefox.
    Check that valid external browser property is set.
    From Tools menu choose Options.
    Click Advance Options button, expand External Tool and Settings node,
    then expand Web Browsers and choose valid browser.The only thing I can imagine is there will be something wrong with the command but I can't figure out whats wrong.
    The Firefox shell-script is located an named as above (/usr/bin/mozilla-firefox)
    and when I click at it in konqueror i start nicely.
    So ...??

    Hello everyone... unfortunately i have a similar issue. I have a fresh load of openSuSE 10.2 on a Dell Laptop. It is (intended to be) my main Java/AJAX development box, and I cannot get NetBeans to launch Firefox. A detailed account of my symptoms is below:
    OS Config:
    openSuSE 10.2
    Firefox 2.0 (openSuSE pre-packaged version)
    IDE Config:
    configuration:
    A) Browser set to Firefox (/usr/bin/firefox), arguments: -remote "openURL({URL})"
    B) No browser windows open
    1. Try to launch project (or click on a link in the Welcome page to go to NetBeans.org) and nothing happens. Status bar says "Running command /usr/bin/firefox" but nothing happens.
    2. Run command /usr/bin/firefox -remote "openURL(http://www.google.com)" from a terminal get message "no running window found"
    configuration:
    A) Browser set to Firefox (/usr/bin/firefox), arguments: -remote "openURL({URL})"
    B) At least 1 browser window open
    1. Try to launch project (or click on a link in the Welcome page to go to NetBeans.org) and nothing happens. Status bar says "Running command /usr/bin/firefox" but nothing happens.
    2. Run command /usr/bin/firefox -remote "openURL(http://www.google.com)" from a terminal and new browser opens with google.com
    configuration
    A) Browser set to Firefox (usr/lib/firefox), arguments: URLB) No browser window open.
    1. Launch project or click on link on welcome screen and Firefox launches with correct URL. However, upon closing firefox, I get the error from Netbeans stating that it could not run command /usr/bin/firefox (although everything ran fine)
    2. run command /usr/bin/firefox http://www.google.com from the terminal and it launches firefox to google, but blocks (keeps focus away from the terminal window) until you close firefox and you are given back control of the terminal.
    configuration
    A) Browser set to Konqueror, arguments : {URL}
    B) No browser window open
    1. Launch a project or click on any of the links, and everything runs like a champ, no fuss from NetBeans.
    This didn't happen on my SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10.0 install a few weeks back. That, however, came with Firefox 1.5.x and I dont recall if I updated it to 2.0. At any rate, it seems to be something with the way the -remote command is executed. Does anyone have any more ideas? I want to use this machine for my Java/AJAX and really don't want to have to default to Konqueror.
    Thanks in advance!

  • .jar file is not working properly :developed in NETBEANS

    Hi Gurus,
    i am using NETBEANS IDE 7.2.
    i am developing a project that interacts with databases 10g and COM ports of machine , these all processes are performed by .bat file which i am trying to run from jFramform , code works perfectly .bat file is also called perfectly when i run the project using F6 from the NETBEANS, for testing i placed some dialogue boxes on the form to test it ,
    but when i run executable .jar  file , form run successfully and dialogue box works perfectly but .bat file is not called by executable .jar file.
    this is how i call the .bat file...
      String filePath = "D:/pms/Libraries/portlib.bat";
            try {
              Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(filePath);
            } catch (Exception e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
    and below is the contents of portlib.bat file
    java -jar "D:\SMS\SMS\dist\SMS.jar"
    you must probably ask why i am calling a .jar file using .bat file .
    reason is that this .jar project sends message using GSM mobile , System.exit(); is compulsory to complete a job and then do the next one ,
    if i use the same file to execute this job it makes exit to entire the application (hope you can understand my logic).
    that's why i use extra .jar file in .bat file , when single job is completed .bat exits itself and new command is given.
    Problem is that code is working perfectly in NETBEANS when i run the project but when i run .jar then .bat file is not working  ,
    thanks.

