No airplay in command center

Why does Airplay not show up in my command center (4S model)?  It does show up in my wife's 4S after download.

If you don't see the AirPlay icon in Control Center:
1. Reset the AirPlay devices
2. Reboot the router
3. Reboot the iPad

  • My airplay is missing from the command center menu on my iPad. How do I get it back after the iOS 7 update?

I recently updated to iOS 7 on my ipad2 and 3 before I realized airplay no longer works on either of them. I understand I should be able to manage it in the new command center, but airdrop nor airplay is listed there at all. I have tried turning the iPad off and back on as well as resetting it. How can I get it back?

Try looking for it on all your home screens and folders.
If its not there, make sure it diod not get restricted under Settings->General->Restrictions->Camera

  • HT4623 No airplay icon in command center after 7.0 download

I have no icon for Airplay in the command center after downloading 7.0.
The Apple website show it in the area. Help!

I was having the same problem until I realized Airplay was set to "off" on my apple tv.
If airplay doesn't show up in your control center, check settings->airplay on your apple tv and make sure airplay is actually turned on.
Hope that helps someone else out there.

  • Also got an issue with MSI command center, maybe windows is to blame?

MSI Command Center crashes every time after it's been running a little while, googling it I've noticed there have been a lot of topics about it crashing. I think someone here on this forum suggested reinstalling windows might help :/ Not too keen on that but better now than when I've installed a ton of stuff on the PC.
Actually both MSI command center and Intel extreme tuning utility crash for me. MSI command center crashes after a while it's been running and Intel extreme tuning utility crashes every time I click on the settings menu.
I wonder if something is still wrong with my OS, first time I installed windows 8.1 games crashed if they ran in fullscreen but ran fine in windowed mode. Later after reinstalling widows games started working fine, in fact I haven't had any crashes since (other than from these 2 programs).
Just yesterday I decided to make a bootable USB drive for windows 8.1 and I noticed that my PCcouldn't actually create an ISO from the windows CD cause the DVD drive couldn't read it properly no matter how many times I tried. My other PC managed to read the Windows DVD just fine, so managed to make a bootable USB drive after all. Donno how it managed to install windows at all, it did struggle a bit.
I wonder if doing a repair install or a completely fresh install of Windows now when my PC can actually read the windows installation media properly would fix these last issues.
Is there a difference between a clean install of windows and an install where it keeps all settings and programs? Think reinstalling windows a 3rd time would help (3rd time is the charm right?) Think reinstalling windows again would help?

This issue isn't super important but I don't like programs crashing. None of the games I've played so far crash. (after I reinstalled windows once) Windows never crashes, and the PC has never crashed either so far.
Both MSI command center (version 1.0.0.82) and intel extreme tuning utility (version 5.1.0.23) crash. Both are kinda same type of programs it seems. MSI CC crashes sometimes immediately sometimes 15 minutes after I start it. The intel program crashes every time I click on the settings menu. MSI CC gives those errors when it crashes, the Intel program has no errors recorded in the event viewer when it crashes.
    Board: MSI Z97 Gaming 5
Bios: Version 1.0 (Well that's what CPU-Z says it is)

    COOLER: Noctua nh-d15
    OC: Everything stock (for now)
    OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
I tried reinstalling windows by keeping all applications and settings, that didn't help at all. I could still do a fresh windows 8.1 install and remove everything, still I'd rather avoid doing that if I can. Maybe I'll just ignore the errors. Perhaps it's something related to the motherboard since both are these sort of OCing software.

  • How to add an Icon to a parent menu item in Command Center?

    Hi guys,
does anybody know how to add an icon to a parent maenu item in Command Center? BTW, I'm using SBO 6.5
    Cheers,
    Oki

The SDK doesn't provide any features for adding icons to the command center in SBO6.5.
Version 2004 has a new image property for menu items that can be used.

  • Better Fan Control in Command center?

I am looking for a way to set my system fans to 20% (like you can for the CPU fans) or set them to 0%(Off) for a certain temp setting.
Is there a way to do this with command center (Thinking INI config or something)
if there is no way currently to do this, where can I make a feature request?

Actually you can have them off for low temp..at least for mine.
I am actually using an LED strip in the case fan 2 plug
I have the Z97 Gaming 5.. and in the bios I have the smart fan setup once it hits 40 it lights the led, but then min is 50% (I wish it could be less!) then as the temp increases, it gets brighter.
At idle, the led is off...
would be really nice if the case fans had the option for 20% like the cpu..
So have you looked at the bios fan settings?
waiiit... I wonder if I could connect it to the CPU fan 2!!! then it can be as low as 20% lol

  • Someone using TDameritrade Command Center on OS X Tiger?

