Apart from the fact that product codes are usually unique to a country (and in some cases to a network operator), you shouldn't have any issues regarding your region. -

I have been using one apple ID for 4 family members. Up until now it hasn't been a problem but now that we all have our own devices how do I create new apple ID's for each of us and them move the approprioate things from the original apple ID account to the new ones for each of us?

Providing you aren't trying to change you Apple iCloud email address you can make changes at My Apple ID -
I changed my Apple ID to my new email address successfully for the iTunes and App store but it won't work for iCloud and it won't recognize my password. I read that this can't be done. How am I supposed to get into iCloud? I plan on getting rid of my old email address which is my old Apple ID so how is that going to work?

I changed my Apple ID to my new email and now cannot find any way to access icloud. Unfortunately I had allowed icloud to hijack my airbook files, so of course I am afraid I will lose them tomorrow when I exchange my iphone for a new one and cannot keep an icloud account i cannot access. Recently, I bought a new laptop (a Lenovo), so I downloaded iTunes to it. When I bought new music from iTunes for the first time on the new computer, I went to my music library and there was no music, except for the new songs I had just bought. I have no idea what happened, I've had hundreds of songs I've bought from iTunes or downloaded from bought CDs over the years, which are all still on my iPod (nano, from 2008), and suddenly they just didn't seem to exist. I have yet to access the iTunes account on my previous laptop to see if my music is still there, but I would assume yes. When I went to sync my iPod to my iTunes to at least get the new songs to the iPod (so that my complete library can be on at least one device), I realized that in order to sync my iPod to my iTunes, I would be deleting all my old music and replacing it with the new. So now, I only have a few new songs on my laptop's iTunes, and only my old songs on my iPod. In both cases I paid for all the music, so I don't want to just delete any of it. Is there any way to fix this?
Also-I tried to use my backup hard drive, but I wasn't able to drag/transfer/send/move any of my muic files onto my iTouch when the iTouch was connected to my computer. I can't figure out why it won't let me do that.
The only thing I can see when I open my iTouch on my computer is my file with photos. I can't see videos, music, or anything else. What's going on? -
The new share everything plans are offering less service for more of my money. Below are my currents costs & services vs what the new plan.
I have a total of 4 lines, (2) smart phones and (2) basic phones which cost's $180/mo. on my current/old plan.
- $80 per month for talk/txt (700 min / unlimited txt).
- $10 per month for each basic phone (no data)
- $40 per month for each smart phone (unlimited data)

The new share everything plan will cost me $220/mo. That's $40 more per month than my current plan.
- $80 per month for the unlimited txt/call & 6GB package (This based on average data usage of 3Gb/mo of data use on each smart phone)
- $30 per month for each basic phone
- $40 per month for each smart phone
The only advantage of upgrading to the new plan would be for subsidized phone pricing, in which case would cost me nothing since I would likely choose the no-cost phones. In the end this is going to cost me an extra $40/mo. for a 24 month contract wich totals $960. Another option: Instead of giving $960 to verizon, I could use that to purchase used or new phones (as needed) from some place other than verizon, and keep my current/old plan.
These phone plan prices are getting crazy, which is leading me to think seriously of other alternatives.
One that keeps coming to mind is eliminating verizon and getting prepaid phones with pay as you go minutes. The idea is to use them as PHONES and nothing else. This would save me a bundle of money. I'm thinking of vacations, dinner with friends (on me), a new car.

I agree the basic line charge is what is making it worse for those that just want a phone (dumb phone).
Your reasoning that it will only cost an additional $20 is not quite the way I see it. You are forgetting that additional data will be needed for the phones. In other words I would need to up the data to 9-10GB. That's an additional $10-20 per month. So I would be going from $180/mo to $260/mo for total of $1920 over a 24 mo period. Not to mention I would likely be paying a considerable amount for the phones as the dicounted price goes down significantly as you add lines. That being the case, factor in another $500 or so bringing the total extra cost at $2420.
When you do the math the absurdity of the pricing becomes more clear. -

Do any fellow iTunes U administrators know anything about this? How is existing content presented in the new app? Would we need to change anything? How do we access / make available the new features?
The new features sound fantastic but it would have been nice to have some warning. I appreciate that Apple has to keep specific details about developments confidential but it's slightly disconcerting that iTunes U administrators were not forewarned about this new development and that there has been no mention of it on this forum. Also - and at the risk of sounding like a broken record - it really would be helpful for iTunes U administrators to have a private forum (perhaps an add-on to Public Site Manager) where we could discuss issues and share ideas and best practice etc.Greetings Tom;

'm having a problem with downloading and installing the new version of itunes for windows (11.1.4) I have done everything the troubleshooting article has said and it is still not working properly. I bought a new external hard drive for backups, but time machine won't do a full back up.
I think it is remembering backing up onto previous external hard drives, which I don't own anymore. How do I do a new full backup?
When I bought the new (used) iMac, I also bought an external hard drive for backups. It worked fine, but my husband stole it.
Then I bought a new external hard drive (Seagate) and it worked fine for three weeks, then died.
So I just got a new external hard drive, which was put together from an internal hard drive and a hard drive enclosure.
Time machine did the first backup today, and it should have taken 9 hours like it did on the previous first time full back up. Instead, it took 30 minutes. That can't be right. I want to start over and do a full backup to make sure everything gets onto my new external hard drive, but I can't figure out how to do that. As per the Union Budget 2013 - 2014, for individuals having a taxable income less than 5 Lac, a tax credit of INR 2,000 would be given. While executing payroll (TCode: PC00_M40_CALC_SIMU) for employees, when a cross financial year retro is triggered from previous year, tax credit amount is being generated. However, it is not reducing the overall tax liability of the employee. This behavior is incorrect. For an employee 'X' a cross financial retro is triggered. After considering the cross FY arrears, employees' taxable income comes out to be less than 5 Lac. In this case, a tax credit of INR 2,000 is generated. Suppose, the overall tax liability of employee 'X' was INR 10,000, then even after tax credit his liability remains 10,000. Tax liability for employee shall become INR 8,000 (10,000 - 2,000).
