No Apple store near me :(

I have to replace my 7th generation IPod Nano's battery but there is not an Apple store in a 5 hour drive.  Where/how can I get my battery changed ???  Driving that far is unacceptable !!

Phone them and ask if you can send it via courier & transfering the amount it's going to cost and return fee.
Many Countries do not have Apple stores and rely on approved Apple retailers / repairers.
It has often taken me about the same amount of time or longer to get to an Apple approved repairer.

    Just curious as to what apple will do if you dont have an apple store near you and you have a defective device. My nearest apple store is 300 miles each way and after reading about some of the defects people have been seeing such as screens being scratched easily, loose screens, software problems etc.
    Verizon is backordered so im sure they wouldnt be of any help.

    Call the apple tech support line printed in your manual. They may be able to walk you through some troubleshooting. If they can't fix the problem, they can book you an appointment at your apple store. I just went through this yesterday.

    We're just users here.  You need to contact the stores directly to see if they have any supply.  You can also check at Best Buy and some corporate AT&T stores.  I wound up walking into a Best Buy and getting mine there.....

    I want to add that taking the inital measurement  you dont remove the sticky part until after you make you final measurement. Line the screen protector up, make a cut, then take final or adjusting measurements and make final cut. Then remove sticky back and place onto the screen. Be careful and slow lining up and placing the protector. Use a plastic credit card and smooth it on. Thats to keep air pockets from being displayed.

    I went to my local AT&T store and informed them about this, and the person that took care of me didn't know about it, she was like "No, you gotta wait till 7/13/09 (My case) so that you will be eligible to upgrade to the iPhone 3G S, or you can do the Early Upgrade which is $200 more for both models(16 and 32 GBs)", but than I said that AT&T release this to those that will be eligible in the next three upcoming months so they can pay $199 for 16GBs and $299 for 32GBs, the guy that was next to her that was there was the only one aware of this update, so I kind of understand why is it that Apple doesn't know anything about this (since I called 2 retail stores and they didn't know anything neither main Headquarters) but I would like for someone in Apple to take a look at this and see what's going on, because where I live iPhones 3G S are in back order in the AT&T stores and since I gotta upgrade, my best bet it's going to AT&T, but I could purchase it at the Apple store because they do have in stock here, but than I checked in Apple's website, whenever I'm going to buy it it says that I gotta pay $399 for the 16GBs because I'm not eligible till 7/13/09 and again Apple does NOT know anything about this Upgrade Eligibility Update so they will charge me more, at the end I'm gonna have to wait till AT&T gets some iPhones 3G S and buy it there, but what ****** me off is that they have it in the retail store here

    Yes, and I said that I was eligible in 7/13/09 and yes I'm part of the family plan, I do spend more than $99 and I already went to the AT&T store and the lady that took care of me in AT&T didn't know this, just one guy in there that was an employee like her knew about it, so even AT&T employees do not know this(Must of them) now, in the AT&T stores near me the Phone 3G S is not available since they ran out, but the Apple stores near me they do have it so I checked with Apple and they do not know anything about this, even the main Headquarters, and when I go buy it they are going to charge me $399 for the 16GBs iPhone 3Gs so I guess I'm gonna have to wait for AT&T to have it in the store near me, which *****, because I'm gonna have to wait, when in the Apple store they have it.

    On the 13th of Jan I visited the Apple Store in Covent Garden. I would say it is perhaps the worst customer experience I have ever had. It has damaged my view of the apple brand as a whole.
    My Iphone 5 was no longer turning on when charging. It would load the apple logo and shut down. it was unusable. 
    This was my second Iphone 5 after the first had been replaced in September - that phone was turning itself off randomly, constantly crashing and the screen was going blank and freezing in that position rendering it unusable.
    When I arrived at the store, I was told that it was a "software problem", there was nothing I or they could do, and that "I would have to buy another one".
    Thre was no remorse or even a display of sympathy from any of the apple staff I dealt with. This phone was only 5 months only, and was only 10 days outside the original warranty of the original phone purchase on the 3-Jan-13. The idea that you can simply "buy another one", when we are talking about a £200 cost was said as if cost was no matter, and as though a software problem was solely my fault.
    To have had to go through the inconvienice of replacing 2 Iphones within a year is a massive incovinence. There is no Apple store near where I work and it is therefore not a simple task to book an appointment at the apple store. What is worse is having to pay £200 to replace a faulty phone that it itself in now 5 months old.
    I do not view this as acceptable.
    What is more, the manager of the store acted particularly rudely. He discussed well within earshot about "why I was taking so long?". He then interjected and repeated that I would "need a new one", continued to discuss with the staff member who was currently helping me that she could leave as her shift was over, and that he would "sort me out" while I overheard him criticising me for being "awkward" because the person who was service me was supposed to have finished her shift.
    I did buy another Iphone. I want a smartphone and enjoy the connectivity that the Iphone has with my other apple products. The manager however disappeared as his conversation had finished, leaving me to set up my own Iphone at the store. I walked across the store asking for some advice on open ended questions when setting up my Iphone, I was informed by him that I should "follow the instructions" and he walked off.
    This experience has, on reflection, shattered my confidence in the apple brand. I always thought that one of the things you were paying for with apple was the customer support. This customer service appears to be extremely lacking. There was no thought that such a performance from an apple product was unacceptable. Just blind adherence to warranty guidlines coupled with rudeness. I am now left wondering how long my new phone will last. With an average lifespan of 6 months, I am left thinking i could well need to shell out a further £200 at some point in July.
    In summary, I was left out of pocket, my view of the apple brand damaged, and insulted at the rudeness of your staff. I leave it with your customer service team to ponder this sitatuion described above and respond accordingly.

    Hi mate. I had a very similar experience to you. I'm on my 3rd iphone 5. First one, the power button broke. Second screen was loose. And now this one does not get a phone signal. I did everything apple told me to. Anyway as I'm now over my year warranty, they weren't interested. I'm not letting it go though. If you want to join up in the email correspondence between me and Apple. I want to get as many people like you and me. Nothing to lose!

    Got new ipod touch for hristmas, someone knocked it out of my hands today and the screen has cracked, how much would it be to come to one of your stores and get the screen fixed?

    Offically, the warranty does not cover user-caused damage, so you may have to pay Apple's standard charge for the iPod to be replaced. That said, though, it's been reported that in some cases, an Apple Store has replaced a user-damaged iPod touch without charge even though they're not obgigated to do so. So if there's an Apple Store near you, take your iPod there, politely explain what happened, and hope they can do something for you.
    If not, you'll need to pay their replacement charge or find a third-party repair service and see if you can get the repair for less.

    I went to an Apple Store, near my house. One of the employees showed me that she could not order it either (sorry, looks like it is really not an option within US).
    She offered an alternative / fix: she could order a Portuguese wireless keyboard, that can be connected via Bluetooth.

    Aright, so I have an iPhone 5 and it can't keep a charge. But not only can it not keep a charge, it cant be charged. I've tried new chargers, it still does not work. I brought it into the apple store near me and they said we can't fix your phone cause its black and gold. my questions are: If I have an iPhone 5 shouldn't I have me warrantee? And if not because of my colors on my iPhone why that too?

    1. To customise the phone you had to open it. You could have done any amount of damage in there.
    2. Apple do not repair iPhones, they replace them, and then use the handed in phone for refurbishment. You do not have an Apple iPhone usable for refurbishment, as you have changed major parts of it for non-Apple parts.
