New SSRS 2012 Service Application Fails to Upgrade ReportServer Database

Hi -
I am in the middle of an SSRS upgrade from 2008R2 to 2012, SP 2010 integrated, without upgrading the database engine. This is on my DEV environment. I am running into problems when I add the new SQL Server Reporting Services Service Application through Central
Administration.  I am keying in the previous db names, so they will be upgraded, "ReportServer". After clicking OK, a screen pops up notifying me that "ReportServer" and "ReportServerTempDB" will be upgraded. So far so good
right? Well as it is processing, it returns with the error found at the bottom:
The correlationID is nowhere to be found in the ULS Logs. I turned on Verbose logging and still no luck. I have restored the ReportServer database from a backup from 3 days ago and tried again. Same error, different correlation ID, not found
in ULS logs. NOTE: I first encountered a specific permissions error for the service account I was using.  That was nice and descriptive :). Changed the permissions to db_owner and sys_admin (for overkill) and now this non-descriptive error appears.  I
have a few questions:
1. I have gone through the same process of adding a new service application and let a new set of the 3 SSRS db's be created with a different name. But that means I lose all previous subscriptions, data source connections
to the rdls, etc.  Is there a way to port/migrate over the previous ReportServer db contents to the newly created db's? I tried a simple SSIS transfer of each table, and as expected I immediately received FK contraint errors, ID Inserts and so forth.
2. Why wouldn't the correlation ID be showing up with verbose tracking?
3. Does anyone know common reasons why the previous RS databases would not be successfully upgraded???
Thank you for any and all help. I am in the position of being able to roll back to snapshots created Thursday morning of the entire SP farm, but we are now at the point of having consultant work being lost so I am really trying hard to get this upgrade to
be successful and done in our DEV environment.

I restored to a backup of the databases REportServer and ReportServerTempDB that I took last night before I tried to manually update them with writing out the SQL File via Powershell.  I tried to  have the Service Application upgrade the database
again, knowing it would fail, which it did, and am now reviewing the logs in the location you mentioned above.  For the 2 minutes that the failure could have happened during, all I see is OWSTIMER.EXE (0x07CC)   errors, which I'm fairly positive
are unrelated, mainly cause they keep occurring round the clock and a caching error? Again, I am trying to simply find out why the Service Application upgrade the db's and have reverted back to a previous state. I felt the collation errors i was troubleshooting
above were too far down the rabbit hole.

  • Error creating a new user profile service application: The specified database is not a valid synchronization database

When trying to create a new user profile service application on a new SharePoint install I get the following error:

I Tried to create another one under a different name (databases also) and I get the same error.
The SharePoint instance has the march mandatory update installed.  The sql instance we are using is an existing SQL cluster for other SharePoint poc's.
Has anybody seen this issue before?

I had the same problem and could not figure out what was wrong for the longest time.  I then had the idea to check in the model system database to see if there were any extra custom tables in that database.  Any tables that are in the model database
are put into any new database when it is created.  I had some custom tables in the model database so I deleted the custom tables in the model database and deleted the failed user profile service application and its databases and then tried to recreate
the user profile service application again and it worked with no errors

  • Migrate and Upgrade ReportServer database from SQLServer 2012 to SQLServer2014

    Hi,
Today I migrated one reporting service from sql server 2012 to new server which running sql server 2014.
Firstly I  back up encryption key and restored to new server, then follow the https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-AU/library/ms156421.aspx (e.g. backup, restore reportserver). In section "How to Configure the Report Server Database Connection" , I
cannot pass this step as it complains it is not a report server, please see error below:
However I can see my original reports/data srouces in below url and I can create new items like data source:

    Hi
As Alberto’s post, it's not supported to run a Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) database on SQL Server 2012 in Server 2008 R2. Since your application requires SQL Server 2012 Express as a minimum, you can try the following method:
    1. WSUS in Server 2012 supports SQL Server 2012, if you want to upgrade WSUS database supports SQL Server 2012, you need to upgrade WSUS 3.0 SP1, operation system and so on. For more information, you can post the question about WSUS in the
Windows Server forums. It is appropriate and more experts will assist you. In addition, upgrade SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2012, as Shanky’s post, you need to make sure that your SQL Server 2005 has been applied Service Pack 4.
    2. However, if you don’t want to upgrade WSUS database from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2012, I recommend you to install a new instance of SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2008 R2.
In addition, before installing SQL Server 2012 or upgrading to SQL Server 2012, your system should meets the following prerequisites:
      • The Windows Installer service must be running.
      • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and .NET Framework 4.0 are required.
      • Windows PowerShell 2.0 or later is required if you're upgrading the database engine.
For more information about the prerequisites for installing SQL Server 2012, please review the following link:

  • Kerberos Authentication between Sharepoint 2013 Foundation - SSRS 2012 - Oracle 11g failing with ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed

I have set up SharePoint 2013 Foundation, SharePoint Reporting Services and SQL Server 2012 in a single server. I then created a Data Connection to Oracle 11g. Upon testing the connection, it throws the error “ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed”.
Given below are the steps of installation and configuration.
    Installation till basic authentication:
The installation has been done in a
    single server.
Installed SQL Server 2012 (Developer version).
    Selected only the following features:
    Database Engine Services
    Analysis Services
    Reporting Services – SharePoint
Reporting Services Add-in for SharePoint Products
    Management Tools – Basic
    - Management Tools - Complete
      2. Installed SQL Server 2012 SP1.
      3. Installed SQL Server 2012 SP2.
      4. Installed SharePoint Foundation 2013.
      5. Created web application (without Kerberos; we did not even create the SPNs).
The application pool has been configured to use Reporting Services account since it is a single server installation. This account has been registered as a managed
    account.
      6. Created Site Collection.
      7. Verified that Reporting Services is not installed.
      8. Installed SharePoint Reporting Services from SharePoint 2013 Management Shell.
      9. Verified that Reporting Services is installed.
     10. Created a new SQL Server Reporting Services Service Application and associated the Web Application to the new SQL server Reporting Services Service Application.
      11. Verified that SQL Server Reporting Services Service Application and its proxy have started. Reset IIS.
      12. Created a Site.
      13. Created a Data Connection library with “Report Data Source” content type.
      14. Created a Report Model library with “Report Builder Model” content type.
      15. Created a Report library with “Report Builder Report” content type.
      16. Uploaded an SMDL to the Report Model library.
      17. Added the top level site to Local Intranet instead of as a Trusted Site in the browser settings.
      18. Able to create and save a report using Report Builder.
Hence, basic authentication is working and SSRS is able to connect to Oracle database.
Next we have to configure Kerberos settings between SharePoint and SQL Server.
    Implementation of Kerberos authentication
In the Report Server machine, opened the file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\WebServices\Reporting\rsreportserver.config  and added the Authentication Types of RSWindowsNegotiate
    and RSWindowsKerberos.
     2.  Set up the following SPNs.
                   a) SQL Server Database Engine service (sqlDbSrv2):
                    setspn -S MSSQLSvc/CER1110:1433 CERDEMO\sqlDbSrv2
                    setspn -S MSSQLSvc/CER1110.cer.demo.com:1433 CERDEMO\sqlDbSrv2