    Thanks Sir ,
    You need to first test an example that works like the one in the article.
    There are plenty of other examples on the web - find one you like:
    http://javapapers.com/core-java/os-processes-using-java-processbuilder/
    I tried this one.
      try {
                ProcessBuilder dirProcess = new ProcessBuilder("D:/SMS/SMS/Send_message.bat");
                 File commands = new File("D:/SMS/SMS/Send_message.bat");
                 File dirOut = new File("C:/process/out.txt");
                 File dirErr = new File("C:/process/err.txt");
               dirProcess.redirectInput(commands);
                 dirProcess.redirectOutput(dirOut);
               dirProcess.redirectError(dirErr);
                 dirProcess.start();
            } catch (IOException ex) {
                Logger.getLogger(mainform.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
    as instructed in the article i compiled  both the projects at same version or sources and libraries which is 1.7
    here is my version details
    C:\>javac -version
    javac 1.7.0_07
    C:\>java -version
    java version "1.7.0_07"
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_07-b11)
    Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 23.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing)
    inside the NETBEANS IDE c:\process\err.txt  remains empty and code works perfectly , but when I run executable .jar file( by double clicking on that file in dist directry) then c:\process\err.txt becomes full with this error text and there is no response from calling D:\SMS\SMS\send_message.bat
    here is the error text

  • JasperReports does not work outside Netbeans

    Hi guys,
    Background story: application with a couple of forms, the data can be stored and saved from a sqlite database. In the end the forms need to be saved as a PDF.
    Netbeans 6.7, JasperReports 4.0.2.
    Libraries in my Classpath: Commons-beanutils, Commons collections, commons digester, commons javaflow, commons logging, iText, Jasperreports
    I tried to use JasperReports for this matter. It runs perfectly when in Netbeans, and my PDF is generated.
    However, when I try to run the compiled .jar file from windows explorer... the whole JasperReports part does not work at all.
    I made a simple example showing my problem. It produces a nice 1 line PDF when in netbeans, but outside Netbeans, nothing again.
    Could you give me some advice on this? Or maybe an alternative for JasperReports?
    Thanks alot,

  • .jar not working when building project with netbeans plugin and log4j

    hey..
    subject tells everything..if i build my project referencing log4j, i get a .jar file with 280 kb which is executable
    if i add log4j and do some logging, code still works in netbeans, but buildung produces a .jar with 80 kb and an
    attached lib-folder with the log4j.jar in it..if i uncheck copy requested libraries, i just get the 80 kb .jar file which
    is not working
    any hints?

    Are you building the jar file using the fxdeploy ant task to build the Jar? That is required to have an executable jar file.
    Also there was a change to the netbeans project structure, which may be a contributing factor.
    Things to try: Upgrade to the latest netbeans 7.1 beta build, set up a new Java platform in nb that includes JavaFX, create a new JavaFX project and build it. This should produce an executable jar.

    PS. I understand that solution may be obvious or i have not noticed relevant topict, but i am stuck.

    Solution of this problem was at this page (Comment 14 solved everything).
    Problem was in jvi plugin.
    You should perform all described actions and then install plugin from: http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/3891 … ate-center to enable jvi support.

    thanks for your reply but I need more specific operation.
    maybe I am not very clear about the problem one. I mean when I run the code in standard mode, if I click the browse button, a window will pop out and I can choose a video file from my local harddisk. but if I run it in "web start execution" mode and "run in browser" mode. the browse button make no response when I click it.

  • Mouselistner is not working with jtable in the browser

    Hi
    I am having a problem with jTable.
    I added a mouselistener to table header to sort table but when i run that applet from my netbean ide it works fine but when i run that applet in my browser it doesn't work, i have tested, its not even generate mouseclick event .Please help me guys.
    I call this function after calling initComponents() method of JApplet.
    public void setTableAction()
    //set mouselistener to sort table on click of table header
    final JTableHeader head= jTable1.getTableHeader();
    head.addMouseListener(new java.awt.event.MouseAdapter()
    public void mouseClicked(java.awt.event.MouseEvent evt)
    Vector data= ((DefaultTableModel)jTable1.getModel ()).getDataVector();
    sortTable(data, head.columnAtPoint(evt.getPoint()));
    //set action map to change the default action performed for enter key pressed
    InputMap imap = jTable1.getInputMap(JTable.WHEN_ANCESTOR_OF_FOCUSED_COMPONENT);
    KeyStroke enterKey = KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_ENTER, 0);
    KeyStroke tabKey = KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_TAB, 0);
    final Action oldAction= jTable1.getActionMap().get(imap.get(tabKey)); // get map to set enter key.
    imap.put(enterKey, "enter"); // set enter key
    Action newAction = new AbstractAction(){
    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) {
    oldAction.actionPerformed(e);
    JTable table= (JTable)e.getSource();
    table.changeSelection(0,0,false,false);
    if(table.isCellEditable(0,0))
    String sTemp= (String)table.getValueAt(0,0);
    if(sTemp.length()>0) {
    if(bRenewItem)
    retrieveRcodeDetails("",sTemp);
    else
    processRCodeDetails(sTemp, e);
    }else
    table.editCellAt(0,0);
    jTable1.getActionMap().put("enter", newAction);
    jTable1.setPreferredScrollableViewportSize(jTable1.getPreferredSize());
    }

