NI 7966R - problem deploying the bitfile.

I have the following set up
PXIe 1085 chasiss with three NI PXIe 7966R FPGAs in it.
I am connected to a remote host via the MXI using a PXIe-8381
I tried running the NI 5761 - Single Sample CLIP.lvproj that ships with LabVIEW examples just to get things up and running.
and I get the following message on all targets ...
Compilation was fine but can't seem to deploy the bitfile ...

Maciej

  • Problem deploying the sample application

    anyone had success deploying the Identity Server 5.1 sample applications? I was trying to deploy and run the Authentication sample by going through the directions given in the readme file. I deployed it using amadmin utility and after that i dont know what to do. The instructions are not clear and i think the sample is not in sync with 5.1 version.
    Any feedback is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Hugo

    Yes that is true ..
    I had to modify the steps quite a bit to get it to run ..
    see details below ..
    set the following class paths ..
    JAVA_HOME - Set this variable to your installation of JDK. The JDK should be newer than JDK 1.2.2.
    CLASSPATH - Modify the /opt to the base of your installation. Install_Directory/SUNWam/web-apps/services/WEB-INF/lib directory.
    BASE_CLASS_DIR - Set this variable to the directory where all the Sample compiled classes are located.
    JAR_DIR - Set this variable to the directory where the JAR files of the Sample compiled classes will be created.
    after this in the Makefile make sure to comment JAVA_HOME env variable, you can comment it using #
    and then run make
    this should generate the jar files ..
    cp the jar files to Install_Directory/SUNWam/web-apps/services/WEB-INF/lib".
    Copy AuthenticationSample.properties from Install_Directory/SUNWam/samples/authentication/providers to Install_Directory/SUNWam/web-apps/services/WEB-INF/config/auth/default.
    make a copy of amAuth.xml in /install_dir/SUNWam/config/xml
    in the following line
    <AttributeSchema name="iplanet-am-auth-authenticators"
    type="list"
    syntax="string"
    i18nKey="a17">
    <DefaultValues>
    (add the line below to the existing list of lines) <Value>com.iplanet.am.samples.authentication.providers.AuthenticationSample</Value>
    </DefaultValues>
    </AttributeSchema>
    also modify the auth menu to add the sample ..
    <AttributeSchema name="iplanet-am-auth-menu"
    type="multiple_choice"
    syntax="string"
    i18nKey="a1">
    <ChoiceValues>
    <Value>LDAP</Value>
    <Value>Radius</Value>
    <Value>Membership</Value>
    <Value>Anonymous</Value>
    <Value>Cert</Value>
    <Value>AuthenticationSample</Value>
    </ChoiceValues>
    <DefaultValues>
    <Value>LDAP</Value>
    </DefaultValues>
    </AttributeSchema>
    Delete iPlanetAMAuthService entry and then import (the modified) amAuth.xml using amadmin.
    cd <install-root>/SUNWam/bin
    ./amadmin --runAsDN uid=amAdmin,ou=People,<default_org>,<root_suffix> --password <password> --deleteService iPlanetAMAuthService
    ./amadmin --runAsDN uid=amAdmin,ou=People,<default_org>,<root_suffix> --password <password> --schema amAuth.xml
    Add the AuthenticationSample.jar file path to the Web server JVM classpath:
    cd Install_Directory/SUNWam/servers/https-<host>.<domain>/config
    Modify jvm12.conf to add Install_Directory/SUNWam/web-apps/services/WEB-INF/lib/AuthenticationSample.jar path to the JVM classpath.

  • Problem deploying an EJB that uses the JCE 1.2.1 api

    We are deploying a JAR file containing all EJBs of our application on
    Weblogic 5.1 SP4 and we're getting a DeploymentException (which is
    fully included at the end of the message).
    We have no problem deploying the same JAR file on WebLogic 5.1 SP8.
    We have isolated each EJB, so that one EJB is pack into is own JAR
    file. We were able to deploy all EJBs but the one using the JCE 1.2.1
    api.
    Is there any issue using JCE 1.2.1 within an EJB under WL SP4 ?
    As I mentionned earlier, everything works fine with SP8 ?
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Problem deploying Duke's Bookstore JavaEE5 example

    Hello everyone,
    I am having problems deploying the Duke's Bookstore example. I am trying to follow the tutorial.
    I have already updated the information concerning AS_ADMIN_PASSWORD on the file "build.properties". It took me some times... by the way i am new in J2EE tecnology and i am trying to get the example working so i can see the example running.
    Right now i am able to run ant to build the example so i get the .war file and the other files in the "build" and "dist" directory.
    I am stock in the operation concerning the database. I get to the same error weather i try "ant deploy" or "ant create-tables"... this is the message that i get:
    C:\javaeetutorial5\examples\web\bookstore1>ant deploy
    Buildfile: build.xml
    check:
    tools:
    -pre-deploy:
    -pre-init:
    init:
    check:
    tools:
    start-db:
    [exec] Database already started on host localhost, port 1527.
    [exec] Command start-database executed successfully.
    delete-tables:
    [sql] Executing file: C:\javaeetutorial5\examples\web\bookstore1\${db.delete.src}
    BUILD FAILED
    C:\javaeetutorial5\examples\web\bookstore1\build.xml:25: The following error occurred while executing this line:
    C:\javaeetutorial5\examples\bp-project\database-ant.xml:48: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\javaeetutorial5\examples\web\boo
    kstore1\${db.delete.src} (El sistema no puede hallar el archivo especificado)
    Total time: 7 seconds
    By the way, i am spanish thats why the error message its in spanish! :)
    Its saids something about a missing file, a file that it can not be found. I dont know which one is the missing file... so i dont know what to do.
    I have looked both "build.xml" and "database-ant.xml" to see if i see something, but as i told you i am need in J2EE and this is getting very difficult.
    It seems very easy in the tutorial, but in practice you have to do other things to make it works. I dont know why this information it is not in the tutorial.
    I really hope that somebody can help me...
    Thx in advances