In the Delegation tab of the account, selected "Trust this user for delegation to any service (Kerberos only)".
    b) Account: SharePoint Setup Admin account (spAdmin2)
         setspn -S HTTP/CER1110:9999 CERDEMO\spAdmin2
                    setspn -S HTTP/CER1110.cer.demo.com:9999 CERDEMO\spAdmin2
In the Delegation tab of the account, selected "Trust this user for delegation to any  service
    (Kerberos only)".
    c) Account: SQL Server Reporting Service account (sqlRepSrv2)
                       setspn -S HTTP/CER1110 CERDEMO\sqlRepSrv2
                       setspn -S HTTP/CER1110.cer.demo.com CERDEMO\sqlRepSrv2
In the Delegation tab of the account, selected "Trust this user for delegation to any service
    (Kerberos only)".
      3. Configure the Web Application to use “Negotiate (Kerberos)”.
      4. Logged in as SharePoint Administrator to the SharePoint server and opened the top level site in the IE browser.
The Event Viewer logged the login process for the SharePoint Administration account as
    Negotiate and not Kerberos.
      5. Implemented Kerberos for Oracle database and client.
Able to connect to the Oracle database via Kerberos authentication using SQL Plus.
      6. Turn on Windows Firewall.
      7. While testing the site's data connection using Kerberos settings, got the error
“Can not convert claims identity to windows token. This may be due to user not logging in using windows credentials.”
Note: The Data Connection for basic authentication still worked.
      8. Created a Claims to Windows Token Service account (spC2WTS2).
      9. Started the Claims to Windows Token Service.
     10. Registered the Claims to Windows Token Service account as a Managed Account.
     11. Changed the Claims To Windows Token Service to use the above managed account.
     12. Verified that the Claims to Windows Token Service account (spC2WTS2) is automatically added to the WSS_WPG local group on the SharePoint box.
Note: The Reporting Services service account is also a part of the WSS_WPG local group.
     13. Added the Claims to Windows Token Service account (spC2WTS2) to the Local Admin Group on the machine having the SharePoint App Server.
     14. In the SharePoint box, added the Claims to Windows Token Service account (spC2WTS2) in the Act as part of the operating system policy right.
     15. The Claims to Windows Token Service account (spC2WTS2) has the WSS_WPG group configured.
When the C2WTS service was configured to use the managed account Claims to Windows Token Service account (spC2WTS2) earlier, the spC2WTS2 account was automatically
added to the WSS_WPG local group on the SharePoint box. The WSS_WPG group in turn is configured in c2wtshost.exe.config file.
     16. Verified that the Reporting Services account is a managed account and part of the WSS_WPG group.
     17. Earlier Service Application Pool - SQL Server Reporting Services App Pool service was associated with the SharePoint Admin account.
Changed this to associate the Reporting Service account with the Service Application Pool - SQL Server Reporting Services App Pool service.
     18. Changed the delegation of the Reporting Service account to constrained delegation with Protocol Transitioning. This is because we are transitioning from one authentication scheme (Claims) to another (Windows Token).
For this, the delegation has been changed to "Trust this user for delegation to specified services only". Also, selected the sub radio button "Use
any authentication protocol". Selected the Oracle Kerberos service as the service to which this account can present delegated credentials.
Note: The Reporting Service account already had an HTTP SPN.
     19. Next, the goal was to make the Claims To Windows Token Service account match the Reporting Service account.
For this, we created a fake SPN for the Claims To Windows Token Service account since the delegation tab was missing.
The delegation has been changed to "Trust this user for delegation to specified services only". Also, selected the sub radio button "Use any
authentication protocol". Selected the Oracle Kerberos service as the service to which this account can present delegated credentials.
     20. Restarted the SharePoint server.
     21. Tested the data connection with the Kerberos settings again.
           Got the error
    “ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed”.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this setup?

