No archivng objects for these tables???

Hi Frends,
Could you please offer me some help on how can I go ahead in archiving these the following tables as I dont find any archiving objects? Do we have any delete program or write program for thse tables in order to archive these table without using SARA transaction???

S602

S610
Thanks,
Shamim

Hi Shamim,
All the programs are generated automatically when you use MCSX. The archive object will gets created with name MC_* and you have to do rest of the customizing.
The program names will start with RMCA<NNN><Sequence No> for e.g.
RMCA9521                       Archiving Statistical Data from Info Structure S952
RMCA9522                       Delete Archived Statistical Data from Info Structure S952
RMCA9523                       Reload archived statistical data from info structure S952
RMCA9525                       Editing Statistical Data in Info Structure S952
Also I think there will be no dependecies to these table.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Lakshman

  • SEQUENCE Object for Small Tables Only?

    Well Erland, either you calm down your manager (with a martini?) or use NO CACHE.
    QUOTE: "This could cause a sequence to run out of numbers much more quickly than an IDENTITY value. It could also cause managers to become upset that values are missing, in which case they’ll need to simply get over it and accept that
    there will be numbers missing.
    If you need SQL Server to use every possible value, configure a cache setting of NO CACHE. This will cause the sequence to work much like the IDENTITY property. However, it will impact the sequence performance due to the additional metadata writes."

  • DI object for OACT table

    Hi,
    Does anyone know what is the DI object for OACT table, if I wanted to set "Relevant to Budget" flag on a G/L account through DI?
    If there is an object for OACT, how would I have found it in SDK help? I think I've asked this question before, but if I know the db table, how do I search for the DI object for it? I find the cross-reference between the two very inadequate in the SDK help, unless I'm just missing something really obvious?

    Maybe by the Services
    Search Services in the SDK and the second entry is DI Services

  • Is there any command/query/etc, which would allow to understand what database objects (for example tables) are consuming memory and how much of it?

    TimesTen Release 11.2.1.9.6 (64 bit Linux/x86_64)
    Command> dssize;
    PERM_ALLOCATED_SIZE:      51200000
      PERM_IN_USE_SIZE: 45996153
    PERM_IN_USE_HIGH_WATER:   50033464
    TEMP_ALLOCATED_SIZE:      2457600
    TEMP_IN_USE_SIZE:         19680
    TEMP_IN_USE_HIGH_WATER:   26760
    Is there any command/query/etc, which would allow to understand what database objects (for example tables) are consuming memory and how much of it?
    tried to use ttsize function, but it gives some senseless results – for example, for the biggest table, tokens, it produces following output (that this table is 90GB in size – what physically cannot be true):
    Command> call ttsize('tokens',null,null);
    < 90885669274.0000 >
    1 row found.

    Are you able to use the command line version of ttSize instead? This splits out how much space is being used by indexes (in the Temp section of the TT memory segment), which I think is being combined into one, whole figure in the procedure version of ttSize you're using. For example:
    ttSize -tbl ia my_ttdb
    Rows = 4
    Total in-line row bytes = 17524
    Total = 17524
    Command> create index i1 on ia(a);
    ttSize -tbl ia my_ttdb;
    Rows = 4
    Total in-line row bytes = 17524
    Indexes:
    Range index JSPALMER.I1 adds 5618 bytes
      Total index bytes = 5618
    Total = 23142
    Command> call ttsize ('ia',,);
    < 23142.0000000000 >
    1 row found.
    In 11.2.2 we added the procedure ttComputeTabSizes which populates system tables with detailed table size data, and was designed to be an alternative to ttSize. Unfortunately it still doesn't calculate index usage though, and it isn't in 11.2.1.

  • Archiving object for the tables

    Hi,
    I want to archive the tables.But some of the tables I did not find the archiving object.What should be done on this.Pls guide.
    Tables w/o archiving object which i want to archive
    APQD,ARFCSDATA,DYNPSOURCE,WBBP,REPOLOAD,REPOSRC,BDCP,BDCPS
    Thanks

    Hi Rajesh,
    Not all tables can be archived. For some tables there may be option available for plainly deleting the contents without archiving. Please check the Data Management Guide available at the service marketplace for further information. You may also refer to SAP note 706478.
    Word of caution: Not all tables are meant to be archived / deleted. Some tables maybe required for proper functioning of the SAP system (however big the table is). So please proceed with caution if you are trying to develop a custom program to delete contents from a standard SAP table, you may end up deleting some data which was required. Even when deleting using standard SAP programs, proper due diligence and testing is necessary
    Hope this helps,
    Naveen

  • [ADF Help] How to create a view for multiple tables

    Hi,
    I am using Jdeveloper 11G and ADF framework, and trying to create a view to update multiple tables.
    ex:
    Table A has these fields: ID, Name
    Table B has these fields: ID, Address
    A.ID and B.ID are primary keys.
    B.ID has FK relationship with A.ID
    (basically, these tables have one-to-one relation)
    I want to create a view object, which contains these fields: B.ID (or A.ID), A.Name, B.Address.
    So I can execute C,R,U,D for both tables.
    I create these tables in DB, and create entity objects for these tables.
    So there are 2 entity objects and 1 association.
    Then I create a view object based on B and add fields of A into the view:
    If the association is not a "Composition Association",
    when I run the model ("Oracle Business Component Browser") and try to insert new data, fields of A can't edit.
    If the association is a "Composition Association", and click the insert button, I will get
    "oracle.jbo.InvalidOwnerException: JBO-25030: Failed to find or invalidate owning entity"
    If I create a view object based on A and add filed of B into the view:
    When I run the model and try to insert new data, fields of B can't edit, no matter the association is or is not a composition association.
    So... how can I create a view for multiple tables correctly?
    Thanks for any advices!
    Here are some pictures about my problem, if there is any unclear point, please let me know.

    Hi Branislav,
    Thanks, but the result is same ....
    In the step 2 of creating view object, I can select entity objects to be added in to the view.
    If I select A first, and then select B (the "Source Usage" of B is A), then finishing the wizards.
    When I try to create a new record in the view, I can't edit any properties of B (those files are disabled).
    If I select B first, and then select A in crating view object, the result is similar ...
    Thanks for any further suggestion.

  • Archiving object for tables GLPCC and GLPCO

    Hi All,
      GLPCA table stores the actual line items in PCA and GLPCT table stores the totals records of PCA.
    What are the transactions which get affected in regular course by these tables?
       GLPCC - EC-PCA: Transaction Attributes
       GLPCO - EC-PCA: Object Table for Account Assignment
    There is no archiving object for the tables GLPCC and GLPCO when checked in DB15. What is the alternative for archiving the entries in those tables?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Anupama

    Hello Anupama,
    The standard archiving objects for PCA are EC_PCA_ITM & EC_PCA_SUM. Most of the data is archived with above two objects.  Hence it would be better to use given archiving object. About 80% of data can be archived through standard archiving objects.
