NitroX unreleased lock on lib dir (Win2000)

When I create new project "Web Application Project" and then i want to delete it, also with contents then I get an error. When I go to project dir and i want to delete it manually (without eclipse) it says that files are still in use. I have checked it - javaw.exe is using them (mst_isusedby.exe). Closing project didn't help also.
I think it is a bug, or give me an answer how to obey it.
Greets.
Luke from Poland.

This is a known issue, please follow below workaround to delete the project.
* Right click on Project > Delete
* In the confirmation dialog select "Yes" for "Do not delete contents"
* Quit NitroX
* using windows explorer navigate to project location and delete the folder
Thanks

  • Secure store lib dir does not exist - unable to open config tool

Hi we are using NW 7.0 with windows 2005 (AS java).
when i click on configtool in central instance it says
Error occured while working with configuration( scanning)
Msg: Error occured : secure store lib Dir does not exist :
    server\sapmnt\SID\SYS\global\security\lib\tools
    please suggest
    Thanks

    HI ,
    Was config tool working earlier?
Please check if direcories sapmnt & saploc exist are you are able to access them.Check permission on it.
May be your windows server got patched and some security policy got changed.Worth a revisiting and checking.
Other thing you can try is take a backup of bootstrap.properties file and modify the location of library from
server\sapmnt\J2EE\sys\global\security\lib\tools to \usr\sap\J2EE\sys\global\security\lib in the bootstrap file.

  • Secure store Lib Dir doesn't exits

    Hi,
I have installed local java engine.but its not gettting started.
when i try to open configtool, its asking do you want to use default DB settings?
when i say yes,its trowing error.
Error occured while working with configuration
msg: Secure store lib dir doesnot exist. gives the path.  //.......sys/global/security/lib/tools
could you please tell me how to resolve it.

    Hello,
is the directory //.......sys/global/security/lib/tools actually created
on the unix filesystem and are the required files there ?
I can remember one case, where an unplanned shutdown of the LPAR
caused some files from the filesystem to "disappear".
The files were found in the lost+found directory.
You can search for the files using command find / -type f -name <filename>
When you found out you can copy it across using the cp command.
    Hope this was useful.
    Kind regards,
    Andreas

  • Lock VI.Lib User.Lib VIs

So recently I found myself accidentally editing some VIs in my user.lib.  They were some reuse VIs that I was making a copy of to edit, and instead of editing my copy I edited the original.  Because of this I went through and made all reuse VIs locked but with no password to help others from making the same mistake.
So now when the reuse library is installed and a user opens, they will need to unlock it before editing.  Not a big deal and it isn't hiding anything behind a password.  But it got me thinking, should NI do something similar with their VIs?  Is this one step to help users from editing these files?  Is it not necessary?  And can anyone think of any draw backs to mass locking a reuse library.

    Jeff·Þ·Bohrer wrote:
The simpler solution is to make them read only and hit the ini option to treat them as locked.  In Fact, your SCC does this already.  Unless you check out the library you intend to edit, the files will be read only.  That ini setting is one of my favorites and has saved me many headaches.
Depending on where I am- vi.llb gets set to read only and some user's are handed ini files that contain the treat read only vis as locked flag set and told to never ever change it or "Pain there will be pain!" and I've been known to have a vi.lib back-up on a thumb drive on my key-ring! (Some users just have to learn the hard way!)
Onto the next observation: if you are making a copy of a reuse vi to edit you probably saved it with the wrong extension in the wrong location.  it belongs somewhere in templates as a vit.
I didn't fully explain my situation.  This VI is not the kind of thing that I would want a VIT for.  It was a utility VI that I wanted to see if I could improve so I wanted to save a copy elsewhere, as a new VI then edit it and compare the performance to the one in the user.lib which I expected to be untouched.
I started by setting all files to read only.  This is faster then having to open a reference, edit, and resave the VI.  But as soon as installed the reuse library on a new version of LabVIEW it had to mass compile, which it had problems doing since I couldn't resave the file.  Part of the package making process involves opening references to update description and such so I already have the reference open.  Adding the Lock to the VIs I wanted didn't seem to add much overhead.
Thanks for the link to the Idea exchange I did a search on locking VIs but that didn't come up.  The discussion is very interesting since I use Save All quite often.
Edit: Oh geez.  I event commented in that idea exchange shows how much I remember.