  • SSRS 2012 - The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

I have SSRS Reporting Services 2012 load balanced on two servers.
Both servers are running Windows Server 2012 R2.
I have a Web Application that renders reports by utilizing this SSRS Reporting Services 2012.
When the application generates a report using load balancing I get error the message, “The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.”
However, using only one reporting server, the application is able to render the report just fine.
It seems that when the requests are shared between the servers the problem occurs.
One solution is to configure Load Balancing with “Source IP” persistence.
This seems to work.  I believe this is a “sticky” session.
With this Load Balancing configuration, the application can render the report just fine.
(However, I have not done complete testing.)
The problem occurs when calling the service ListChildren(string, bool ) on SSRS.
I have been researching online.  I tried modifying the registry on the servers based on online articles (see below.)
Here are some articles I have looked at.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281307(v=sql.110).aspx
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/lukaszp/archive/2008/07/18/reporting-services-http-401-unauthorized-host-headers-require-your-attention.aspx
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/lukaszp/archive/2008/07/18/reporting-services-http-401-unauthorized-host-headers-require-your-attention.aspx
Is there a better solution?  Will Load Balancing with “Source IP” persistence be an acceptable solution?  Is there a patch needed for the servers or SSRS?  Please let me know.

    Hi GoGladiator,
Generally, "The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized" occurs when
The service account used to connect to the Report Server is not authorized.
The Reporting Services is configured to use Kerberos, however, we didn't register Service Principal Name (SPN) for the account the Reporting Services is running under.
So, to fix this issue, we can refer to the follow steps:
Make sure the user is able to connect to the Report Server.
If using Kerberos authentication, please make sure SPN is configured correctly. If using Kerberos authentication, please make sure SPN is configured correctly.
For more information about Kerberos Authentication and how to register SPN for a report server in Reporting Services, please see the articles below:
Configure Windows Authentication on the Report Server
Register a Service Principal Name (SPN) for a Report Server
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,

  • Why can't I assign hardware and guest os profiles to servers in the new SCVMM 2012 Service Templates?

Trying to learn SCVMM 2012, but I'm confused about how Guest OS and Hardware Profiles work with the new 2012 Service Templates.
I create a Hardware Profile and a Guest OS Profile. Then I open the Create VM Template wizard. In this wizard I can assign the Hardware and Guest OS profiles I created under the Configure Hardware and Configure Operating System steps in the wizard.
If I open the new Service Template wizard, select a Single Tier Server (for example), open the Service Template Designer and go to the properties of the server I find under Hardware Configuration and OS Configuration I cannot assign my Hardware and Guest OS
    profiles to the server.
Why is this? It seems like extra work to have not be able to assign these profiles to servers in a service template. Is there something fundamental I'm missing here?

I have the same issues with the equipment I maintain. Two things are consistent that I see between this forum and my set up. I had 10.5 on all our Macs and each of them could connect with out issue to the shares on a windows xp machine. I have three Mac computers I am working with. 1. My main computer a MacBook Pro 2.4ghz core 2 duo, an Intel iMac, and an older Mac Pro G5 running OS 10.5 server.
I have another server running kiosk or signage displays that is a windows xp machine. All of my macs could access the windows xp machine by clicking on it and authenticating to it and then the shares will show up.
I upgraded my MacBook Pro first to 10.6 and have been unable to connect to the windows shares ever since. Keep getting Authenticatoin failure. So my work around is to transfer files to the 10.5 macs and then screen share one of them and access the windows share from them. Spoke with Apple support and they could not help and said it was a know issue but did not have a solution.
Last week I upgraded the iMac to 10.6 and it too, now will not authenticate to the windows shares.
Here are the strange things... I can take my macbook pro home and access all windows shares on my home networked computers. I even took the windows xp machine home from work to test it and I was able to connect to the shares without issue from my Macbook pro.
Two things stand out ... you mentioned a Cisco router and we use a Cisco router at work. Also, both of us have upgraded to 10.6 and authentication fails at that time.
Problem is between OS 10.6 and the Cisco routers I believe. I am not sure how to fix the issue though.

  • Search Service Application problems after upgrading from Foundation to Enterprise edition of SharePoint 2013

Hi all. I have been searching for days for a solution to a problem I am having with SP2013 Enterprise edition.
We recently upgraded from SP2013 Foundation to SP2013 Enterprise. After the upgrade, the search services are no longer working and we are receiving many application log entries indicating the following:
Application Server Administration job failed for service instance Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance (ea2019ef-bb9e-4efe-85ee-5d2307406f31).
Reason: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
    Technical Support Details:
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance.Synchronize()
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.ApplicationServerJob.ProvisionLocalSharedServiceInstances(Boolean isAdministrationServiceJob)
    as well as:
Application Server Administration job failed for service instance Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance (ea2019ef-bb9e-4efe-85ee-5d2307406f31).
Reason: The object you are trying to create already exists. Try again using a different name.
    Technical Support Details:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040D02): The object you are trying to create already exists. Try again using a different name.
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance.Synchronize()
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.ApplicationServerJob.ProvisionLocalSharedServiceInstances(Boolean isAdministrationServiceJob)
I have tried to remove the search service application and recreate it, and even though the SharePoint Central Administration states that it was created successfully, I am still getting the same errors in the log. If I go to the Search Service Application
Search Administration page, the "System Status" shows the following message:
The search service is not able to connect to the machine that hosts the administration component. Verify that the administration component '0359af35-0982-4ede-8838-b1d390e915bf' in search application 'Search Service Application' is in a good state and
    try again
Additionally, under the "Search Application Topology" section, it states "Unable to retrieve topology component health states. This may be because the admin component is not up and running" which I assume is normal if the admin is not
    running.
Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem?
    Thanks!

