New version of Light (control your laptops backlight easily).

This is a complete rewrite of my old pet project, as I felt the need to severely clean up the code. See the old thread here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=153210
Anyway, new version, completely new command line usage -- sorry, it was pretty much inevitable. More complete functionality as well: no more hacking when you want to set minimal brightness or specify a controller, it's all done in command line now. It's also installed with root capabilities directly, so no more hacking with that either. Just makepkg -si and off you go!
If you face any problems, don't forget to run it with the verbosity flag, -v 3, to get all the errors! You will probably get a lot of errors (if you get one), they are there to make it easier to trace the problem in code (you pretty much get a stack).
I want to make it clear that the changes to the command line usage was done for several good reasons, including the fact that it wasn't very intuitive before.

When I try to install(with pacaur), this error appears:

"Create New BW Web Printing Controls Your Users Will Love" not working

I tried to implement codes (http://www.bwexpertonline.com/downloads/fox04.doc)for BW Web Printing controls as instructed in the article(http://www.bwexpertonline.com/archive/Volume_02_(2004)/Issue_03_(March)/V2I3A4.cfm).
I got everything fine, EXCEPT I cannot seem to get the Z_PRINT_HTML_TEMPLATE to retain changed form value. And I cannot get print preview of all pages when I uncheck and click Enter button. The form just refreshes itself and brings back the default setting value.
Does anyone know why it is doing this? Thank you very much for any help in advance!

We were able to successfully change the redirect by using the "How-to" guide and now have a change password option on the logon, but now our report is not executing.
Please note that the report that we are trying to access is not a BSP, but a standard BW query that was being executing through WAS.
Any ideas?

I am unable to turn on Private Browsing since upgrading the new version. However, on my laptop I am given the option. Both upgrades were done the same day.

In the Tools drop-down menu, the "Start Private Browsing" option is not highlighted, nor does Ctrl/Sft/P turn it on.
The laptop allows both.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

HT1386 Trouble with the new version of iTunes on an old laptop...

I have just spent an hour and half on the phone to iTunes support. They were great and helped me to back-up my old iphone3 which was almost dead and then restore the data onto my new iPhone4S, however the new version of iTunes on the laptop doesn't seem to be showing any of my music or apps, they are all my boyfriend's stuff. Do I need to log into my account? How do I do this? Will that have all my music and apps?

You can be on any account to show all music. But between your acct and your BFs account, if you have different songs and apps, it will be difficult to back up and/or transfer your purchased songs and apps because using different Apple IDs in one library can confused things on itunes.
But if you're missing songs on your itunes click here: Donwloading past purchases from App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
That will only restore songs that you purchased from iTunes. If you downloaded songs from a third-party site, you have to locate it on your computer and add it to itunes.

What is going on....first real player then something else and now you want me to upgrade to a new version that will not let me use my systematic virus solftware.....what is going on....seem something corrupt in what you are shooting for control over

every new version is limiting either your own advertised ad ons or real play and now systematic......do you really think that I and others are going to stop using their norton virus software that they get from comcast in order to upgrade....I don't think so. This is getting highly suspect and a trusted browser seems like they are now being paid off by microsoft or some such. I do not trust this at all

Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I can't open my iPhoto - tells me to use the new version

this the message that i get
"You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto."
I have iPhoto 4 on my G4 at home. I tried transferring some burned photos from my G4 labtop (running on iPhoto 5) and this was the message i got. I tried everything from the update downloads to deleting the pics from iPhoto 5. I still can't open my iPhoto.
Just had a baby girl and it's driving me nuts because I can't access my photo library.

Hi, Gary. If the CD you burned in iPhoto 5 is still in your computer, eject it and see whether that makes any difference.
If you copied the contents of that CD to your hard drive in such a way that there is now an iPhoto Library folder anywhere on your hard drive which was created by iPhoto 5 rather than iPhoto 4, trash that folder and empty the trash. Then try opening iPhoto 4 again.
When you burn a CD from within iPhoto, it creates an iPhoto Library folder on the CD. That library folder is specific to the version of iPhoto that created it. If an older version of iPhoto finds such a folder anywhere within its reach, it tries — and fails — to open that folder instead of its own library folder, and then puts up the error message you've seen.
In the future, if you transfer photos from a computer that contains a newer version of iPhoto than your own, it will be safer to export the photos from the newer version of iPhoto to a folder on that other computer's hard drive, then burn a cd containing the photos from the Finder, rather than from within iPhoto. That way the disc won't contain anything your own version of iPhoto can mistake for its iPhoto Library.

To create a WMI filter
1.In the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) console tree, right-click
WMI Filters in the forest and domain in which you want to create a WMI filter.
2.Click
New .
3.In the
New WMI Filter dialog box, type a name for the new WMI Filter in the
Name box, and type a description of the filter in the Description box.
4.Click
Add .
5.In the
WMI Query dialog box, either leave the default namespace (root\CIMv2) or enter another namespace by doing one of the following:

Namespace box, type the name of the namespace that you want to use for the WMI query.

My iphoto program was messed up so I dragged it to trash and down-loaded it again. now when I open it , it says I can't open my library with my old version, use my new version. How do I get to my new version when it is the only one there?

When I reinstall iphoto from my iwork disc it installed Ok, but when I clk on the icon it says that my library is unavailable, use the new iphoto. What is the problem? If I go to applications the same thing happens, I can't access Iphoto!

You reinstalled an old version of iPhoto after you updated your library to the newer version.
Update ALL your software and try again.
Click the Apple Menu at the upper left-hand corner of your screen and select "Software Update..."
Repeat until it tells you there are no more updates.
AND, launch the App Store application located in your Applications folder to see if there are any updates there as well.

Create new version, checkout, checkin workflow not correct via abap

I wrote an abap programm with the following workflow:
- I create a new version of the document CVAPI_DOC_CREATE_NEW_VERSION
- I check out the new version with CVAPI_DOC_CHECKOUTMODIFY
- I check in the file with the new content CVAPI_DOC_CHECKIN
And now there are 2 files in DMS with the same version. But there should be only one document with version 01.
The method CREATE_NEW_VERSION creates an dms document. But also the CVAPI_DOC_CHECKIN method creates an document in dms. But the checkin method should override the new version.

unfortunately it is very hard to suggest a detailed solution for your individual program. Personally I would recommend you to
use the following sequence:
- I create a new version of the document CVAPI_DOC_CREATE_NEW_VERSION
- BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2 to read out the current document data
- I check out the new version with CVAPI_DOC_CHECKOUTMODIFY
- BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2 to read out the current document data
- I check in the file with the new content API_DOCUMENT_MAINTAIN2 or BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2.
If you enter the storage category in the table DOCUMENTFILES of the mentioned function modules the file should be
checked in again. For further information on the DMS BAPI behavior please see the attached documentation to SAP note 766277.