  • WebLogic 8.1 SP6 NoClassDefFoundError for jar in WEB-INF/lib dir (Solaris)

    Hi,
I am getting a NoClassDefFoundError for a class that is contained in the WEB-INF/lib folder of my ear/war file.
The strange thing is that this only fails when i try to deploy to production. In UAT (also on Solaris) and in Windows (test) the exact same versions of the deployment / ear file everything seems fine and the class is accessed.
When i added the jar file to the classpath i experienced a "Unsupported major.minor version...." of this class error so i am reluctant to go down that route and anyway would rather consistent deployment between the systems.
I would REALLY appreciate any suggestions as to what might be the cause or what i could try.
    Thanks,
    David

Thanks for your replies. Sorry if i didn't post enough information for you...
I appear to have found the problem (i managed to recreate in Windows) but have no idea why this is occuring.
In the startManagedWebLogic.cmd file, if i specify "set JAVA_OPTIONS= xxxxxx" then the system will not pick up this one jar file. This appears to be the case even with "set JAVA_OPTIONS=-Dweblogic.attribute=value -Djava.attribute=value" which i assume is a default value as i can't remember having set it... The moment i comment out this set JAVA_OPTIONS line then the system is able to find the jar file.
    (Answering your questions:
    - The class in question is being referenced from another class also contained in a jar file in the WEB-INF/lib directory
    - the WEB-INF is part of the WAR which is contained in the EAR which is deployed on my server)
For now i am ok but know that in a future build i am going to have to use the JAVA_OPTIONS parameter so would really appreciate any suggestions as to why this might be happening.
    Thanks,
    David

  • How to specify qt lib dir?

How do you specify the QT lib directory in a PKGBUILD? I'm trying to build ktorrent 2.2.7, but it complains that it can't find the QT libraries.
My guess is that it's something like one of these two options:
export QT_LIB=/opt/kde/lib   (before the configure line)
    --qtlib=/opt/kde/lib   (in the configure line)

Isn't there any INSTALL/README file which contains related informations? Or you could see that on the site from Trolltech.

  • Lib dir in ejb jar?

    Hi.
Is there anyway to add jar's to a ejb jar?
(The same way as in a war file. WEB-INF/lib)
And i dont want to unpack the jar files.
i have the same problem with ear files..
    Thanks.
    /Anders

You have to use an ear file. Package your third party jars inside ear file and
then use "classpath" inside Manifest.mf for ejb.jar file or .war file in order
to reference those jars. This is described here:
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs61/ejb/EJB_deployover.html#1074087
For an excellent example on jars depenency in ear downlowd depend.zip from:
    http://developer.bea.com/techtracks/ejb/index.jsp

  • Secure Store lib Dir does not exist

My system: Enterprise Portal 6.0 in Windows 2003 R2 in SCS-instance in MSCS Cluster
Having moved all ressources to node 2 I can no longer start my appl.server on node 1, since it searches for the Secure Store on P:, which is only available on node 2.
I would like to update the path of the Secure Store to an UNC-path. Problem is that the only reference to P:\ I can find (and therefore makes sense to change) is in <DIR_INSTANCE>\j2ee\cluster\<node>\cfg\kernel\ConfigurationManager.properties, where node is dispatcher or server[012] (4 locations). Other relevant files point to the UNC-path already.
I can see all files in ..\cfg\kernel is updated at the time of my last attempt to start the appl.server, so I suppose the P:\ reference is stored elsewhere...but where?
    BR Lars

No, haven't checked environment variables. In my opinion none is needed. Please elaborate on which variables you're referring to.