I'm not sure I can ask this question this board.
But I tried to solve the problem with TD tech support but that seems new problem to them so far.
And I'm wondering if someone here is using TD service.
    The problem is as follows.
After upgrading their tool(Command Center 2.0) last night, the problem occurred on my PowerBook. The chart, index is working. But the watch list and account value is not available.
Please let me know if someone's using their service or knowing this problem.
    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the information. I tried Shift at boot up and Repair disk permission, but it didn't change anything.
I kept talking with TD tech support and tried something different approach. The last try to re-install newer Java (from Software Update) helped to solve the problem. It seemed like that TD upgrade some system or tool last night, the changes were related to newer Java or so...

    Hello,
    I have a MS-7816 (Z87-G43) with BIOS v1,30.  An Intel CPU i5-4440 with Windows 8.1 64bit as OS.
First, Command center v1.0.0.59 was working OK.
I have tried to install the Command center v1.0.0.65 (from MSI download), 1.0.0.67 (from https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=180757.msg1300549#msg1300549) and 1.0.0.68 (from https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=180210.msg1300872#msg1300872), all with checking before that the old folder has been removed.  Too bad, all versions get stuck at the loading screen (CC_LoadingPage.exe) with the horizontal scrolling bar.  It never freezes, but Command center never opens.
So I have to kill the CC_LoadingPage.exe process.
    MSIClockService.exe   (MSIClock_CC), CPU_Frequency.exe, CPU_Ratio.exe, MSIBIOSDataService.exe, MSICommService.exe, MSIControlService.exe, MSICPUService.exe, MSIDDRService.exe, MSISMBService.exe, MSISuperIOService.exe and MSI_Trigger_Service.exe (from the VGA Boost util) are the other MSI services running.

  • Command center vs Bios/led temps not matching

I was wondering if anyone knew why the Command Center and on-board LED temps don't match when in Windows? They can be different over 5*+ at times it looks like. Anyone else run into this?

Read what LED shows. It's connected straight to the CPU, whereas software has to read temp sensors then report back.
But lets do it this way: while booting, watch how quickly LED changes its code, and then watch what appears in the bottom right corner. There is 0.1 second delay between these.
Or to make it "fair" comparison: run HWInfo for temp readings together with Command Center and maybe 1 more tool that shows CPU temps. Then start Intel Burn Test on Very High settings and watch temps in each software+LEDs. After 1h all temps should be stable, and apparently software should report exactly same temps as LEDs does.

  • Serious blunder in Command Center Update

I've had my new PC about 4 months now and I'm quite pleased with the MSI Mboard and most of the software that goes with it. (cough killernic cough)
I don't let anything "auto" update and I don't leave any unneeded software running in the background like MSI Live Update. I check these things regularly myself, when I am ready to troubleshoot any issues they may cause.
Well, I just ran Live Update yesterday and it was a doozy. All kinds of software stopped working or refused to open.
I finally tracked it down to Command Center.
The standard install procedure the software follows is to uninstall the current version, reboot if necessary, then do a clean install of the new version.
One huge problem!  After uninstalling the current version my PC could no longer access the temp directory set in my system variables by command center. You'd be surprised how many problems this can cause.
I use the Ramdrive for temp and browser cache's since I'm using an SSD. The installer ignores this important fact and removes the ramdrive but does not reset the system variables back to default.
To avoid this you should disable the ramdrive from command center and reboot before running live update.
If your already having this issue you'll need to set the variables yourself, probably in safe mode, after completely removing command center. Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > Environment Variables radio button.
Edit the TEMP and TMP variables, for both the user and system variables, to point to a folder you know exists. I have a D:\temp folder I use for a lot of stuff myself I just pointed it there.
After that's done and you've rebooted normally to the, hopefully now fully functioning, OS. Go ahead and install the latest command center.

Live Update has a ton of horror stories attached to it..... most people agree, you should just uninstall it....... it even has the potential to brick your motherboard with attempted BIOS updates.

  • ADI + Commands center

    Hello everyone,
I've installed Oracle with ADI on Windows XP SP2 and when I try to connect to the base with the ADI, the commands center keeps loading and won't connect.
I am trying to install it on a IBM ThinkCentre 6073-WU5 (dual core).
The problem is not our Procedures because it worked on a IBM ThinkCentre 8215-VAP. (Pentium 4HT).
I don't know if the problem is about the dualcore configurations, anyway.
So if anyone got the same problem and have the solution, feel free to help me out !
    Thank you.
