No pictures on iPhone because of Moved iPhoto Library

All,
I decided to move my iLife libraries to a NAS for the extra space and security of the RAID.  Everything thing seemed to be working well until I noticed that I "Lost" all the pictures on my iPhone.
In researching the issue I found saw that other folks were having the same issue, but none of the solutions worked directly worked for me.
Here is how I solved it.
Quit both iPhoto and iTunes.
I created a symlink using the following script from MacWorld (http://www.macworld.com/article/58177/2007/06/symboliclinks.html)

end open
I then copied this to the standard location of the iPhoto Library
~/Pictures/
I then removed the '.sym' from the end of the SymLink file (the file will now be call just 'iPhoto Library'
The last step is to open iPhoto WHILE holding down the option key, you will then be prompted to select a new library.  At this time navigate to ~/Pictures/ and select the SymLink file called 'iPhoto Library'.
Now relaunch iPhoto to ensure that it is pointing to the correct library then launch iTunes, connect your iPhone and go to the Photos tab and ensure that it can see all of your photos.
