New updated software
I just updated my software and now I have just gone back onto my BlackBerry Z10 after turning it on and off again and Facebook has been removed my file manager has and I can not access my music anymore, is there anything simple I can do?

Disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and update usually resolves the timeout error.

No. The post you responded to is nearly 7 months old. At the time, 4.3.3 was the most current version for the 3GS. As of now, 5.0.1 is the most current version for the 3GS.

Labview program to unistall and install new/updated software programatically
Hi,
I want to create a labview program to install and uninstall teststand deployment programatically.
Query : I have teststand deployment made and ready,wanted to deploy in 5 test PC's and for very first time it did work good. Now when I made updates in the modules, i made a new deployment with version increment. Now this time, i first uninstalled the previous deployment and reinstalled a new one. This time it took time to uninstall and install all 5 test PC's.
I wanted to automate this process through labview. I wanted to create a labview exe or installer which continusouly running on the client PC's looking for a perticular folder for new/updated deployment. If it finds, uninstall the older version if present and install a newer version of deployment.
I wanted to know what things i need to consider while making this type of labview program which uninstalls the older version and installs a newer one? I think i need to even reboot after uninstallation, before installing newer deployment. How make the program running even after reboot and continue the process?I have the MS-6968 device and i want to use driver 1.4.x or 3.0.x. I found the driver 1.4.2.10 but i cannot find any WIDCOMMSecurity code.
So, can anyone give me a link for BTWPatcher.exe???

Outlook stop Sync with new update software
My Iphone will not sync with Outlook 2003 contacts. Note: I don't sync with the calendar data. Just Contacts. First time with the new update 7.6 it did update my phone with all the contacts, photos, music and ring tones. But, not it will not Sync with my Outlook. It gives me a msg that states OutlookSyncClient has stopped working, A Problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Has anyone experienced this same msg? If so, were you able to fix it?Have you looked at the logs on BPS?

Installing new update software
I purchased a new software update and haven't installed it on my ITouch because it says that all my music will be lost if I update my Ipod. Is that true? If so, how can I save the playlists that are on my Itouch before I install/update it? I do not want to lose all that music that I downloaded from CDs and ITunes. Is there a way to save the playlists that are currently on my Itouch?
Your music & playlists won't be "lost" because they should all be in your iTunes Library on your computer, where you synced them from in the first place.
Before upgrading, just make sure you transfer any purchases made +on the iPod+ to your iTunes Library on your computer.
Do the upgrade, which will erase your iPod as part of the process, then just sync everything that was on it, back to it from your iTunes Library.
You might also want to use the Backup command in iTunes before doing it for your own piece of mind. -

Impossible to say without more details other than "I can't install". If you'll post full details, including whether you're attempting to update from the iPad directly or from iTunes on a computer, where things are breaking down, what error messages if any you're getting, and any other details pertinent to your issue, then someone can perhaps offer suggestions.

I just updated my software, now I don't know how to turn off aps. I used to double tap the home button then hold down the ap until it shakes and the minus signs appear. Now, I get no shaking and no minus sign. What do I do?

Download songs from CD with new updated software
Since I downloaded the updated version 7.2 I can download one CD, but when I try to download a second CD my computer locks up. I have tried to reinstall the software and still have the same results.
I have this exact same problem and don't know what to do. Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

Guess I just shouldn't update but I did. First off, the iPod itself, it won't shuffle albums anymore, only songs. I've checked the settings a couple times and it is on shuffle albums but it won't do it.
On my computer, I also updated iTunes. I really dislike the changes made and I also can't play music on my computer now. If I have anything else running at all the sound is totally choppy and unlistenable. It wasn't like this at all before, no matter what I had running.
Is there links here to previous software because I need to go to a previous version.I updated my i-pod before I read this.... ARRGGHH!
After I uptdated it last night I downloaded some TV shows... It worked fine... Today I watched a TV show on the Ipod and after that I decided to go for a JOG...AARRGGHH... where is my music??? Gone... So I had to dock again to load my music again... when done, just out of curiosity I checked to see if my videos were still there... AARRGGGHHH! they were gone!!!Besides, everything now drags when the I-tunes is running...defeats all the purpose of working in youe computer while listening to music. ARRGGHH! Now I'm really upset... after a big delay on my day, I'm off for my Jog...but not before I vent my frustration. -
I have a few Adobe products sitting around since I received them for college purposes, which meant they had "Education" typed on the boxes.
Question one: Now I've assumed that since they are educational/student products, that means I am not allowed to create a piece of work and then sell said piece for money. Correct? For example, if I was create an elaborate or simplistic piece of wallpaper or artwork, and then said for a certain price, $30, you can own this piece,that would be considered illegal, correct?
Question two: IF I end up buying the newest versions, say CS6 for Photoshop and Illustrator, what licencing purposes would I get? Would they be software that a had a license that would allow me to create something and then sell it off for somebody else to use in their project or for personal needs?
Going back to the previous example, would that no longer be considered illegal and therefore a break of the "Educational" licence terms?This article should answer all your questions:

I have set up WSUS. I have installed SUP on SCCM. I have created two collections; Available and Required, and split my computers between them
I have deployed various Software Update groups in batches of less-than-a-thousand to get me to the point where i can use ADRs from now on. I have created an ADR for October's updates to deploy to "Required". It downloads (though only directly from
MS - cant get it to just use the WSUS folder but thats another issue) and from what i can see it deploys fine
I run Windows Update on my Test PC and Server and it says it's up to date. Great. Just to test though, i click on "Check for updates from Windows Update" and they both come back with "Install new Windows UPdate Software - To check for updates,
you must first install an update for Windows Update. Your automatic settings will not change"
So i install that update (direct from Microsoft) and Windows update closes and re-opens as it says it will.
I run another check for updates and they both say "Up to date". So i check from Windows update again since i have now installed this new update software that i would have thought my SUP WSUS would have installed)
Now from Microsoft's site they both have 45 important updates nad 35 optional updates available. What?? So i check these updates in the list and they are all in the October package. Why arent they available on my internal SUP/WSUS but they are available

That is the way it works, if you have selected to have the Software updates deployments visible they are visible in Software Center instead and there you can install the updates that is needed on a computer/server if you have deployed the updates to that
server as available first.
Yes it is possible to do, deploy all updates to a collection, create a query for that collection so that all members in that OU is automatically made members in the Collection.
then when a client is added to that OU the collection will be updated with that client as a member and the client will scan for updates and install the updates deployed to that Collection. It doesn't really matter in that case that the SCCM client does the
installation of the updates and not the WindowsUpdateAgent.

I keep being asked to update my Safari but when I do a Software update it scans but never gives me a list and just says no new updates. Help please!
There are no updates to either OS 10.5.8 or Safari 5.0.6.
If you need a later version of Safari you must first upgrade your operating system to a later version of OS X.
