No certificates included in signature

Dear SAP,
1. DJ9 - My portal
2. DL9 - My ECC6 ABAP system.
3. DL9 is defined as back-end system of DJ9.
When I am connected to my portal (DJ9), I want to start "Employee Self-Service" menu which is running on DL9.
When I click on ""Employee Self-Service" from DJ9, I have to re-log to be able to connect to DL9.
I can connect, but I always receive the following warning :
==> No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password
What I did :
1. I have check the 3 connectons started from back-end systems. There is no error.
2. I have re-imported portal certificats (DJ9) in DL9.
3. There is no JCO RFC provide error between DL9 and DJ9.
In DL9, in SM50, I have traced a DIA process and I get the following log :

Is it possible to setup some form of system that automatically renews the user certificate for digital signatures? If so, where can i find information on this?

Hi - these are all reader extended through Livecycle ES Reader extensions and are signed by users in Reader. What I am asking is if anyone has an idea where this behaviour is declared, so that I can change it.

I have already tried that option (along with downloading files) as it was one of the solutions mentioned on other threads, but that also failed.

    OK, here we go:
'keytool' is delivered with Sun's development kit.
keytool -genkey -keyalg rsa -alias yourkeyFollow the instructions and type in all needed information.
    Now we make the certificate:
keytool -export -alias yourkey -file yourcert.crtNow we have to sign the applet:
    javac yourapplet.java
    jar cvf yourapplet.jar yourapplet.class
    jarsigner yourapplet.jar yourkey

  • Include Unicode Signature (BOM) Always Checked When Opening Files

When I go to "File > Open..."  in the Menu, the option for  "Include Unicode Signature (BOM)" seems to be always checked by default.  Is there some way to change this behavior?  There is an option for turning it off for creating new files but not opening existing files.
And yes, I know you can also open files in the Files panel, but this question is pertaining to the Menu.

  • How do I create a certificate to remove signature field issues?

I would like to start using digital signatures for some internal documents. We are a small site with about 20 PC users (3 of them Apple).
We can create PDFs with signature fields but every time we sign the document, when somebody needs to sign again (for approval of the first sign), then a constant message "file has been modified since it was signed" and also "at least one signature has problems......"
The way I created the forms is by adding form fields and then "Extend features in Adobe Reader" as only the 3 Apple devices have Professional version of Acrobat.
What is the correct way to do this? I think I need to create a Trusted certificate, of course for the size of our site I don't want to have external solutions, especially because it is for internal purposes only.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

How the signing certificates that you use for all signatures were procured? Were they created by a reputable Certificate Authority (CA) or are they self-signed certificates that you can create in Acrobat and other apps?
If they are self-signed certificates then you need to explicitly trust each of them on each Acrobat/Reader installation. You can use (Acrobat XI/Reader XI) to do that:
    1. Right-click on the signature, select "Show Signature Properties...->Show Signer's certificate".
    2. In the left pane shows the signer's certificate. Select it.
    3. Select "Trust" tab on top and in this tab "Add to Trusted Certificates". Again for self-signed certificates you need to do that on each Acrobat/Reader installation.
If you got your signing certificates from a Certificate Authority #2 above shows the certificate chain. Select that top-most certificate in the chain and add trust for it as in #3. Chances are that all your certificates were issued by the same CA. In this case you need to add trust to only this one certificate on each Acrobat/Reader installation.
You can use Export/Import Security Settings feature in Acrobat to make this process easier. This feature was discussed at length in several discussions on this forum <Re: Small Business Digital Signature Set-up>. Search for "Export/Import Security Settings" for more info.

  • ADOBE Form - How to include digital signatures in adobe forms?

    Hi all,
Can any one tell me the procedure for including a digital signature in adobe form?
    Thanks,
    Vineel.

    Hi,
If you have a third party software which captures the signatures (Ex: ePad), then you can have that integrated to SAP where all the signatures get stored as in SE78. From here you can insert directly in Adobe Form using Graphic Content method in an image field. Hope this is helpful for you.

  • How to read a certificate included in a jar-file???