  • How to use the static lib of berkeleydb in VC6?

I know there is a libdb45s.lib. But when I try to link my project to it, VC6 reports many errors. Even the getting start examples cannot link correctly. The documents coming with berkeley db do not tell me how to link project to the lib, no matter static or dynamic.
Could anyone tell me how to use the static lib libdb45s.lib and how to link it properly?
    OS: Windows XP pro SP2
    IDE: Virsual C++ 6.0 sp6
    BDB: 4.5.20
Here is what I have done to link the libdb45s.lib:
1.Add BDB related diretorys to VC6 link/lib dirs
    2.Add #include <db.c> to my .cpp file, I use the C API
    3.Change Project Options
    Link-> Libs/Objects-> add "libdb45s.lib"
C/C++-> code generation-> Use Run Time Library-> MutiThreaded
    Link-> Ignore Library-> MSVCRT
4.Build, here is the output, hope it would be some help:

I wrote up a simple test case for this and it works fine for me.
I suppose there are diffences. ;)
    I am using:
    WebLogic Server 7.0 SP1 Mon Sep 9 22:46:58 PDT 2002 206753
    Take the attached zip, unzip.
    cd to directory
    ant build
then deploy it via the console, or
java weblogic.Deployer -adminurl t3://127.0.0.1:7001 -user weblogic -password
weblogic -activate -name mywebapp2 -source e:/weblogic/dev/sandbox/griffith/apps/output/exploded_mywebapp_lib/
    Then:
    http://c863775-d:7001/exploded_mywebapp_lib/frobber
works for me. My servlet implments an interface in the jar in my lib dir.
    Cheers

  • Working with tag-library which is packed in WEB-INF\lib\jar-file.jar:

    Hi,
When importing a webworks war file, which contains default taglib.tld in the webworks.jar which is packed in /Web-Inf/lib/webworks.2.1.7.jar the war file.
I am getting following error while running the jsp.
Error(6): duplicated tag definitions within the same TLD: text
    Error(6): java.lang.NullPointerException
Error(6): Unable to load taghandler class: /webwork
Line which points to Errors is "<%@ taglib prefix="ww" uri="/webwork" %>"
    But, There is a taglib.tld in /Web-Inf/lib/webworks.2.1.7.jar!\meta-inf\tablib.tld
    which mentions uri as
    <taglib>
    <tlib-version>2.2.1</tlib-version>
    <jsp-version>1.2</jsp-version>
    <short-name>WebWork Taglib</short-name>
    <uri>/webwork</uri>
    </taglib>
But, There is no following entry for '/webwork' (uri) in web.xml
Same war is working fine in tomcat webserver.
Can anybody explain me how to work with this kind of a setup, where taglib is packed in some jar which is packed in Web-Inf/lib dir.
    Thanks,
    Siva

I found the problem. The web-app was finding the class in the APP-INf/lib. But the problem was being caused due to a reference to another class that was being loaded by the webapp classloader which was not visible to the class inside the common jar. The solution was to make sure both classes were being loaded by one class loader.
    Thanks anyway

  • Jce in web-inf/lib - does not work

    Hi all!
    I've got the following problem:
I accomplished to form an ear file that contains an ejb jar and a war file. The
ejb jar manifest includes several jars that are part of the ear file. Additionally
the web app needs the following jars: local_policy.jar, jce1_2_1.jar, US_export_policy.jar
When I put these files into the WEB-INF/lib of the webapp or into Manifest's Class-Path
of the ejb.jar I always get the same behaviour:
I can deploy it (yipieeh) but when I run the web app I get the following exception
    (uieehh):
java.lang.SecurityException: Cannot authenticate JCE framework java.lang.SecurityException:
The JCE framework has unsigned class files. at com.sun.crypto.provider.SunJCE.a([DashoPro-V1.2-120198])

Surprisingly it works when I put the jar files into wls6.1SP2's lib directory
respectively to wls's classpath! But what I need is one ear file that contains
    everything ...
Please if you know this problem, a workaround or you have only a guess reply to
    this message.
    Thanks for every serious response,
    Chris.