    Check to make sure that this file exists. It should. You don't have to create it or edit it, as it is shipped with the correct properties for the tutorial.
    Also, have you followed the instructions on setting javaee.home in your build.properties, as described here:

  • Problem deploying JDeveloper files

    Hi, I'm new to jdeveloper, and i'm having some problem deploying the applets that the wizard makes, i deployed the files into a zip and when i unziped them, the html file that was in the zip keeps comming up with can't find package.test.class (package is the name of my package and test is teh name of my applet), can anyone help me? thank you.
    Will

    John - JDeveloper Team:
    I am not sure what you are doing exactly, but
    The HTML file references the class file
    that must be found on the CLASSPATH.
    You may want to experiment with AppletViewer
    until you figure it out. Remember your
    CLASSPATH must point to a directory whose
    SUB-DIrectory is named package
    I am assuming your file is named Test.java
    and the output will be Test.class!You may also want to use a batch file included
    in the [JDeveloper]\bin directory called
    SetVars.bat which sets up such information
    for you when you are in a CMD shell.

  • Problem deploying JSR168 portlets; Tomcat, Win2003

    Dear All,
    Am having some problems deploying the JSR168 portlets on Tomcat 4.1 and Win2003.
    This is on Windows, and I have to manually deploy it per the instructions...
    So far I__
    1. Exploded the .war and added ptjsr168 to pthome.xml per the sparse installation pdf;
    2. stopped tomcat, deleted the cache (contents of the work directory), restarted.
    3. verified that the application appears in the work directory
    but get the error,
    /PtPortletContainer/portlet/RssPortlet/mode/view
    descriptionThe requested resource (/PtPortletContainer/) is not available.
    ...when I try to browse there to get the correct URL tp paste into the remote server, something like:
    http://portlets.mycustomer.com:8080/ptjsr168/
    The extension to this in the web service is, by default:
    /PtPortletContainer/portlet/RssPortlet/mode/view
    I may be typing the URL wrong, for all I know. Something simple.
    Any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Rob

    You can verify whether your portlet works correctly by testing it on OpenPortal Portlet Container(https://portlet-container.dev.java.net). Or if you think the issue is with Pluto Portal I would recommend posting your issue on the Pluto Portal mail alias.

    Sanjay Joshi

    Hi All,
    I have tried same thing in different different environment.  Different environment mean different azure account and office 365 account. But still the issue persists.
    i feel some issue in my office network or in servers. Because couple of days back same thing was working in my private virtual machine in my private network instead of office.
    For me i observe a basic problem in this network.
    The pop up to provide trust to the app (that come with title "Grant permission to app") comes while i deploy the solution and gets close automatically without clicking trust.
    Might be this could be the reason for me ?. because closing of pop up is not providing authentication to my app.
    This happens in every server in my office network.
    Any suggestions on that. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    there is only one software version. Whether or not you have to license it depends on the features you use.
    Generate the code in the mapping editor using the "generate" button
    In the generation result window, select generation style = intermediate and operating mode = "[PL/SQL] Set based"
    Now you have to select some input or output group of some operator in your mapping.
    Then the generation result window displays an SQL statement that represents the data that would go into the group you have selected.
    Run the SQL directly in your target schema (using sql*plus, sql developer, etc.).
    If the SQL cannot be executed, the problem is in that particular part of the mapping.
    You may try to locate it further.
    Good luck,
    Carsten.

  • Problems with the par file of Browse Deployment

    Hi,
    I had an error message with the com.sap.portal.support.browse.default in Browse deployment, that this iView is not found.
    Fortunately I had a file with the same name, so I uploaded it, but it was the wrong one (Why do they all have the same file name?). I uploaded the par file of the masthead, so every time i click on the browse deployment link I get the masthead and now I have no chance to download other par files.
    Do I still have the right iView on the Server or in the Portal? If yes, where? Or can anybody send me the right par file?
    e-Mail: Ulli_Arndt(at)gmx.de
    Thanks in advance!
    greetings,
    Ulrike

    Hello Ulrike,
    Most companies use different servers for development and Production. The Browse Deployment Option should be used only with the development server. If you're going to use it with the Production server, there could be problems, as the two servers have a different architecture.
    Once you sign in to the DEVELOPMENT SERVER using your user id, ensure that you have the Systems Administration Role and click on the tab corresponding to the same.
    Then select Support.
    Select Portal Runtime.
    Select Browse Deployment.
    Once you do this, you'll see a filepath on top of the page just below the top level navigation area. Here's where most people commonly make a mistake.
    Ensure that the breadcrumb is EXACTLy as follows:
    ROOT/WEB-INF/deployment/temp
    If this is not the case, clcik on ROOT in the filepath displayed on your screen and navigate along the filepath above so you reach the correct iView.
    You should now see a list of files with the extension .par.bak.
    Upon downloading any of these files, the downloaded .rar file for most of the files with have the same filename. Once you unzip this file once or twice, you'll get a .par.bak file with the same filename as the one you downloaded. Rename the extracted .par.bak file by removing the .bak extension. You'll be left with a .par extension now.
    You can now import this file in NWDS and work on it as required.
    I hope this helps. Let me know if you have anyfurther questions. Screenshots are alsways helpful, especially of the filepath on the top of your screen.
    Regards,
    Farsheed
