Newstand not uploading new issues

Newstand is not updating some of my subscriptions even though the magazines say the new issue is out. I get a message that
can use library, but the library does not have the new issues.

The feed has episodes numbered from 1 to 91, plus a few un-numbered ones. These all show when subscribing in iTunes. However the Store shows only from 19 to 85 plus a few un-numbered ones.
A quick look at the feed coding suggests that it is OK. However it's rather slow to load both in Firefox (which I use as an RSS reader) and when subscribing in iTunes. Attempts to check it a Feedvalidator produce the error 'timed out (Server timed out; misconfigured server?)'.
So it seems possible that the Store is timing out and unable to read the feed, or that the server isn't responding to requests specifically from the Store (I have seen cases where this appears to be happening). This might explain why the newest episodes don't appear, though it's not clear why 1-18 don't.
So your first step is to try to get the server to behave itself.

IPOD 5th generation will not upload new games

I purchased a new game and it will not upload it on my IPOD. It says it needs the 1.2 version which it has.
I installed Itunes 7 and when the ipod is sync it says it's syncing software is version 1.2. I restored my IPOD and it still did not eliminate the problem.

I finally got the answer in the Itunes discussion section.
You must "authorize" your PC to use games / music purchased from the Store.
Click on the "Store icon"
Go in "Store" -> "Authorize PC" It will authorize your IPOD to be able to load games. Otherwise, double-clic the image of the game between the Library column and the game description: a pop-up window will be prompted and you can authorize your pc.

Could not upload new firefox version

I uploaded the new version of firefox successfully. Nothing happened. I still am on the old version and asked to upload new version every time I log in

You appear to be running version 3.6.23. You should update to at least 3.6.24 -> http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

Will not upload new pop3 emails, only old emails

When I googled this there seems to be lots of complaints about this but few answers and it happens for various email providers Yahoo etc. My happens to be an embarq account.
I set up the account on the iphone 4 with no problem. However, when i fetch more emails I do not get new emails. Using my pc, I can see the new email but my iphone refuses to grab them.
A new email has not appeared on my phone in over 24 hours. If I increase the number of emails that the iphone fetches from 25 to 50, then it pulls 25 emails that are even OLDER than the ones I already had.
I've tried deleting and adding back the account on the phone and that did not work. I confirmed the ports and setting with the embarq folks.
I do not check the email using the PC often so I have not gotten the message on the iphone about being locked out.
Oh, like others I can send emails with no problem.

Drive not recognized - new issue...help please

I am replacing a 120 GB drive with a 250 GB one to give more space for video files. On reboot, I get the message: You have inserted a drive not recognized...etc...with the choices to initialize, ignore or eject.
Then I notice that the drive on the same bus (in the bottom of the tray) is not seen on the desktop. It was in two volume partitions and was also a 250GB. Big mystery. So I remove the new one and connect just the older drive. No luck, message says ...a drive not recognized...etc. So then I change the jumpers twice - same results - and I remove the jumper...same thing. I see this drive in Disk Utility represented by a number and size (232 GB) but not by the volume names. And when I try to verify or repair, the option is greyed out (yes, I booted to the install disc and went to Disk Utility, as per instructions.
This disk has data on it I need, and it's not backed up. All I did was unplug the connectors and then replaced them as before. So please, tell me how I can restore this one. I could remove it and put it in an external FW enclosure and then see if it shows up, but I don't want to take chances. Worse case scenario is a data retrieval service - and I'm almost certain I shouldn't have to do that as this is a healthy drive.
Any suggestions very gratefully appreciated, thanks!