    Hi,
    I also am using the Bépo layout with an encrypted drive and encountered the same problem: the Return key does not work.
    It seems to work fine if you use the fr-bepo-latin9 keymap.
    # /etc/vconsole.conf
    KEYMAP=fr-bepo-latin9
    But I also looked at the files /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/bepo/fr-bepo.map.gz and /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/bepo/fr-bepo-latin9.map.gz (you can open gzipped files in vim directly). fr-bepo-latin9.map.gz defines keycode 28 (Return) but fr-bepo.map.gz does not.
    I modified fr-bepo.map.gz:
    # vim /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/bepo/fr-bepo.map.gz # Append that line : "keycode 28 = Return".
    # mkinitcpio -p linux # Rebuild the initramfs.
    The Return key now works, but the Backspace (14, "Delete") and Shift (54) keys don’t work. I found that both the cf.map.gz (french canadian layout) and fr-bepo-latin9.map.gz files define those keycodes as well as other non-printing keys so I copied the following lines from fr-bepo-latin9.map.gz to fr-bepo.map.gz:
    keycode 1 = Escape Escape
    keycode 14 = Delete Delete
    keycode 15 = Tab Tab
    keycode 28 = Return
    keycode 29 = Control
    keycode 42 = Shift
    keycode 54 = Shift
    keycode 56 = Alt
    keycode 58 = Caps_Lock
    keycode 97 = Control
    It works! Don’t forget to rebuild the initramfs after you change the keymap file.
    # mkinitcpio -p linux
    I will send a message to the kbd and bépo projects mailing lists and report back.

  • System.out not working on eclipse

    Greetings...
    I am no longer a newbie on Java, but I have been facing an issue lately that I have been unable to resolve myself, even though it seems to be something so silly.
    I have been using eclipse for development, and by developing a simple "Just to practice" code I have found myself unable to use System class or any of its methods at a certain point. See the code below:
    package one;
    import java.util.Scanner;
    public ClassOne {
    public static void main (String args[]){
    Scanner reader = new Scanner(System.in); /*Works just fine here*/
    int x = 0;
    System.out.println("Type in the number of objects expected"); /*Does not work at all, like if System was something I could not use at all. Not an identifier */
    Scanner readertwo = new Scanner(System.in); /*System does not work here either*/
    }Even if I rewrite the code after that, by erasing the import statement and all other System references in the code, System does not work again.
    If anybody has ever faced the same issue and knows what I am doing wrong and what I can do to fix it, I'd really be grateful.
    Thanks to all, and happy 2009.

    The funniest thing is that if copy and paste the code from somewhere else into eclipse it works. What a drag!!!!
    Thank you.
    Santana TNever seen that error but it sounds to me that your Eclipse installation is screwed up!

