Anyone know how to create a New Administration Landscape in NWA in PI 7.1? Can someone provide step by step? I need this for configuration of NWA for Java System. I don't have any Landscape defined for use as it is a new system.
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
Please follow below tasks to accomplish your requirement
1. Logon your NWA of PI 7.1
2. Choose Configuration Management->Scenarios
3. Click on Configuration Wizard
4. Choose 'All Configuration Tasks' under Configuration Tasks drop down menu
5. Select Display-Change-Create Administration Landscape in NWA SLD
6. Click on 'Start'
7. This Wizard will guide you through the procedure of building new Administration Landscape.
Ofcourse The central system is added into the admin landscape by default.
I hope this helps you.

  • My iTunes account says error 13019 after it has recognized all of the music and I have tried everything that is on this website and everything i can find about how to fix it; I even created in under a new administrator. Any suggestions how to fix it?

My iTunes account says "The iPod "Madison " cannot be synced. An unknown error has occured (13019)" after it has recognized all of the music and has went through every song and it said "Copying  (song)   to "Madison"....." and then after it has went through all of my songs (492) it says the error message. I have tried everything that is on the Apple iTunes website about it, I have created the music account under a new administrator, I've tried everything. What do i do?

I found something that worked.  I had never come across "recovery mode," but found reference to it, how to do it. http://www.ichilton.co.uk/blog/iphone/getting-the-iphone-ipod-touch-into-recover y-mode-48.html
Put the ipod touch in recovery mode and then restored it, setting it up as a new Ipod, rather than restoring from the backup.  Given how much trouble I'd had, I suspected that the backup might be corrupted anyway.
That seems to have resolved everything completely.

  • How do I create a new administrator account?

I want to create a new administrator account and then move everythng (files, etc.) over to the new account. Then I would delete the old account.
How do I do that? I am running 10.7.5 on a Macbook Pro.
    Thanks,
    Catherine

Open System Preferences / Users & Groups with your current admin account.
Click the Lock icon (lower left) to unlock Users & Groups.
Click the "+" sign to add a new user. Select Administrator from the dropdown user type.
Enter the new user's name and password.
You will have to give yourself access to the folders of the new User, otherwise you can't copy files to them. You may also have to change permissions on each file in your folders so your new user has Read/Write access.

I created a new administrator USER account. I deleted the original one but the process never ends. It's been 3 days now. And I can't close preferences window or turn off the computer.
It's stays in the "deleting" but I can't cancel it or close the window.
    What can I do?

Here are two screen shots to show you what I am seeing.  The first screen shot shows it allowing me to select (highlighted in blue) my admin user (which is what I am locced in as).  The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue).  However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens.  It will not change to highlight that user.

  • How to configure new system landscape in portal server for bsp iview

    Hi
can you tell me what are the necessary parameters (apart form default parameters that were there while creating new system landscape) for configuring a system landscape for using it in bsp iviews.
    thanks & regards
    Ashutosh

    Hello,
what you call system name has to be the system alias, and this alias has to be the same between DEV/QUAL/PROD environment.
Your portal application will look for data/BAPIs/etc... with this alias. Your portal application will know on which environment it has to retrieve data/BAPIs/etc... will be defined in each system object you have defined for each environment.

As far as i know in Netweaver 7.1...
Visual Admin has been removed and all the visual admin work is done by NWA...
When you run Jcmon  it will give you Message only for internal use.

Someone hacked my computer and set up a new administrative account by re-registering my computer. I can not access this account nor delete it. How can I fix this and get my computer back to the way it was? And also prevent this from being able to happen again. I have the link the kid used (http://www.ihackintosh.com/2009/05/how-to-hack-the-user-password-in-mac-os-x-wit hout-an-os-x-cd/) Apparently he used hack 2. HELP PLEASE!

Not sure why you can't delete that account. If you have admin privileges, you should be able to. Sounds like you only removed the Home Folder for that account.
You should highlight/select the account you want to remove and then click the minus button. Might need to unlock the padlock with your admin password.