    Hello,
I have an application who connects via SSL to a JBoss server. Therefore I need a certificate on the client machine.
Can I include a selfsigned certificate in the jar file which can be downloaded with webstart???
If that's possible where can I find the certificate??? For now on my machine I use
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore","c:/Program Files/.../certificate.truststore");
I suppose I have to change the path, but I have no idee to where???
    Thanks anyway
    Bart

Write out the trust store to a file in the temp directory on the client machine when your application starts and instruct the java.net classes to use it by setting the system property just like you described.
    note.. I'm just guessing here

  • Including digital signature in any application/transaction!

    Hello,
i try to include the digital signature functionalty into a non predefined application. For example in co11n.
I read "700495" and the included implemetation guide!
Has somebody any further information to implement this functionality into an existing programm/ta?
Some further information about the interface DS_API in package DS would be helpful too!
    I hope for help!
    Thank You!

Again, without an explanation of the benefit or benefits you are trying to gain, it is really hard to to suggest an approach. "Digital signature" can mean a lot of different things to different people, depending on what you are trying to accomplish.
It could be as simple as adding a signature column to the table and having a BEFORE INSERT OR UPDATE trigger that called dbms_obfuscation_toolkit.md5 to generate an MD5 hash of the data. This wouldn't do anything to ensure that the data hadn't been modified, however, since the signature would simply be recalculated every time. It would, however, allow you to verify that the data didn't suffer a "bit hit" in transit after the signature was applied.
Depending on your goals, solutions can get significantly more complicated from there. How complicated, again, really depends on the particulars of your requirements. Particularly, I would be interested in what benefits you would want from a digital signature approach that you wouldn't get from auditing-- that would give me an idea of the level of complexity you would really need.
Technical people may not be able to decide things like this on our own, but it is our responsibility to let the business know what the most efficient approach to solving their business needs is. If you understand that the business needs to accomplish x, and they have suggested a less efficient way to accomplish that task, it is the technical team's responsibility to go back and explain the options. Business users, in my experience, are generally overjoyed when you come back and say that they can get the functionality they are after at half the cost with minimal development effort.

  • Why does ca-certificates include only mozzila certificates?

I was missing spi-inc certificate and figured out that ca-certificates package deliberately builds only mozilla subdir from upstream source (which is http://packages.qa.debian.org/c/ca-certificates.html).
As of pkgver = 20140325 (https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit … beaae68df7), upstream Makefile refers by default to 2 subdirs: mozilla, and spi-inc.org.
Does anybody know why we're specific about including only mozilla certificates?

Right, I somehow (wrongly) assumed we're fine with what upstream maintains as the whole package.
Digging deeper, this shift in attitude is quiet recent though:

  • Can i include e-signature on a form

i would like to utilize a form for customers to e-sign an authorization form for our company. Can i do this?

Technically, yes but it will depend on which version you are using. Also, you will not be able to exchange data from the applet to the form. To do this, you would need to design your applet code as a bean and code your form so that it can send and receive info via the bean. If you are using v10 or newer then it is fairly easy to just insert an applet. Simply create a java bean object on a canvas. Set the implimentation class of the bean object to reference the main class or the applet. Of course be sure to include the applet jar in the Forms archive parameter in formsweb.cfg and be sure that it can be located on the server.
Note that there were some problem with some JRE versions and Forms versions where this didn't work. If you find that you cannot get it to work, be sure that you are using the latest versions of Forms and the JRE. If there is still a problem, contact Oracle Support.

  • Firefox has stopped accepting many security certificates, including one to check it's own addons from Mozilla corporation. I know these websites are perfectly safe and have frequented them before. I've tried reinstalling firefox to no avail. Any ideas?

Running windows 7 64 bit home
Running virus scan as we speak

I don't know if this has been answered elsewhere, and am not completely sure this is the correct answer. I was having this problem after upgrading to Firefox 3.6.8. Happened in Thunderbird as well.
On Firefox, go to Edit->Preferences->Encryption. Under certificates (specifically, under "when my server requests my personal certificates"), option "Ask me every time" is on by default. Choose "Select one automatically".
    Hope this works for you.
