New Organizational plan

Dear friends,
We are in face of an enormous organizational re-organization in my company.
I think the better way is to create a new organizational plan with the new structure, but, I have a lot of doubts:
- What about the old shopping carts ?
- I guess both organizational plans can not work together and one of this have to be on hold...
I tried to create a new one organizational plan and I did it, but, when I try to establish the validity periods then I get the following message error:
No changes to data, periods undone
All of the information about will be wellcome

I guess all existing users assigned to the old structure will be the same in the new one.
This should mean you will move them to the new organizational plan ?
If this is correct, i would advise you points below regarding your request (even if i never did it) if you do not use a standalone scenario:
- create your new organizational plan with a begining validity period corresponding to the date you should switch on it,
- "close" all your purchasing documents in SRM by making the goods/services receipt before this date,
- when no document created with the old organizational structure remain, put a ending validity period with the day date for all its organizational units,
- move users to their new organizational unit,
- keep the old organizational plan.
Some variants could exist if you do not keep old purchasing organizations, purchasing groups, company code, etc.
If there is no modification for Financial and Controlling, invoices will remain possible in the backend.
Here are my first suggestions. You will have also to do your own test play.
Concerning you error message, at which node level did you create your new org. plan ?
The root node for both are at the same level ?

    Based on what I have read, it says that the workflow table (table V_T16FW) and SAP HR-PA-OM (organizational plan) must be set up to support the solution. 
    Question:  If we are routing the workflow to a UserID, i.e. Object Type = US (and not an HR data object like Position or Job), do we require an Organizational Plan to be also set up?

    What about assigning tasks to users, etc. that is usually done in org plan, correct?  If object type US is only used, I assume this is not required either?
    Also, what is the benefit of using Object type = 'S', i.e. position?  At my company, most of the time, when people leave, the position is deleted and a new one is created (there are a couple reasons for this), which means, even if we did use positions, the workflow table would still need to be maintained everytime a person leaves/joins the company (I understand if only the user to position mapping changes, then it makes sense to use positions, and therefore the workflow table stays constant, and only the user to position mapping changes).  Are there any other benefits of using S instead of US?
    Also, is it possible to NOT use a workflow table, and ONLY define an organizational plan?  I was thinking to activate user exit M06B0001, and perhaps ONLY maintain an org plan, and use this to determine approver, rather than maintaining both MM workflow table and SAP Organizational Plan (HR-PA-OM).  Bottom line, we want to maintain as little data as possible.

    Its one time enabling at Organization Planning check box at project type, you cannot change it once defined, other way around is end date the project type and create new one

    It creates a plan called [test]. But I don't know how to create a plan with one or more tasks in it: the tasks property is read only.

    If you have a task list already, you would need to enumerate through it and add one by one...

  • Error when creating a new Organization in Deployment Manager

    I am trying to create a new Organization to an existing CRM environment and I keep getting the error below. The user deploying the new Organization has full control on all the security groups and Admin rights on the servers that Host SQL and CRM
    application. The CRM environment is 2011 on Premise that has been setup for IFD.
    We currently have 2 other organizations that are already in the environment, so the new org would be a third. I am more than glad to provide any firther information that I have to anyone that can help us resolve this issue. I also have a log file that I
    saved after the failed creation attempt. I can provide the contents of the log file to anyoen who can help. Its too long to add here.
    The section of the log file that shows the error is just above the screen shot. It looks like a deletion error. My queston is why is there an attempt at deleting anything if all I am trying to do is create a new Organization. This is not an import or
    upgrade.

  • New Dial plan & Voice policies not taking effect with Polycom CX 600 Desktop Phone in production deployment, Worked fine in Testing

    Hi,
    We are in the process of Migrating Cisco CUCM & Voice Gateway (From another vendor to Cisco).
    The requirement is all internal calls between Cisco IP Phones & Lync to be flown through CUCM. Means internal extension to extension. Remaining all calls like Mobile, National, International, Toll Free, Emergency, Shared numbers calling to be routed
    to Cisco Voice Gateway.
    We created the test dial plan, Voice policies, Route and assigned it to couple of user from Lync (2 extensions) and from Cisco side we have taken 2 IP Phones which is pointed to new CUCM. We tested all below scenarios,everything was working fine.
    Lync to Lync Call using internal Extension number – Routed through Cisco new CUCM
    Lync to Cisco Call using internal Extension number – Routed through Cisco new CUCM
    Cisco to Lync Call using internal Extension number – Routed through Cisco new CUCM
    Lync to Hotline Numbers (66XX, 68XX Numbers) – Routed through Cisco Gateway
    Lync to Shared Numbers starting with 600 (Verified the number 600535353) - Routed through Cisco Gateway
    Lync to Emergency numbers & Toll Free Numbers (Not verified the emergency Number as we decided to do it at end) - Routed through Cisco Gateway
    Lync to Landline Numbers – Any 7 digit numbers - Routed through Cisco Gateway
    Lync to National Numbers – Starting with 3,4,6,7,8 followed by 7 digits - Routed through Cisco Gateway
    Lync to Mobile Phones – Starting with 05 contains exactly 10 digits - Routed through Cisco Gateway
    Lync to International Numbers – Starting 00 contains at least 11 digits - Routed through Cisco Gateway
    All Incoming calls – From Landline, Mobiles, International Numbers - Routed through Cisco Gateway