  • New administrator/owner

    Hi
this is probably a dumb question, but here goes; I currently have a G4 iMac running 10.2.8 which I'm about to give my wife (I'm getting a new G5iMac). If she buys a copy of Tiger and does a clean install (wipes out my stuff) will the G4 automatically recognise her as the new administrator/owner? We don't need to share her iMac.
    thanks
    ian
    G4 iMac   Mac OS X (10.2.x)

    Ian:
Doing a clean install or erase and install is pretty radical and intrusive if all you want to do is to set up a new admin account.
If you don't need to wipe the disk clean before setting up the account here's how to do it.
Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences> Accounts. Click on Accounts.
Click the under Login Options to add an account.
Check the box to let that user "Allow User to administer this computer." You are now creating a second admin account. Be sure you give it a good password and that you remember it!
Log out by going to the Apple Menu and select Logout whoever at the very bottom of the list.
Go back to System Preferences > Accounts, and find your original user.
Uncheck the box for that account that allows it to administer the computer. You've now changed your regular account into a Standard user account.
If you want to delete the old account select it and click on the under Login Options. You will be asked if you want to delete it completely or save the user folder. Make you choice and proceed.
You can now archive and install or upgrade to Tiger.
The computer's shortname will remain the same, but that can be changed, too. For now you need to decide how you want to go about setting up the new admin account.
    Good luck.

  • Designate a new Administrator

I can't seem to recall how to designate a new Administrator for a NetWare 6.5, SP8 server. I first created a new user object and in the properties of my user object I set Security Equal to Me to the new user object. When I login to iManager as the new user there are no roles or tasks available. I know this probably isn't the best way to do this since if my user object gets deleted then this other user will lose rights.
I next tried, using iManager, Rights, Modify Trustees, selected the tree object, Add Trustee, selected the new user object and clicked Assign Rights. I gave the user Supervisor Rights for [All Attributes Rights] and [Entry Rights]. When I login to iManager as the user I still do not see any roles with this account.
    Any advice appreciated.

I always forget about the View Object mode. Thanks!

  • I'm trying to move 2 different iTunes library's (my PC crashed) from an iPod and iPod Touch to my iMac via a 3rd party app. Will I be able to use this app on the 2 new administrator accounts that I will set up?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! The app I'm thinking of using cost $35 and is supposed to move everything from the device to my imac, but will each administrator acct be able to use it? Is there another way?

To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
and select the Library that you moved.  That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.
Your first option didn't work because you imported one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
Your second option didn't work because you simply referenced her library on the old machine.

  • How to create an new administrator with ldif files

I need another administrator as orcladmin for create an new tree in OID 11g which groups and right must this administrator have?

Although you can create a superuser account that is able to manage entries, it won't be able to do so using ODSM until 11g Patchset 4.
What this means is that you may use ldapbind/ldapmodify/ldapadd/ldapdelete commands with this new user to do the same operations that you would normally only do using the superuser, but that until a future patchset (currently slated for 11g patchset 4), this user will not be able to login to ODSM.
Attempts to login to ODSM as this new user will fail with:
    Error:
ODSM allows only super user to connect to OID.
Connected user is not a super user.
Identify the groups that the superuser is in, as follows:
    ldapsearch -p <OID_port> -h <OID_host> -D "cn=orcladmin" -w <pwd> -b "" -s sub "uniquemember=cn=orcladmin" dn
Create a new user entry, to be used as the second superuser.
Add this user as a uniquemember to all the same groups returned in. This can either be done manually, or via the ldapmodify/ldapadd command with an LDIF file with the following syntax:
    newadmin.ldif
    dn: cn=odisgroup,cn=odi,cn=oracle internet directory
    changetype: modify
    add: uniquemember
    uniquemember: cn=myadmin,cn=users,dc=myorg,dc=com
    dn: cn=Provisioning Admins,cn=changelog subscriber,cn=oracle internet directory
    changetype: modify
    add: uniquemember
    uniquemember: cn=myadmin,cn=users,dc=myorg,dc=com
    ldapadd -p <OID_port> -h <OID_host> -D "cn=orcladmin" -w <pwd> -f newadmin.ldif
