Next n

Question

Hi,
I have a query that returns 10,000 rows (a Noticeboard /
Forum). Currently posts from the last 14 days are displayed and
when they drop off they are available in a search archive. That's
ok.
For seo, I need to be able to use Next n functionality to,
effectively, paginate right through all 10k rows - maybe 14 days or
100 rows at a time.
This is my query now:

<cfquery datasource="myDB" name="getSummary">
select Summary_ID, Summary_Author, Summary_LastPostDate,

#CreateODBCDateTime("#fourteenDays#")#
order by Summary_Sticky desc, Summary_LastPostDate desc
</cfquery>
Does anyone have any suggestions on if / how I can achieve
this without having a query that returns 10k + rows? All Next n
code I have used / searched and found uses a blanket query and then
limits by:
<cfoutput query="getSummary" startrow="#currentStart#"
maxrows="20">
etc

Well, you can't page through 10K rows of results unless you
*have* them to page through. The only way to have less result rows
to page through is to return less rows via your query.