Tom, I tried every one of your suggestions: set the older drive (Seagate) at P4 and first connector on IDE ribbon to cable select and the new drive (Hitachi) in tray just above it at P5 - end connector on ribbon also to cable select. Result: two dialog boxes for both drive on reboot "You have inserted a device not recognized..."
Then I tried slave on the Seagate and Master on the Hitachi...same result as above.
Then I tried alternate Master and Cable Select configs. on the Hitachi for 15 or 16 pin..whatever that is...but was printed on strip on drive. No go.
I think it must be another issue here than jumpers...although that may have something to do with it. When I installed a new drive in my Quicksilver I never got the Device Not Recognized dialog...it either saw the drive with all data on it or it didn't, until I set the jumpers correctly, as directed for that incident.
What bothers me is that when I removed the new Hitachi entirely and reconnected the old Seagate as the only drive on that cable, either with jumper set to CS or M or S I am still getting the dialog.
Any other solutions, please.

Elements 8 Background Synchronization Does Not Upload New Albums

When I first down
loaded Photoshop Elements 8, I was able to create a new Album in Photoshop Elements and share it on-line from within Photoshop. That worked a couple of time, but now when I create a new album and attempt to share it on-line, Photoshop Elements marks it as "Backup/Synchronization Pending" but it never gets synchronized so the album never appears on Photosop.com. I have checked and re-checked the preferences to make sure synchronization is enabled. I can see that the albums I have selected to sync are flagged as such in the preferences, as well as in the Album panel. I have tried to manually start the synchronization from the status bar at the bottom of Photoshop Elements. I have even un-installed and re-installed Photoshop Elements. Nothing works.
Anything else I can try to get this working again?

After 2 hours on the phone, the first hour waiting listening to music waiting
for a rep, i got one, Rahul, that took over half hour to figure out it has to do with camera raw files. He wanted me to have to remove XMP files, then go back and try to upload the raw files, and if it worked then I could move back the XMP files to the original files. This was totally defeating the purpose of auto backup/sync. So another words, the product doesn't do what it states,and from looking at the forums, many others have had the same problems with the backup and sync.... guess they may come out with a fix in version 9???
spent another half hour trying to get a refund for the extra storage I purchased. WELL...had an Alex Oyos state that that subscriptions (annual storage) is not refundable, so sorry but when your product doesn't work and I have spent over 16 hours in the last 2 weeks trying to get it to work, I will get a refund
long story short, I am supposedly getting my refund in 7-10 days, I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges, and as much as I love photoshop, I will have nothing but negative feelings about their customer service/ tech support.
SO BUYER BEWARE! I would highly recommend not buying or using the storage/backup that Adobe offers with elements 8, but use one of the many other online services for backup, I know I am. It's a saftey backup in addition to the external backup hard drive that I have.

IPod not uploading new music after I reformatted computer

I have a 5G 30GB iPod Video that hasn't given me any problems in the past. I just did a complete system restore on my laptop because my hard drive crashed (luckily I had just backed up my music) so I've put everything back to how it was before, but I've also downloaded some new music.
Now, when I plug in my iPod, it recognizes the iPod just fine, shows all the statistics (free space, etc...) but it won't upload any of the new music...even when I right click on the iPod and click sync. It will say iPod updating, but it doens't upload any of the music. Any ideas?

Have you checked to see if the ipod is set to update automatically in itunes? If you use your ipod on another computer and set it to update manually there this setting will stay with the ipod.

Ipod nano not uploading new songs

When I plug my nano in the screen flashes "do not disconect" but it wont load any of my music and my ipod is not showing up in the sources list either. Help please!

Icloud photo does not upload from iphone

Dear Apple (yes other users I know this is not for Apple. Like many I am fed up by not seeing this issue fix even after OS 10.10.3 and iOS 8.3, so pardon me if I'm a bit testy).
For many many months since the iCloud Photo Beta we (I will take the liberty to speak for others in another thread that was titled 'beta' and we have been chastised and told in no uncertain terms to start a new thread so here)... have had situations where iPhone and iPad will not upload new photos to iCloud Photo. nor does it download 'as advertised'.
Please don't ask us if we have tried turning iCloud Photo off-on-off on our iOS devices, we have.
Left iPhoto in 10.10.3 running... turned everything off everywhere... turned it back on everywhere...
Submitted (me, probably 5 times) to the Feedback APple or whatever it is called.
Submitted error reports from iCloud Photo on the web which cannot start do anything... about 5 times...
So, till now nothing.
But I will help to grow your $180bn reserves by feeding a measly $3.99 a month for 250GB (or is that $2.99? can't remember now)... for NOTHING. At least I'm keeping some allocation warm.