    Hi Joaquin,
According to your description, the error occurred when you re-created the Search Service Application.
Based on the error message, I recommend to verify the things below:
       1. Check if the association between the Search Service Application proxy and the web application is configured.
Please go to Central Administration > Application Management > Configured service application associations > Click Default to see if the Search Service application is checked.
       2. Change the app pool for the Search Service Application to SharePoint Web Services Default in the properties of the Search Service Application.
Please go to Central Administration > Application Management > Manage service applications > Highlight the Search Service Application > Click Properties in the ribbon > Change
the two app pool to SharePoint Web Services Default: App Pool For Search Admin Web Service and Application Pool for Search Query and Site Settings Web Service.
        3. Run PS command to check if the search admin timer job is enabled: Get-SPTimerJob
job-application-server-admin-service | fl. If it is not enabled, use PS command to enabled it and then reset Internet Information Services: Enable-SPTimerJob job-application-server-admin-service.
    Best regards.
    Thanks

  • Initiall SharePoint Server 2013 setup -- unable to manage new User Profile Service Application

During initial farm setup, creating an initial User Profile Service Application works fine.  However, once it's created, I cannot 'manage' it through the Manage Service Applications page in central
    admin.
I get a generic error (Sorry, something went wrong / unexpected error) with a correlation ID that doesn't seem to match any ULS log entries. (Yes, I merged logs from all machines in the farm.)
A Windows event log entry says:
A failure was reported when trying to invoke a service application: Endpoint Failure
Also frequent errors in ULS logs:  (see below)
    UserProfileApplicationNotAvailableException
User Profile Application      Proxy failed to retrieve partitions from User Profile Application: Micro…
    SPDistributedCache DataCacheException
I did notice that the file 'ProfileService.svc does not exist in SharePoint's web services app at the URL you see in the error. (below)
I also found it interesting that the event log error shows 1 active endpoint and 3 failed endpoints.  I have 2 WFEs and 2 app servers.  But I'm only trying to get the user profile service app running on the application
servers.  I have deleted and recreated this service app several times under various names (deleted/recreated its app pool as well) and wonder if these other failed endpoints could be orphans from previous instances...
Any thoughts on how I might successfully create this service application?  I've already been Binging my head against a wall long enough that I would have been better off reinstalling the entire farm...  I may still
    do that.
FYI, my farm came from a slipstreamed SP1 install package, and received the July CU after several other things were already configured, including the already-failed UP service application.

    Hi Gowri,
From your description, you can create create ad-hoc reports using Report Builder 3.0 and SQL Server 2008 R2, and now you want to know how to how to do ad-hoc reports by using SSRS 2012, right? In SQL Server 2012, the default version of Report Builder is
3.0, so you can create create ad-hoc reports using Report Builder 3.0 as before.

  • Web Start Application fails after upgrade to JRE 1.6.0_u33

I have a production application that uses java web start for deployment. All has gone well, but we are experiencing problems when testing upgrading to the latest JRE update 1.6.0_u33.
The application is composed of several jar files, all of which are signed with a code signing certificate. However, after updating the JRE, I receive the error :
    #### Java Web Start Error:
    #### Unsigned application requesting unrestricted access to system
Unsigned resource: the first jar file in my jnlp
This is a pretty odd error, since the jar is definitely signed. I can find it in the webstart cache and run jarsigner -verify against it and it verifies successfully.
If I remove the application and reinstall it, everything works fine, but this is a pretty unacceptable solution for thousands of users, many of which are not very technical.
Does anyone have any solutions or has anyone encountered the same problem? It is currently a showstopper for us to taking this new JRE update which contains some critical security updates we would like to have implemented.
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi
I have seen this post a little bit late, but... We have also encountered such issue.
There is another workaround than ask people to empty the java web start cache.
In order to force the end user's computer to download again you application entirely, we have signed again ALL the jar files and uploaded them to our server.
That works well but... if somebody download the "new" files and upgrades java to 1.6_0_33 afterwards... same issue will appear again.
Please observe that the traffic in this forum has started to decrease strongly. That's not amazing when you see that you cannot count on this product.
Java web start has never worked correctly and that for a long time. This one suffers of numerous bugs and regressions. We should rather call it Java Nightmare Neverstart
    It's a shame.
Sun has been acquired by Oracle but that does not seem change anything.