    Can someone help?
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hey what's up Gatos.
    Listen I have the same problem and I was wondering if you figured it out since October 2010 (your last post).
    I also get the same IOException exception error. I also have windows 7 64bit, i installed 32 bit version of the SDK and uninstalled any previous versions. The Java ME SDK 3.0 Kit installed as well, and pointing to an appropriate sdk directory. I also tried changing the two configuration files (didn't have to change them because they were correct since I did not have any other version of sdk installed prior to installation of Java ME SDK 3.0.
    So I am experiencing the same exact symptoms and I am wondering if you have resolved this issue yet or if you know of any other source of information that might help me. Your help would be greatly appreciated on this one. Thanks, and please respond even if it is a no if you can.
    **EDIT:**
    The Java ME SDK 3.0 magically started few times too, after displaying manyyyyyyy of these error windows, but it does not happen every time either. HELP

  • My Escape key is not working

    Hi,
    I am Meena.
    I am doing a project using NetBeans and MS-Access.
    When I run my project a internal framed named login loaded on the jdesktoppane which in JFrame.
    So in the login internal frame i used two buttons one for Sign-in and another for sign out.
    So I combined the Sign-in button with Enter key and Sign-out button with Escape key by the following coding.
    I wrote the following coding in LoginInternalFrame->properties->enabled->advanced->Generate PreIntialization Code.
    Action EscFromLogin=new AbstractAction()
    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
        jButton2.doClick();
    Action OkFromLogin=new AbstractAction()
        public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
           jButton1.doClick();
    getRootPane().getInputMap(jButton2.WHEN_IN_FOCUSED_WINDOW).put(KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_ESCAPE,0,false),"Esc_in_Login");
    getRootPane().getActionMap().put("Esc_in_Login",EscFromLogin);
    getRootPane().getInputMap(jButton1.WHEN_IN_FOCUSED_WINDOW).put(KeyStroke.getKeyStroke(KeyEvent.VK_ENTER,0,false),"Ok_in_Login");
    getRootPane().getActionMap().put("Ok_in_Login",OkFromLogin);In the above coding Enter key works well no problem.that is when I press the Enter key ,it combined with Sign-in button and works well.
    But when I press Escape key,it doesnot combined with Sign-off button.
    that is nothing is happening when I press Esc key.
    So i change the Escape key and test with F1 then F2 then F3 all are combined with Sign-off button and works well.But only the escape key is not working.
    But I have so many internal frames .In all internalframes my esc key works well.But not in the first inter frame(login internalframe)
    I couldnot understand the reason.
    Will you please help me to solve.
    Thank you so much.
    Meena

    mmm, i'm doing some tests and the case is working for me... The reason F1,F2 keys works while ESC don't is that some component is "eating" the ESC key. Probably your password textField, but it is not its default behaviour. For example, try to replace the textField with a FormattedTextField, write something into it and press ESC, this first ESC is consumed by the FormattedTextField, if you press ESC a second time the FormattedTextField not consume it, so the ESC keystroke processing is given to the rest of the componentes until one of they consume it (basically). So, how can you solve th problem? Try to determine which component is the "escape-eater". Once you detected it try to determine which properties are set and if this properties can alter the keyboard mapping. The problem can be difficult to repeat for us because the look and feel, java version, etc. can affect the system behaviour too. A global hook to ESC can also be the reason (maybe esc key it's not reaching ths components), try to override ProcessKeyBindings and log the results....

  • {@inheritDoc} not working for Java Classes

    Hello,
    i am using {@inheritDoc} for inherting super class's JavaDoc for a perticular function..
    It is working, if super class is my own class. i am able to see all JavaDoc in child class.
    But when i use {@inheritDoc} for extending JavaDoc of java class it is not working.
    i.e. if i am writing {@inheritDoc} in public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) method..
    It wont show any javadoc..
    How to add it? Do i need to give source of java classes too???
    And if it is Yes, then where to specifiy. and where to find source of Java classes, do they come with JDK? or NetBeans?? (If yes then where it is in JDK or Netbeans???)
    Thanks,
    Nachiket.

    Yes, you need to have the Java source, with the -sourcepath option, as described here:
    Inheriting Comments from J2SE - Your code can also automatically inherit comments from interfaces and classes in the J2SE. You can do this by unzipping the src.zip file that ships with the SDK (it does not contain all source files, however), and add its path to -sourcepath. When javadoc runs on your code, it will load the doc comments from those source files as needed. For example, if a class in your code implements java.lang.Comparable, the compareTo(Object) method you implement will inherit the doc comment from java.lang.Comparable.
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/javadoc/faq/#incrementalbuild
    If you want the full Java source get it from here:
    http://www.sun.com/software/communitysource/j2se/java2/index.xml