Help!!! Problem when uploading new ipod touch software

Hi, really hoping someone can help!
I connected my ipod to itunes and it asked me if i wanted to download new software for ipod touch so i did, then when it finished downloading it automatically started updating my ipod but before it finished i got an error message saying something like could not upload new software on ipod. i clicked ok and my ipod disappeared from the display list on itunes
now my ipod isn't showing in itunes despite being connected via USB and it won't do anything, i just have a screen with a picture of a usb and an arrow pointing to the itunes icon.
i have absolutely no idea what to do now, please help!

Try another pc,The latest updades 3.3 did a lot of damage to my ipod simmilar to yours.I connected it to another pc then did a restore then went back to the original pc where my music is,be weary of that update.good luck.

FTP DW5 suddenly is not uploading some images - or at least not showing them on site

Dreamweaver is not uploading new & changed images.
BUT - images that were on webpages before this started happening today are intact, even after I upload the updated page.
What appears on the webpage in place of the image is a blank box with the small 'broken picture' icon, sometimes with the access text description. The images' file names appear in the source coding. Ex. http://www.wnytrauma.org/index20.html
I uploaded my Local Files to the Remote Server, but that didn't help
I don't know enough to figure out if this is a coding error or an FTP error.

Try image capture or a card reader - after the photos are safely on your Mac then use the camera's format command to reformat the memory card

WebJob disappeared, cannot upload new one

Hi,
I've been using WebJobs for a few months now with no complain.
Today, suddenly, parts of my site stopped working. Checking the Portal, I was horrified to find out the WebJob simply disappeared. There is no trace of it anywhere in the portal.
I quickly tried to upload the WebJob again, but I keep getting the "Could not upload new job" message.
This a production, commercial website, and I just cannot understand and accept how did this happen. Where is the original WebJob? Why can't I upload a new one?

"Auto download latest entitled folio on first launch"

MOH not working on specific phone number after uploading new MOH file

We have Cisco Unified CM Administration version 8.0.3.20000-2.
Our college has a global MOH (music on hold) file (MOH_040208) that plays for everyone. I was trying to figure out how to upload a different music file (MOH_101311) to see if I could get that MOH file to play only on my phone number (extension). I uploaded a file via Cisco Unified CM Administration>Media Resources>MOH Audio File Management. The upload appeared to be successful (no errors). Then, I went to Media Resources>Music On Hold Server Audio Sources and assigned the next available stream number (#3) to this newly uploaded MOH file.
Next, I went to Device>selected my device name>selected Line #1 and changed the User Hold MOH Audio Source and Network Hold MOH Audio Source from <None> to the newly uplodaded file, MOH_101311. I saved and applied config. During testing, I found that when my line puts anyone on hold, all they hear is silence. However, the college's global music on hold plays for everyone else. On my line, I removed the selection from User Hold MOH Audio Source and Network Hold MOH Audio Source, which put it back to its default of <None>. I deleted the MOH_101311 file from the phone system by removing it from the following two locations: Cisco Unified CM Administration>Media Resources>MOH Audio File Management and Media Resources>Music On Hold Server Audio Sources. However, my line will still not play music when I put someone on hold; then caller only hears silence. I rebooted my phone by unplugging it and plugging it back in, but this did not resolve the issue.
Did I do something incorrectly when trying to get a new MOH file to play on a specific phone number/extension? If so, can someone tell me the correct steps?
Any suggestions on how to make my phone number/extension go back to the way it was and play the college's default MOH file?

Try resetting it: hold on/off and home buttons simultaneously 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple logo (ignoring the red off slider which appears first), release and wait for the phone to restart.
