No matter which version I have the facebook games slow down and even freeze up....Just went to #7 and does the same thing and suggestions.plugins are all up to date
Does seem like the earlier versions of firefox did work better. Does not seem to change anything when you have a new version...please help
I disabled all my computer's firewalls and sure enough, IT WORKED!! My iPod is updated and just now finishing restoring! Thank you SOOOO SOOO much. : D

I once thought that nothing compared to Firefox. I hated IE8 and still hate and curse Microsoft. But now, no matter which version I install of Firefox I found myself calling the same names I call IE8. I have currently uninstalled Firefox. And have gone back to Chrome. Firefox is performing that poorly, crash after crash, hang after hang. Just drives me nuts. Can't handle it anymore. If you know how to fix it, I will reinstall it. Otherwise, I may have uninstalled Firefox for the last time.
Firefox 6 should run well on Windows 7, but in some cases old settings become corrupted during an upgrade. Whether you choose version 6.0.2 or 3.6.22, try starting up to the Profile Manager and create a new blank profile. Then import your old bookmarks and see whether the browser works correctly. If so, you can rebuild your collection of add-ons and re-apply settings. If not, perhaps something else on your PC is interfering with Firefox (or the web sites you visit are unusually challenging).

I'm having problems with iPhoto and the facebook set-up. Every time I attempt to do so it says an error has occured and try again later. I have not seen a solution posted. Therefore, how does one contact Apple to solve the problem? I'm new to the world of iMac but I find it a bit frustrating trying to solve basic issues/problems:(
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

Mac Minis don't run iOS. It would help to know what Mac OS X version you have, and the Machine ID whether it is PowerMac x,y or Mac Mini x,y and and the x,y values. Please do not give us your serial number as that is the key to your warranty.

I have an older Power Mac G5 Quad, and my video card just went out. I am trying to find a video card that will work for my Power Mac. I have duel screens but I can't seem to find the appropriate video card. The serial number on my computer is: RM620603R6W. Apple won't help me because the computer is older than suggested. Please give me the exact video card that will work best for my computer.

I have my iphone4 activated and working since 3days, i purchased it from ebay with 1year warranty, when i check the serial number from Apple store at Bangalore Forum mall, they say that it does not show anything and 'OUT OF WARRANTY'.
Now i have a problem in it, all icons just shake and system hangs, needs restarting.You need to go back to the person you bought it from. Sounds like they may have sold you phone that is not as described.

I'm having problems with my internet since I have upgraded. I am afraid to upgrade on my Macbook pro now. I don't want the upgrade to slow down my laptops. Any suggestions?
Wifi issues are one of the common issues being reported by users. There is not much you can do at this point but wait and hope that th 10.8.1 update will address these issues.

i have sync'ed a folder of photos from my other laptop to my iphone 4, i couldnt copy it from the iphone to my new laptop, even when i go through as normal internal storage the folder doesnt appears
Correct. The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The photo sync is one way - computer to iphone.
You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one. -
I have Snow leopard, 10.6.8 on my iMac, I just tried to install Lion from the App store, but during proces, the install stops after one minute saying: "software might be damaged". I downloaded the software again, same thing. What must I do to install Lion? I have still 487GB free.
Quit all other programs and open Disk Utility
Select your "MacintoshHD" drive on the left and indented and click Erase > Erase Free Space > Zero and let it complete.
Also run First Aid > Repair Disk and permisisons.
If Repair disk gives a error, you have a bigger problem, if repair permisisons fixes and completes, even if it fixes the same thing twice if you click it again, it's ok. Apple just changed things.
You should be able to download the file sucessfully this time, if not, take it to another location with better/faster internet.

all of a sudden my outlook inbox messages are all scrambled by date instead of being sorted by most recent at the top...how do i sort them by most recent at top (which is suppose to be default)
As far as I can tell, there is no way to reverse the sort.

I have a 1st generation ipod, which I love. When I plug it into my computer an image of a disk with a magnifying glass appears (disk scan). When it finishes the scan it always checks out. I then restart it and all looks fine. Each time I plug it in to the computer it does the same thing and it wont show up on my computer. The other strange thing is all of the songs are gone from the ipod but the disk space is still being used. When the ipod is not plugged into the computer everything look fine even the correct date shows up. Any ideas????? Thanks

I dropped my phone in water for a few seconds, but it still works. I went to charge the phone but it friend the charger. It still works though. I just cant charge it. Does anyone know what i should do? it actually burnt the tip og the charger and was smoking I have no idea how the phone is still working. I do not want to buy a new phone.

If it fried the charger, then there is something seriously wrong with it. You need to take it to an Apple Store to have it looked at, and be prepared to be told that you will need to get a new phone. If you can't charge it, it will be useless to you in a matter of days anyway. Also, do not even try to hook it up to your computer....you will probably cause serious damage to the computer and be even worse off than you are now.
Sorry about your troubles. But for your own safety, you need to have the phone looked at! Don't wait - if you wait until it has no more charge left, then no one will be able to recharge it to look at it....