Well if you got the jar file to work in the /lib/ dir of the EAR file with
the manifest.mf Class-Path: entry then more power to you. This didn't work
for me for some reason, just let each ejb/war/etc compile to its own dir and
deploy it with all its dependencies included...
Your MalformedURL exception looks different than the security exception you
had earlier. Im guessing that putting the files in a common location in the
ear solved the class loading/security exception problem.
Your malformedURL problem is probably just that, a malformed URL.
Make sure all your associated metadata is pointing to the right place (use
paths of /someApp/somejsp.jsp, etc. dont use ../../somejsp.jsp)
make sure your using the right protocol (dont put one by default). This
would be my guess. Maybe its expecting an SSL call of the form
    https://something or t3s://something but I'm not sure
    hope this helps,

First of all: Thanks for your response
    "Michael Lee" <[email protected]> wrote:
Your getting that error because different wars run in different class
loaders. It does not trust the other class loaders files unless they're
signed in some way. I think one way you can do this is set up a
security.policy? file for each war that tells what files are allowedI was thinking about that but: How can I do that?
    from
where. Here's the way the WLS class loaders work...
    WLS system class loader
    |
    EAR class loader
    |
    EJB class loader
    |
    WAR class loader
everything down on the chain there can see up, but not vice versa. You
    will
    get a class not found
That way, the war files can call ejb's without problems, but EJBs can
    not
    access war file classes.
One other possible way around your problem is to add a /lib/... directory
    to
your EAR and include a Class-Path: section in your manifest to point
    to the
JCE files. I think this allows war files to see each others classes. You have to manipulate the EJB-Manifest and put the jar files into the earfile!
At least this is how it worked in my case! But I 've tried that alreadybut then
I get a very similiar Exception: something with can not authenticate: ..MalormedURLException:
    no protocol ...
    This
didn't work for me when I tried to create a shared library between
    EJBs/WARs
but I didnt try to share files between 2 wars so who knows.
    Hope this helps some,

If I comment out the calls to Hibernate from my code, the error changes a little. So, it must be one of the libraries in the web-inf/lib dir. I have appended the new stack trace and a list of jars i that directory....got any ideas about the culprit??? I'll start the trial and error process....but if anyone knows i would appreciate it.

  • Weblogic 10.3 weblogic.socket.UnrecoverableConnectException Missing in lib

    Hi Weblogic Guru:
We use JMX to retrieve information from domainruntime, the code works fine if use Weblogic 9.2's libraries. However when use weblogic 10.3 libraries, it throws NoClassDefFound for weblogic.socket.UnrecoverableConnectException at the point of calling JMXConnectorFactory.connect(serviceURL, h).
We searched around using jarBrowser in weblogic 10.3 server lib dir, but could not find any jar which include that class. Any idea? Thanks.

  • Where is Sun One Web Server's equivalent to Tomcat's common/lib

i'm new to sun one web server and i'm trying to set up a connection pool. i set up a resource using the server manager but when i try to run my app, it produces a
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSourcei have the oracle driver jar i just dn't know where to put it.
    can anyone help?

No, the jars would not be picked up unless they are explicitely added to the server.xml classpathsuffix, or put in the web server instance lib directory.
Ex 1: putting them in the instance lib dir (no need to add them to classpathsuffix):
    /opt/SUNWwbsvr/https-hostname.domainname/lib/
Ex. 2: If you have a jar file in your home directory, for example:
    /home/username/lib/classes12.jar
You could have to add it to the classpath prefix in server.xml:
    <JAVA ... classpathsuffix="/home/username/lib/classes12.jar" ... >
In this case, you could have all three server pointing to the same jar.
The nativelibrarypathprefix is for native lib files (platform specific files, not jars)