    But when we roll out to the production we are facing issues listed below
    1) The phones we used during testing are working which is using same dial plan, Voice policy, Route, PSTN Usage. But from production most of the phones are not working (using the same dial plan, voice policy, Route). Also Problem is only with external calls
    as the internal calls are working fine between Cisco & Lync even in production (Routed through CUCM) NOTE: All incoming calls are working fine (From international, local, national, extension)
    2) How long its going to take for Lync to push the new voice policies, Dial plans to the Phones?
    3) Is there a way to forcefully update the policies, dial plans to the Phone?
    4) Also the environment is using over 100 dial plans, so I just copied and pasted the Normalization rules that we tested and working fine.  Most of the dial plans are assigned to individual users as every dial plan contains a normalization rule for
    international calling with Unique Prefix (Example: User John international Normalization rules says #1234#00#CountrycodePhonenumber, means if John has to place the international call he need to dial #1234# followed by 00 and then country code, then actual
    phone number). In this case how long its take for the users / phones to get updated with new dial plans? 
    6) Is it recommended to use multiple dial plans ? What are the best practices?
    5) Also calls are working fine one & failing on subsequent tries. Means when I dial first 1 or 2 times. Call fails, but when I try 3rd time and subsequently it works. After some again there will be failure during 1 or 2 attempts. Why is it so?
    6) After updating the dial policies, voice Route, Voice policies If i reboot all the phones from Switch, Will the changes take effect immediately?
    7) Also when some one calling from mobile or external number to Lync extensions they cant here any Dial tones or caller tunes? Its working fine when they call Cisco Extensions. Also to Lync its working if we dial in E.164 Format, if we dial like 023XXXXX
    format its not working. Any guess about this issue?

    Hi,
    1.  As all incoming call worked normally, please double check outgoing ports for Lync FE Server and Mediation Server.

    2.  When an administrator makes a change to Lync Server (for example, when an administrator creates a new voice policy or changes the Address Book server configuration settings) that change is recorded in the Central Management store.
    In turn, the change must then be replicated to all the computers running Lync Server services or server roles.
    So it may not replication completely immediately.
    3.  You can run the following cmdlet with Lync Server Management Shell on FE server to
    forcibly replicate information to a computer: Invoke-CsManagementStoreReplication
    4.  As you used over 100 dial plans, it may be the issue of multiple dial plans. Would you please tell us why you created different dial plan for individual user with unique prefix?
    5.  Multiple dial plans and undue normalization rules may cause call fail. You can double check the normalization rule.

    We have a lot of purchasing types and we need a good report that can give as a clear picture of the purchasing process according to the organization units (departments). We have one purchase organization and a lot of purchase groups,  and the way that the system is built doesnu2019t support this requirement. We need a report that is based on the organization plan.
    For example:
    We need the option to extract all HR unit purchase documents or all direct supply goods that are purchased by the supply chain department. The report also needs to give a clear picture of the purchase operations and costs of every unit.

    Thanks for your replies. Note 1055921 is not relevant for my process. Email Id etc is maintained for the user.
    I have made one single user through SU01. Then I am using USERS_GEN, I am giving country code, org ID. Then system asks " area of user", I enter the userid. After that, this error comes.
    Default country is US and no tax system is there in SPRO. I am using SRM component version 5.0.
    I am lost!

  • How to activate an old iphone (after restoring it) without a new data plan

    First off thanks for any help – I've seen the support article Using an iPhone without a wireless service plan and it no longer seems to reflect the current setup for the iTunes Store.
    I have an old original iPhone that I've been using as an iPod. Works fine, but for some reason I wasn't able to replace some old photos with additional music. So, I decided to restore the phone and wipe it clean so there would be more space for music.
    After the phone was wiped clean, it needed to be reactivated. There's no way to get into the phone or load music onto it without activating it, as far as I can tell. I saw the support article above, but after going through the steps in the iTunes store there was no way to active the phone without purchasing a $20 a month data plan. I know there's another way (or there used to be) but I can't figure it out.
    Basically, just need to active my old iPhone, so that I can continue to use it as an iPod touch, without purchasing a new data plan.
    Any help would be appriciated, thanks!

    More info – the phone was used (by me) with a data plan for about two years.
    The SIM card that's in the phone is the same as when I first purchased it.
    I can easily activate it – just not without purcahsing a data plan.

    So I've been waiting to upgrade my OG Droid to the Galaxy Nexus.
    I have the "unlimited data" plan (grandfathered in). My phone is eligible for an upgrade, but when I add it to my cart, it tells me that I need to choose a new data plan because my current one isn't eligible.
    I thought once you have the unlimited data, you keep it until you cancel the line or switch to a non-smartphone?
    Is this an error on line or if I go to the store will the tell me the same thing?

    How are you getting it for $250 on line?  Do you have a discount or NE2 credit?  Sounds like you didn't go to a coorporate store and went to a Franchise/3rd party store.  They can't see employee discounts or NE2 credits.
    It will be around $320 with tax and fees, and your data plan WILL stay the same in store.  Since they said you have to call CSR it further makes me believe you went to a franchise or 3rd party retailer.

    No. Only apps purchased from the App Store can be re downloaded for free including updates.

    Thanks Winston, thats the first thing I wanted to do but I dont see any Annual Plan (like I had), only monthly plans, and they said that as I got a Storage Plan before September 2014 I would be "automatically" updgraded to a new annual plan with reduced pricing. Dont know how I can get it now.

    If you look at the names of the components of SRM , you can realise what khan says easily.
    SRM is a broad term and comprises further components
    EBP Enterprise Buyer Professional
    SUS Supplier self services &
    ROS Registration of suppliers
    All these functionalities or software components are bundled in SRM server
    so technically can be bundled on client
    but not advised by SAP for security reasons
    Now the purchasing client (or server ) is EBP
    responcible for purchasing
    so should have the purchasing organisation and depts
    and internal users with necessary attributes.
    SUS client (or server) is for vendor data
    so should have vendor root node with necessary attributes.