    Hi,
Base on your description, you have deployed SQL Server Reporting Services reports using RS utility, and now what you want is that update the data source of the deployed reports, right? In this case, we can update the data source of the report on Report Manager.
Go to the folder which contain this report, and click on the drop down list arrow>Manage, select Data Sources on the left pane and then update the data source for this report.

I checked all other Service databases that contain the role SPSearchDBAdmin and they all correctly have the owner as dbo
    NOT ------\sp2013uatfarmacct.
Further checking the SQL trace log a SQL batch is executed at 12/18/2014 11:19:59.790 that states the following:
    -- Drop existing role members
    IF  EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.database_principals WHERE name = N'SPSearchDBAdmin' AND type = 'R')
    Begin
        DECLARE @RoleMemberName sysname
        DECLARE Member_Cursor CURSOR FOR
        SELECT [name]
        FROM sys.database_principals
        WHERE
            principal_id IN
                SELECT member_principal_id
                from sys.database_role_members
                where role_principal_id in (
                select principal_id
                FROM sys.database_principals where [name] = N'SPSearchDBAdmin'  AND type = 'R' ))
        OPEN Member_Cursor;
        FETCH NEXT FROM Member_Cursor
        into @RoleMemberName
        WHILE @@FETCH_STATUS = 0
        BEGIN
            exec sp_droprolemember @rolename=N'SPSearchDBAdmin', @membername= @RoleMemberName
            FETCH NEXT FROM Member_Cursor
            into @RoleMemberName
        END;
        CLOSE Member_Cursor;
        DEALLOCATE Member_Cursor;
    End
    -- Drop/Create role
    IF  EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.database_principals WHERE name = N'SPSearchDBAdmin' AND type = 'R')
    DROP ROLE [SPSearchDBAdmin]
    CREATE ROLE [SPSearchDBAdmin]
I highlighted the statement in red that is eventually causing the SP restore to fail. For some unknown reason to me when this statement is executed the new ROLE SPSearchDBAdmin owner is -----\sp2013uatfarmacct
    instead of dbo.
As a test I executed via SQL Management Studio “CREATE ROLE [SPSearchDBAdmin]” and it correctly created the owner as dbo.
So the problem and my question is why when the SP Search Service is restored is the ROLE SPSearchDBAdmin owner being set to “-----\ sp2013uatfarmacct”, which in turn seems to be causing the restore failure?

    Hi!
I believe it is trying to delete a user who owns the schema of the database. You can try changing the schema owner to some other user like "dbo", and then drop the first user.
Below are a few links that can help you with much more details.

  • Event ID 1502 and 6398 : Translation Service Application is failing to execute. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    hi,
We have deployed Sharepoint 2013 in hosting mode. And i followed this
guide. And i have 1 web server, 1 app server and 1  DB server. My Application server is logging 2 critical event after every 15 min.
Event ID: 1502, Task Category: Timer Job, Source: SharePoint Translation Services
"Timer job '735da5fd-a74a-46b8-9a75-70e85d125eb2' for service application 'Translation Service Application' is failing to execute. More information is included below.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object. "
Followed by this one one more critical event,
Event ID: 6398, Task Category: Timer , Source: SharePoint Foundation
"The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.Office.TranslationServices.QueueJob (ID 735da5fd-a74a-46b8-9a75-70e85d125eb2) threw an exception. More information is included below.
Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
I tried to search everywhere, but no solution. Because of this two critical events AppFabricCaching service is also crashing.
Any suggestion how i can fix this?
    SaM

    Hi  SaM,
According to your error message, it says that the Timer job '735da5fd-a74a-46b8-9a75-70e85d125eb2' for service application 'Translation Service Application' fail to create due to some referred object cannot
be found. For this issue, it can be caused by missing assembly .
Could you please provide detail error message of ULS log  to determine the exact cause of the error?
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS
Here is a blog you can have a look:
